Thats what makes the guitar music the best music. It's all to the guitarists touch. You can practice to sound like someone else, but in the end you learn to appreciate being yourself. That is what makes guitar players unique.
Dont get me wrong, steve vai, joe satriani, and Eric Johnson are my personal fav guitarists (G3 96' ftw) but you cant forget about Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, all the innovators on the bass. Your damn right, guitarists really do have somthin unique, but the bass is pretty damn close IMO.
There is just something about his vibrato that makes his notes just standout. I mean my cousin emulates him well with his carvin steve via amp and but, its all in his fingers.
That was THE worst quality video I have ever seen.
