She's not copying MichellePhan. People edit makeup tutorials to make it more theatrical. In fact, I find her tutorials more entertaining and helpful than Michelle's in my opinion. She's an individual makeup artist and to say that it's a tribute is a little rude :x

Hi aud! I just want to give u a tip. I notice in every of ur vid, when u pick up blusher/ bronzer/powder with brush, u always blow the excess pigment before applying. actually that is not good. when you blow the excess off, you are actually contaminating ur brush more which could cause your skin to get infected. it is much safer to tap it off instead of blowing it off. its more hygienic. hope this helps you aud ;-)
