Back in the day the studios decided what these ladies wore down to their eyelashes. Unfortunately, it wasnt always good. For some reason the studios chose to dress Eleanor and Ginger in the ugliest of attire. No matter. They shone. And in this clip you can see Ginger's beautiful legs. More importantly her gift.

Ginger should have had more solos in her movies with Fred. I'm really glad that she had a chance to do solos in some of her movies without Fred because she is a wonderful dancer.

@Tahkaullus01 I've heard of that quote, but I don't think Ginger was the one who said it (though it's often misattributed to her). I think it originated in a cartoon, from what I've read.

When she wore pants or shorts one could really see what a terrific dancer she was. I love her flowing dresses, but they also hide her.
