  • He did alright. Just needs to learn when to throw in a little right rudder, especially when adding power suddenly.

  • nice plane

  • landing is great

  • I've flown in some tight spots before where diving from 100 - 30 feet is a requirement to land in one piece before the end of the runway. I'd say he did an amazing job at saving a tip stall 30 feet off the ground. I didn't have the luxury of saving my P51-D Mustang's tip stall at that height. The landing was planted nicely and stayed down without bouncing. AND if you can walk away without needing glue, its a great landing.

@Free07Style: Great job. Very nice plane.

  • Relax people. He was able to land it nicely. He was able to save it in the first place. It probably shoked him a bit but who wouldn't be?

It was a good landing at the end & that's that, right?

I wish I can build something like this one day.... Very nice plane.

  • What kind of approach is that? 50 meters high lets nosedive and pick up 100km/h to land. No wonder this thing almost crashed. Get a simulator!

  • 109's are a pain in the ass to fly! they always wanna tip stall real easy

  • After struggling to watch the lack of skill from the operator, I would be shocked to know this plane is still flying.

  • @dtarm1 I don't know if it still is, actually. I didn't see the guy since then

  • Nice German plane:)

  • Sorry, the Wings are not originell..., but i like it! ;)

  • right at 4:05 i thought she was toast...nice save!

  • Very nice Plane:)

  • Nice save at 4:16

  • WO! Two VERY close calls there!! But a good landing, after all. Personally, I would have brought it in on a lower approach angle. Still, a nice plane \ engine combination.

  • waiting for the machineguns to open fire

  • Looks like a faulty weight balance

  • Thanks for the video.

    Nice job saving it!! :D

  • WOH U PAID TOO MUCH!

the kit is 269 dollars from nitroplanes dude. i have the same one. the engine is only 2-3 hundred. you overpayed BIG TIME man.

  • Did the pilots underwear come clean?

  • wow 4:20

  • Thats a beautiful airplane, how much is that?

  • @marshallgibson89 The kit is around $ 600, the engine around $ 450 and depending on how you setup the electronics with a simple solution you will end up at $2000 and with higher quality setup around $ 2500 to $ 2800 both without the transmitter

  • @Free07Style

    Kit is 329,= euro

engine 450,= euro (give or take)

    servo's 200,= euro

    receiver 90,= euro

battery's, fuel and small stuf, 200,= euro

So for a give or take a 1300,= euro's excl. transmitter and excl. transport costs.. you can have it fly.

Change the retracts and you're wallet is missing a couple of hundreds suddenly.

I am looking for this plane so therefore I know the prices.

  • Well, you paid twice the price! Nitroplanes has one from CMS and the kits comes at $269 (without motor or accessories of course, but this makes any option possible, like electric propulsion from china).

Bien-sûr si vous êtes puriste, évidement, ça vaut la peine de dépenser plus d'argent pour avoir plus de détail ou une meilleure mécanique.

  • @TheBugsBunny1976

you're totally right about the kit. But it costs $184,= to get it to Europe. So the total comes at Nitroplanes on $453,=. Think the S&H is too expensive at Nitroplanes.

  • @Free07Style that's cheap

  • Looks like a CMP model with inherently bad designed, heavy fiberglass

  • Ein Wirklich sehr schönes Modell!!!Verdammt viel glück gehabt beim 1. Landeanflug :))

  • At 4:00 my breath chocked! This was an awesome rescue! What went wrong there?

I guess that the pilots fingers wobbled even minutes later...

  • amazing save when it almost went into the field...

  • gwhat did u pay for the complete setup with the model, engine and servos

  • Excellent vid, I've heard that engine and your right it has a great realistic sound. I own over 25 warbirds and the maidens are always the most interesting ones. Once he dials all the trims in and gets the cg right he'll be fine with it.

  • ......

  • Messischmitt 109,,,,,,,,,, a difficult plane to fly, but a good trainer if you would like to eventually fly a spitfire.

  • Nice landing better than other peoples landings

  • Beautiful bird! Almost bought the farm after that first landing attempt. Good save.

  • some rudder on takeoff should help with those (what look like) torque issues.

  • this guy has no idea how to fly!! why would you make a video of him flying this beautiful aircraft?

  • Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. Why? Because I was there and there are some interesting scenes that are worth to share with you. My flying skills are less the his and I believe that no skill level can be criticised as such as far as pilots are not putting others in danger. Everybody started one day and most of us will never be champions and don't even want to be one. His skills are actually not that bad - he build a nice plane, he flew it and he saved it on its maiden flight...

  • Ok i do agree with you... But a website is using this video to promote selling this aircraft... I will prob be buying it but just kind of a let down when watching on there website.

  • Thank you for uploading Free07Style! It's great to se the 109 in flight and very nice to hear the FS-200. Please ignore the silly comments too and keep the great vids coming.

  • Calm down. It's YouTube. It's a cool vid and be grateful that someone took the time to create and upload a vid of a great plane in action.

  • @CamCommandatore what an ahole you are...

  • Whoa ! that was a close one , good looking plane my favorite warbird !

  • very cool, it does sound very nice, haha u got so lucky with the take off without breaking the prop and then the almost crash at the end

  • i heard it even has spoilers? is that true

  • I think you better check your CG it looks tail heavy

  • Move your CofG forward to 30%, add 70% exponential to elevator. And BEWARE of torque of big 200 FS at low speed!

  • Nice canola field back there.

  • Yes, but very nasty to search for your model in the field. I made this experience twice and I found both with some luck :-)

  • Nice save too!

  • Beautiful aircraft. Awesome scenery.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yes it's a nice area with the bigges Swiss lake 5 minutes from there and the Jura mountains on the other side.

  • Nice landing

  • nice one!!! how big is your plane? i'd like to have the same :) and maybe you can advise me where can i buy the same? alrady have zero fighter and mustang p51, but this one must have too :))

  • He bought it in a shop in Switzerland. I didn't find a Web-Shop so far that sells that model

    Encore bravo
