Well i have just recently been in cats... and was just pointing out they need to act more like cats.. use there backs more, keep fingers together for paws.. bent legs and elbows never straight.. etc.. soorrry if it sounded offensive
No problem, critique is always welcome... only, did you read the text concerning the workshop? We were confronted with the problem that not relying on make-up, costums and scenery, we had to find a way of doing "more" not to be too bored. In the original scene, they don't do that much. Anyway, no offence, thanks for your comments. There are always ways to grow and get better. I posted the video for the guys in this workshop, so they can have a look at themselves! All the best!
i love this! so clever!!! i would go and see their show if they were actually doing one!
cuz i love when ppl kinda change the dance up a little. i liked what they did when they said, "can u look at at a king, would u sit on his thrown?" very awesomely clever!
You can be freer doing a workshop (the participants are individual and on another level than the professional performers on stage), but you don't have the stage equipment, costumes and make up (and time!), so there are also quite a few difficulties to deal with. After all, the "Jellicle Song" in the original version is not really THAT inspiring either... Thanks for the compliment! You get the best results, when people are inspiring each other...
Great interpretation of the song! For a workshop that was awesome! I love it (except for the face at the end..that kind of scared me. (lol...just kidding!) Honestly, you guys should be proud of yourselves. I'm amazed you got that much together in just a work shop. Many Cudos!
Thanks, hopepren, those cats were absolutely phantastic to work with!!! Some of them never had danced before, most of them no ballet or jazz at all... They were dedicated to the end and learned everything within a few hours, then I taped it... next time I'll make a nicer face :o)
Good try for your age guys well done!
