@KuchingZaz It stops you using the disguise kit, but lets you kill without a trace and you instantly disguise as your victim. Imagine there's an engineer with lots of sentries that your team can't get past. You can get out the YER, cloak, get behind the engineer and backstab him. The sentries don't even notice and the dead Engineer disappears. There's also no kill message on the HUD. It's the perfect murder. Then you can sap everything, looking like the Engineer.

While i do rather like the eternal reward, I think those stunts you pulled are what any good spy should be able to do, with or without a YER. From-behind kill streaks can also be done with a normal knife, as long as they don't see you!

@woross1 clock and dagger is for slowpokes, with this thing you can't travel far, so you stand in the same spot for hours

invis watch is what you need, killing people and taking their guns will refill it, so you are going to have more motivation for backstabbing

This weapon is sweet,all you need is to get on higher ground get a stab from jumping behind the victim and you can easily get 6+ stabs especially on Payload :D

The only bad thing with this knife is the first kill. It's hard, but when you get it, it leads to a string of back-stab combos.

A good mix with the eternal reward is the dead ringer, since most noobs /F2Ps don't know about that effect.

The knife is difficult to use; leaving you vulnerable unless you cloak. So, cloak to infiltrate enemy lines and get behind the enemy. Then stab away. The first stab is important....

i personally think dis is a deadly weopon, cause if u stab an engie with a disguise already, then it makes the stab n sap process a lot easier. It is a lot more effective then the regular knife if around other sentries too cause they wouldn't notice, i would say.

@WilliamBrothers Yes, you are left with your cloak when you spawn, but when you already backstabbed someone, you're gonna get lots of rewards. This way you will not be spotted by a sentry when you backstab an engy, it cloaks the body upon kill, so that's pretty good.

It's good to have Your Eternal Reward and Dead Ringer on Dustbowl, Stage 2 and you are on RED. During setup time, just stand between the two entrances (Closer to the small one). I hate this knife, the disguise is one of your most powerful weapons, and they just take that away from you... I'm really having a hard time getting backstabs with the YER because when I see someone and I walk up to them, uncloak, and GET raped in the back because there is some other random dude behind him. With the regular knife, it wouldn't have happened, I would get the backstab, cloak, run towards safety, rinse and repeat...

I love this knife. Fooling people with this is amazing.

I fooled a medic on cp_egypt on giving me the uber. I killed his heavy with this knife in a huge crowd, got the uber, wasted it, killed the medic and killed a few people. My god was he pissed but it was hilarious.

Very nice, although I think that you cloak too often after stabbing. Maybe it's a habit, but a lot of people, especially right after the update don't think about a YER spy when they see someone disappearing. I once had a medic shooting on me when i had no disguise, and then I backstabbed his heavy (which didnt see me), then the medic started healing me. I LOLd

Man this weapon looks like awesome. My main problem as a spy is running into people who are ruthless at looking for me. Sure, it buys my team a bit of time in some situations but it's even worse overall since I can't do my job very well; it's part of the reason I've been playing switching my classes up a bit recently. With this knife I'll be able to avoid these vindictive asses with a little smart movement and good acting. You can bet I'll be using this thing.

I would guess the knife is useful for cart stabs since generally the cart would stop saying blocked and then they all turn around to blow you to smithereens.

I have a complain with the eternal reward for being a silent killer though. When you backstab people your spy still says lines like "you got blood on my suit" which in turn give you away even if the enemy you killed didn't scream.

Btw, does stabbing someone with the eternal reward show the kill on the top right on the enemy team's screen?

When u can't cloak whenever u want to, u have to rely on disguises. Kind of difficult if you can't disguise unless u kill somebody first.

It might be a different story if you got the whole set of items and the decloak noise is reduced, but I think the invis watch (and the the cloak and dagger in some situations) are a much better option.

@pobpob5 Yeah, but if you kill an engi, you will instantly disguise Youreself like him. The sentry does not have time to kill you. It is the opposite of the normal spy knife, instead of LOSING your disguise when attacking, you GAIN one. But the price for that is that you can't disguise Youreself at the beginning of the round, tho.
