im HIGHLY dissapointed. i know how talented he is, but some were meant to teach, some were meant to perform. i think he's a good player, but he takes a "vibrato" wayyyyy too far, and almost bends the note, up or down half a step. and i extremely disliked his sudden outbursts. they werent syncopated.
@Agarcn2 if money really isn't a factor I highly recommend a Yamaha, i recently test played a lot of horns and yamaha makes some great horns all over the price scale, yamaha horns are good quality and built to last, Vienna is made by the Woodwinds Brasswinds company on the cheap. Lower quality and sure won't last long, BUT it can be a whole lot cheaper, it's one of those, get what you pay for things. if you can, i HIGHLY recommend test playing any horn you can at a local store.
I just got my alto sax the day before yesterday, and im teaching myself..lol ITS VERY HARD!! This guy makes it look waaay easy. haha. But with much practice we all can be as good as him :)...Good luck all!
its not that hard get your breathing right memorize the notes and beats strengthen your jaw and lips by playing long smooth tones without stopping and playing different rhythms it gets easy after a while,then you get to jazz,omg thats kinda hard
@omegaweapon123 it's always good to hear of another joining the sax ranks! i'm a sax major in college been playing for about, oh 11 years now, and yeah, it gets easier, of course after you practice way too much! Keep at it and you'll be great.
@NoPresenceRock i doubt you will be able to, ive been playing for 4 years and ive had instruction by a good teacher and im probably the best in the class but its hard, if ur gonna pay that kinda money u better get someone to teach u

@BONeHEAds626 well im been playing for 3 in a half years, I was strangly 1 year ahead of my class. and my teacher is in a jazz band thats get paided a lot to play, and a very good bass player.
If your gonna dis other people, and undermine the jazz genuis that is Richie Cole, than I would think you wouldn't mind posting a video of your playing?
I mean after all, if your better than Richie Cole, than you must be like, OMG, AMAZING!
In fact, your probably a last chair, Richie Cole wanabe that squeaks anytime you try to play a lick.
@NoPresenceRock Dude you can do anything you put your mind to iv been also playing for 4 years and I am A super amazing alto player it took me about a week to learn how to play with my teacher now im Playing better than this duded!!! dont listen to people Alto Is Very EAsy And The Best intrement :)

I just bought a Selmer Bundy II complete sax... I had some classes and I must admit, the guy is a beast! He's very good!
