there is no such thing as "western" science, there is science. Buddhism is not science, it may have certain practices such as mindfulness and metta meditations whose effects on the brain and psychology may be measured scientifically but buddhism is science in and of itself.

@shamash007 Wow, here we go again. Why is it we try to tell everyone in the world what they have to do. We tried to force Iraq to do what we wantedcouldnt stay out of that one. Same in Afgan. . Now we are trying to tell the Chinese what to do. People there no WMD's or terrorists in Tibet. This is their business we need to stay out. We are not the global police or global bullies. We asked the Chinese to leave they said no. No means no people. Hey Richard Gere shout the hell up!!
