  • Great video and I look forward to your next one. Hey if you get a chance, stop by my channel and check out what I have going on. Let me know when you have something up

  • This stuff is very different from TDC 07 but now I am starting to understand what has transpired over the last year or two and that helps me know where to go (if I know where others have been).

  • Ed I want to be you when I grow up. Awesome information. I love your videos because I learn from each one. Thanks

  • Hey Acquiesce100

I'm pretty sure I have had about two original thoughts in my life - I do like to credit people though!

Thanks for watching and of course Long Live The King!

  • Ed, love your concept of the Web Fortress. It makes so much sense.

  • Going wide , going deep , hmm I think I have heard that philosophy before from the king of the internet marketing arena, no doubt you copy off him.

  • thanks Ed- quality not quantity!

  • In some ways - yes this has all been said before - as you will here me say fundementals are fundementals

I always justified this by thinking about the publisher model - the irony of that is think about successful publishers - even the boutique ones have a team.

The exciting part is that I think web 2.0 means that how a team can interact - indeed the traditional notion of a team changes completely and for the better!

  • Ed, it's 4am and I am social networking, building content and just generally optimizing (see US spelling - you taught me that). Loving the videos but I am truly loving the people who do this stuff. P.S. Aweber rules!

  • This is when it gets fun. When passion, not superficiality rules. Become a Derek Truks (saw him last night at Staples!!!! WOW) of your niche.

  • Good stuff Ed. Looking forward to the next video, and I'm going to be looking at my sites to pare down to the ones that have "legs" for the future. Thanks!

  • Spot on Ed. Coming from the ad world, I think what you're referring to is Branding.

  • Ed, Again you deliver such cool content! Cannot wait for part 3.Thanks Mel

  • Ed, great video. First I would like to say that you and Frank are part of my small handful of Internet heroes. But I have noticed that you and others are starting to advocate what Ken Evoy and SBI have said for years. Any comments and thanks for all the neat stuff over the years.

    Dave

  • Your both right - I think a lot of the stuff that you have to do is not difficult - it's time consuming and that's were it's smart to think about building a team where you can outsource repetetive stuff

  • Thanks Ed, I've been thinking this is the way to go for a while.

    Wendy

  • Actually, it's a lot less work than most people think. A lot less than it used to be, for sure. But that too works in our advantage because it keeps people doing only the minimum. Smart thinking.. I think I know where this is going. ;)

  • Ed, I love following your videos and blog! Keep up the great work. It's great to hear the insight you have and outlook for the future of IM.

  • Sounds like alot of work! :(
