skating is easy!! I've only been skating 2 years and I can do 2 figure skating jumps, backwards and forwards crosscuts,and thrusts, (step sequence 3 spin) 2 kinds of spins, and I had a skating race with my friends when they were going forwards and I was going backwards I STILL WON!

Can you roller skate? It's easier to ice skate when you can roller skate, and it's harder to hurt yourself while roller skating than while ice skating. Try solid ground first. xD
