  • Fuck women when you have a gun >:)

  • Marvelous place for a vacation, it's a shame that we don't have anything like that in Brazil, that's must be the best place to work in the world..

  • The difference between this type of training and Magpul is Front Sight makes it fun to shoot and wants you to get into the sport of shooting. Magpul training is for people that have experience in guns and want to improve themselves in what they are not good at. Magpul is about training for things your not good at, Front Sight is to get you into the gun community and also to spread the word about how important its is to not infringe the second amendment, so they're basically sending spam mail.

  • Amem!!! - Sr Ugotpimp.

  • looks very cool

  • just got back from 2 day defensive handgun, wonderful staff, if you want to actually know how to use your firearm safely, go to frontsight

  • how much does it cost to take the 4 day hand gun course?

  • @ranierlags go on ebay. theres a 1st time deal you can get for around 200 bucks plus ammo

  • This is a great thing. There needs to be places like this in every state

  • I noted the comment from stratispho about the permanent bathrooms. The reason for that and front sight being in the Nevada desert is people shouldn't be to comfortable when training to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Although there was no boot camp mentality the training does have a bit of an edge to it and that's as it should be. By the way I did take the 4 day handgun course there. It was great.

  • wish I could afford to go here. Oh well, im still young, maybe in a few years

  • blah, blah, blah.

  • second amendment gives me the right to have a firearm. I don't see how gun owners have in any way destroyed the republican party. As for you claiming to represent a larger populace, you disgust me.

  • your gay lol, how do you know the opinion of everyone huh? are you god? ok then shutup and deal with your life

  • hell yeah im going to this place

  • going back in 2 days for the practical rifle course. AR-15 ALL THE WAY. THANK GOD FOR FIREARMS!!!

  • Thank god indeed.

  • no bathrooms or water at front sight

  • I just got back after doing a course this last weekend and they don't have permanent bathrooms but they had TONS of CLEAN port o johns and had water. Every range had 4-6 Ten gallon coolers and they had a guy driving around refilling them throughout the day.

  • go fuck yourself

  • Criminals think with guns. Ask a rape victim what she ends up buying. Take away private owned guns and the only people armed are the criminals, cops and military. Which of these three don't typically obey laws, much less the Constitution? The laws we have in California make it hard already. BTW I'm a Democrat and a liberal, but my weapon is my weapon don't touch it.

  • its nice to here from an educated liberal!

    Have a great day!

  • this looks like a heavenly place. god bless every american wanting to exercise his 2nd amendment rights. power to the people.

    in liberty,

    zero

  • My friendly neighborhood warmonger says, "It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

  • LOL

I love that guy at the end "I love that sound".

It's music to my ears too.

  • @megahurts2 It's like the scent of Hoppe's No. 9 solvent.... I love that too.

  • ive been in this place like 4 times i dont attend training

  • !! I LOVE GETTING on the CAM!! msn!!! msg me Z

  • this video got my pusssssyyyy wweeeettttt!!! c me on cam!

  • where is that at ?

  • holy shit I need to get out there!

  • i want 2 go there !!

  • Front Sight is an absolute must for any person wanting to operate at there full potential.

Today was my first, of 4 days for Defensive Handgun. Learned more today than in 4 years as a Military Policeman (79-83) where I carried a .45 daily. Front Sight is the best insurance policy on earth if you ever need draw your Weapon. Change that "WANT" into a "WILL" go there, and soon you will be there!

  • How much is it?

  • Your words speak Monumental of your ignorance! Open your mind! ( or whats left of it after your done smoking pot and playing with your airsoft guns) Wake up! In case you didn't know its about the Second amendment(the right to bear arms). Its about defending your self and your loved ones from the criminal elements! And learning to quickly asses the situation and knowing when and how to defend yourself and your loved ones.

  • Thank you for validating my last comment.

  • oh, so u do live in Iraq then. sorry!!

  • Your Ignorance Is Bliss.

  • right, instead of just saying im ignorant maybe you could explain why??

  • Not a SINGLE situation? I'll give you 2, COLUMBINE AND VIRGINIA TECH. And those people didn't want to steal anything. Do you HONESTLY think you could talk your way out of that situation. I wish I lived in the world you are thinking of, it would be great, unfortunately we don't.

  • Let them kill u, LET THEM!! Have faith, you say to the criminal or watever and say "shoot me, because i believe i will meet Jesus in heaven". A guy actually did this and the person who was threatening couldnt believe wat the man said and became a Christian!! No matter wat the circumstances r, i would never kill, i'd stand up for wat i belive in, even if it means my death.

  • Assume a criminal intends to kill you regardless of what you try to negotiate with him: because of your race, your faith, whatever excuse he can come up with. And he does so, but then goes on to kill 2, 3, maybe 10 other people. You don't seem to value your life highly, but I'm sure others value theirs, regardless of what may be waiting for them in the next life. A Samaritan with a gun can put a stop to such a massacre, and perhaps save you in the process.

  • A Samaritan with a gun....???? America must be sum kind of war zone or somethin!! Look, i know where your coming from, but you just dont seem to get it. If civilians didnt use guns, then criminal wouldn't use guns and they wouldn't be able to get their hands on guns. Instead of everyone being agaist these criminals, you should welcome them into your community and make friends with them. There are human, just like you and me, so dont be so prejustice!!

  • To begin with, criminals use use guns and knives in an illegal fashion to prey upon an unarmed public, where a person is less likely to fight back. A town may suddenly lay down their arms, but its criminals won't. They have no regard for the welfare of other people, including you. They may even use open friendliness to their advantage. You cannot depend on a man with a long criminal record to suddenly become an upstanding citizen. To embrace them is almost certainly a costly mistake.

  • Well if you want to murder people, thats your choice. The problem i have though is the fact that you guys are going around say how fantastic it is to learn how to shoot people -seems a bit sick.

Blah, blah, blah protect, whatever. You people are just as bad as the criminals, world is going crazy!!

  • To murder a person is to kill unlawfully. In many jurisdictions throughout the United States, and the world, it is lawful to react to a person in a manner that protects your well-being, even if it means using a firearm.

And I think I speak for the majority of gun owners when I say it's never fantastic to shoot someone. Some people go to Front Sight because they like shooting paper targets, but many own a gun and want to learn how to hit the threat, and not miss and kill the child next door.

  • OK, have fun killing each other in America while us Brits watch and laugh!! Must be great living the American Dream... oh wait, sorry, that went out the window didnt it? Im not sure whether having freedom is always worrying about getting shot all the time... oh well, thats wat you get for being so patriotic xD

  • "Let them kill u, LET THEM!! Have faith, you say to the criminal or watever and say "shoot me, because i believe i will meet Jesus in heaven". ...No matter wat the circumstances r, i would never kill, i'd stand up for wat i belive in, even if it means my death."

I probably shouldn't have bothered. You're completely insane. But thanks for reassuring myself in what I believe to be right. Oh, you Brits and your knife culture. =D

  • Bollocks to u!!!

  • Yes, then we will all smoke weed get naked and sing Kum ba yah.

  • Wrong.

If the civilians are banned from having guns then the criminals will KNOW THIS, and they will still use (illegal)guns to do bad things to good people who are now defenseless against that kind of attack. Stopping good people from owning guns will only increase the amount of crime. Criminals may not use a gun to commit their crime but the amount of violent crime will increase. Guns don't kill people. PEOPLE kill people. What will you ban next? Pointed sticks? Rocks?

  • Pretty soon people will not be able to carry anything at all. Understand that banning guns is only the begining of losing all your rights. I am a peaceful man, and I don't want to have to kill anyone (with any weapon) but I will defend myself if my life is threatened with whatever I have available(and only if my life is threatened).

"The beauty of the second ammendment is it's not needed until they try to take it away"

    Thomas Jefferson.

  • "in the UK you can be put in prison for just carrying anything that can cause harm to someone else (there are acceptions), and look, we still have rights!!"

This is an oxymoron. You have lost the right to carry anything that could potentailly be a hazard to anyone else. How do you deliver a cooking knife to a chef friend of yours for his birthday? I pity your blindness to the stripping of your rights.

I am done with your closed mind, and will not have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

  • Well done!! u have just pointed out the perfect example of an acception!! btw, your an idiot

  • Right back at ya moron.

  • He's got the mind of a four-year old, and is practically living on this thread. Hell, he doesn't even know the difference between "exception" and "acception," nor the difference between "your" and "you're." I submit he doesn't have the capability to think logically.

Don't waste your time on this douche bag. Go to your local range and punch some paper.

  • All over it my friend. Sent 300 rounds of 147gr FMJ through my G17 and all was right in the world again. Way done with that moron but decided to return here to reply to you. I can see you're like everyone I have met at the range. Down to earth, nice, honest, and helpful. Have fun exercising OUR second amendment right with me, and let the bitter uninformed remain ignorant of the truth of the matter.

  • At the moment, I can't. I'm in NYC. There's a local range that's a hop, skip, and a jump away from me, but alas I cannot reap its fruit, denied even a .22LR rifle on the account of being underage. Every morning as my train passes over the Manhattan Bridge, I see the Statue of Liberty in the distance and think to myself, "This isn't the way it's supposed to be."

On my wall is a target from the first time I shot a Glock 21. Every passing hour toward January 20, 2009--I think you know what I mean.

  • I feel ya brother. Age wasn't a problem I had (ya, I'm a patriotic old fart) when I was looking to buy my first gun. 1-20-09 will be here before you know it. I'm currently checking out the G21SF as it's the same size as my favorite G17 but fires the 45ACP. If you go Glock I recommend the extended slide lock & mag release as well as a 3.5# connecter. other than that the gun is perfect right out of the box. I'll be sure and fire off a couple rounds in your honor on Jan 20.

  • Don't mean to butt into your conversation but if you want a kickass polymer .45 check out a springfield XD in ACP.

I work with GLOCK's a lot when I'm instructing, love them to death, but the XD has the G21, and G21 SF beat hands down.

just my 2 cents. Happy shooting.

  • Thanks bud. :) I have looked at the Springfield XD's (as well as the beretta, H&K, and Sigs). In fact a friend of mine bought one in .40 S&W which he loves a lot.

The grip angle on the Glocks just suited my grip better. I can also detail strip my glock in about 2 minutes, and because of it's simplicity I don't have any resevations about working on it. Over 750 rounds through it without a single FTF or jam with all different grains, and makes of ammo (+P, and +P+ as well)Just love my Glock. :)

  • Ah I see. Yah I carry a GLOCK 19 for IDPA and I absolutely love it. Not as accurate as an XD or an M&P but i'll take reliable and combat accurate over dead on the X anyday.

  • I may have to shoot the XD again just to be sure about my choice. I does have some nice features like the backstrap safety, and highly visable loaded chamber, and firing pin cocked indicator although it would take a few rounds to re-train my grip for the more 1911 style angle of the XD. Last Sunday I was shooting 4inch groups (of 10...Yes I'm in Cali)@ 15-18yards with the stock glock barrel. Not sure if I could do any better with the XD or not. Worth a try though!

  • Yah XD's are great, and in every experience i've had you can usually dial down your groups better with an XD barrel than a GLOCK, can't go wrong either way though.

  • I will shoot the XD again (just to be sure) before I buy. I did order a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel for my G17 for the tighter tolerances, and fully supported chamber that LW provides (although I have not heard of a KB with 9mm Glocks). Will stay with the stock barrel for home defense, and use the after market for comp, and target shooting. I have heard that Glock has changed the design of the .45 cal barrel because of the (rare) KBs with Glocks Stock barrel. Have any information on this?

  • I don't really have any info about KB's on the G21 and like caliber models, but I haven't really ever looked into it. I've always shot an XD or a 1911 for my .45, and use a 9mm for my tac-trainning. If you do research on it it'd be interested to hear what you find out though.

How much does the LW barrel tighten GLOCK groups?

  • I have read on GHlocktalk, and a couple of other forums about the lack of case support on the Glock 21s although for every one I read I also read about a Glock 21s with 10s of thousands of rounds through it without a single malfunction. Most of the KBs have been attributed to weak cases on reloaded ammo although some are from stock (cheaper) ammo (UMC, and the like). So I assume they are rare. Just wondering if you had any other info. I will let you know about the LWB when I get it next week.

  • Yah, now that I think about it I remeber the PD guys talking about the kB's in the 21 series. From what I gathered it was a combo of the loose chamber with shifty ammo. Everyone here for the City/County carry G22's and G23's, and haven't had any kB's as long as proper ammo (as advised by GLOCK) is used. A big prob is people using the lead reloads with the factory barrels and reloaded casing. Just my 2 cents.

  • thats the most ignorant comment I have ever heard. No one teaches nothing to criminals and guess what they kill hundreds og unprepared people every year. This training may save lives of the trainees and or people around em. Pray that you never need to defend yourself cuz if u think you can reason with a crackhead wanting your money you are sadly mistaken. And trust me they do not care if u have "killing training" or not. Want to be a victim and remain on the bliss that is ignorance.

  • whats so outragous about this?

  • why does it have to be outrageous?

cause its about guns. what the fuck you think they do there? hunt humans.

    its a perspective piece.

not all youtube is transexuals singing amy winehouse jackass.

  • poindexter. video not working

  • Anybody can make videos on unknown bands or semi-pro skateboarders. Making a video about something that is real and different is what makes Vice an excellent, if eclectic, source of journalism. Thanks.

  • I find that they can be very biased in their reports but they are incredible at making films. Whether I agree with them or not I always walk away entertained, and a little bit more informed. VBS rocks.

  • @Morris1962 That's a matter of perspective, to hipsters living in an insulated liberal bubble (whom Vice mainly caters to), firearms training is this strange, exotic and even frightening realm to venture into. So Vice treats it with the same journalistic sensationalism as they would venturing into North Korea or joining special forces in A-stan. But to the rest of us normal Americans, these are just mundane skill sets that we all should know but have unfortunately learned to neglect.
