  • Ridley, I really like your reporting style. Informative, covers many points, doesn't force things home too heavily and is pleasant to listen too.

    *****

  • (FreeEnterpriseSociety (.) com - check out the FREE SEMINAR sections for .mp3 downloads with informative, educational, and entertaining audio seminars. 9201 with Bill Benson is my personal favorite, but check them all out)

Also, checkout Tom Cryer the attorney form Louisiana (see playlist on my page).

At the least educate yourself and decide weather what kind of stance youd like to have on the issue.

  • Wow, what a shame to see it come down to this to such nice people.

The stance that Ed took to fight the IRS may not have been the best though and its a shame to see it come to this conclusion.

There are no real silver bullets out there when attempting to free yourself against the IRS and unlawful laws and taxes.

However, there are organizations out there like Free Enterprise Society, that have done many years of research on how to go about freeing yourself against unjust taxes.

    (CONTINUED)

  • Heheeeh, I endorse your candidate! :-)

  • It's not my pathetic. Someone just left it here. I'll ask whose pathetic it is.

  • I don't think an authoritarian can be a busybody. Maybe in your Candyland world they can!

  • Of course the childish bullshit is continuing. You're still here!

Maybe you could take your new society on a pirate ship with Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook. You'd need to go hunting for treasure, because you wouldn't have a job to earn any money!

  • You ought to learn what the word "authoritarian" actually means. It might surprise you. No, it will.

You know, you could put your new society inside a giant peach, and then change your name to James. That's a wonderful idea!

  • Some of us don't need to live in metaphors because we're not afraid of reality.

Maybe you could put your new society inside a big chocolate factory and then invite all the oompa loompas to stay with you!

  • That's pretty crazy.

I hate to tell you, but the rest of the world isn't as nuts and extreme as you make them out to be.

  • Where did I advocate murder?

You know, you should change your name to Pauly Shore, and you can name your new society the Biodome.

  • You should really write a book. It would be a great fantasy novel.

I'm sorry, but I've been laughing at all your responses. You sound like an eight-year-old who's sore that he can't drive the car or stay up late.

  • You would not legally be part of the United States, so you wouldn't be able to casually cross US state boundaries. You would not be employed by a US employer unless you got a visa to work in the US, but I don't see why you would want to pay US taxes. What would your job be? Lumberjack?

  • And who would employ you? How would you make any money at all? What currency would you use?

  • What do you want to be able to do that you can't do under the US government? What would make you feel more free?

  • That sounds really selfish. If you want to create a new society, go do it - don't turn mine into something else just because you're not happy with it.

Or gather all your people into Maine and then try to secede.

    Be reasonable.

  • This society is not "yours."

  • What's a "voluntary society" and where does one exist? Moreover, why should the US - arguably the most important superpower on the planet - become one for your benefit?

  • Name a country that doesn't have taxes that you'd rather live in.

  • p00lman, I've read your posts and see you accept any govt action as right no matter what it is. SAD4U!

It is totally wrong IF these people made threats towards anyone, especially IF evidence supports the charges. HOWEVER, the govt threatens us daily... cap and trade, govt monopoly health care, demeaning the Bill of Rights, re-interpreting The Constitution, etc. ALL of that and a lot more are dangerous for the People BUT great for govt. Their personal incomes show that clearly...

  • No, new policies aren't threats unless those policies are "go out into the fields and dig ditches."

    I don't support governments, I oppose idiocy.

  • p00l. Your state of affairs is owed to idiocy! The Dec of Ind WAS treason. The RevWar WAS rebellion. Your freedom IS therefore idiocy! SAD4U!

Also.. new policies MUST be representative of the People. That these are NOT is the threat from govt!

  • My freedom IS idiocy?

Wow, didn't pass 5th grade English, did you?

  • p00l, "Your freedom is THEREFORE idiocy!" Its a proper sentence, though you cannot understand its meaning.

'Therefore' means 'as a result, or based on things already written;' things you must have ignored. But since you did not make it past the 5th grade, intellectually, well... SAD4U!

You are using the typical liberal ploy. Isolate, castrate, "idiot-ify." And no one here buys it.

Let Obama screw your butt, but don't force me to let him as a matter of 'policy!'

  • Castration is a liberal ploy? Man, I have a lot more castration to do if I want to become a liberal . . .

  • p00lman.. figuratively, of course; which is all a good conservative will allow. You cannot do it in reality, which is why you want to take our guns.

  • Oh, I could certainly do it in reality.

But why would I want to?

  • Hello p00lman, here's a few places I can think of (*much* less taxed): Andorra, Cayman Islands, Bahrein... Andorra is interesting, and also is famous for having the longest human longevity on Earth.

You can search "tax-free countries" and you'll get a wealth of information.

  • Then I suggest you move there.

  • Friend p00lman,

Aren't you yearning for the days when Americans would have instead replied:

Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

The wretched refuse of your teaming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

It is regrettable that today those "yearning to breathe free" are shown the door.

  • I yearn for the days when colonial wannabes would shut up and get with the 21st century.

  • You would want my guns to keep me from keeping your from 'raping' me and mine, as liberals are want to do figuratively and literally.

Colonials? Right, the UK lost its colonials to the US, which is why WE had to save their asses on multiple occasions. Don't send US away, as we are there to save your sorry ass, too!

  • So you're like 250 years old? Really?

Don't worry, I wouldn't rape you with a stolen dick.

  • p00l ! Nope! I'm 54, tho'. Moving into those useless years, per Obama- who chooses to ignore all my earlier contributions.

You are willful! Willful ignorance is purely being stupid! Been there and done that myself!

Been liberal, been elitist, been ignorant of The Constitution and US govt history. Got over it!

Hope you get over it, too!

You WOULD rape me with govt intrusion on my unalienable rights. You'd rape everyone with that.

Let govt rape you, if you want! Don't insist it do me, too!

  • It's not Obama's fault you're useless. You have only your useless self to blame.

  • p00l, again you are being willful- It's STUPID for you to act as if you do not to understand meaning. Of course I'm not useless! Only as Obama, his Czars and the eliteist progressives define it am I useless- unworthy of THEIR health care and fit for death so THEY can steal my little estate from my kids.

  • If you really believe you're fit for death, it's best not to keep the reaper waiting.

  • p00l, ignoring you until you have something useful to discuss and un-stupid to say.

  • Excellent job ignoring me. You really are useless!

  • You can go to another country. You have a choice.

You don't have the choice to get absolute freedom. That's just childish. You need to grow up.

  • How much violence are you willing to advocate against InTheEnd to make him grow up? Would you put him in a concrete box over it? What if he refuses to go in or refuses to let you invade his property?

  • I would willingly subject him to one junior high school experience. It's unlike any other torture I know.

  • You want the benefits of living in a society? Then you have to do your part to contribute. Otherwise, go find some tropical island.

  • The Browns are nuts with a history of violence, criminal charges, and mental illness.

  • excellent report

  • Thanks for covering this story.

  • It's a sad day when two good patriots have become politcal prisoners.

May God Bless Ed and Elaine Brown.

  • Reaping the benefits of living in a civilized society and refusing to contribute to it is punishable, you know, in every single civilized society.

    These people were greedy thieves.

  • Comment removed

  • ", and substituting a personal code involving weapons, explosives, and threats the defendants committed increasingly serious crimes..."....WTF?

Did they have their personal code taped to their fridge? Did the feds find explosives? and what were the threats?

Timothy Geithner doesn't pay his taxes and becomes Secretary of the Treasury. It's all madness. Where's the red queen?

  • The last part is powerful. Mighty powerful.

    Thanks for all your effort.

  • Great speech...

  • JJ McNab is a bitch

  • What did the two people do who are in jail?

  • They refused to submit to the IRS.

  • Absolutely!

  • That's so sad. Good people abused by our own government

  • Thank you for your work, Dave.

That's sickening. Back to the Star Chamber...

  • It is a real shame they didn't have an escape plan in that they didn't leave the country. Early on in the IRS investigation certainly they could have just taken a plane to Brazil or some other country with no extradition. Wouldn't it have been wise for the Browns to have money stashed in overseas accounts? Certainly they should have known that they were going to be used as examples of pay up of else.

  • That's what you get for living in a society and refusing to do your part in it.

  • So people are obligated to be slaves then?

  • If you think you're a slave, then that's what you are. Enjoy!

  • Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

The govt was able to function without income taxes for over 100 years. Income taxes don't pay for any of the good works which so many liberals think they pay for and justify the use of violence / slavery to get. Income taxes are not voluntary. The only reason I pay is the gun to my head. Businesses earn income/profits, people earn wages. People are paying wage taxes, wage slaves.

  • "None are more hopelessly ensalved than those who truly believe they are enslaved."

By the way, my name's not Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

  • No your name is not Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

However, your aka is clueless troll.

  • Whatever, slave. Make me a sandwich.

  • Did the Browns threaten others?

  • Threatening someone with violence and causing violence are not the only crimes in the law of the United States.

  • great video!
