I know another first world problem, that I just wasted 1 minute and 35 seconds of my life listening to you talk when normally geography would prevent me from making such a terrible horrible mistake.
What I hate is when I'm at dinner and there's a jug of water in front of me. I'll keep on filling up my glass and drinking it without realising. Then about an hour later I have to pee every five minutes.
@lesliefoundhergrail Hank Green's channel hankschannel has a reaction to the new Youtube layout and you're in his subs on the homepage, check it out. :)
I just leave my water until I'm thirsty again XD and if I have no salsa left (I actually run out of chips before that usually happens) then I just fold the bag up and put it away till I have more. And 'sides I don't mind plain chips.
Scented bubbles are awesome. Know what is even more awesome? Frozen bubbles. Yep. Blow bubbles in the middle of winter when it is really freaking cold (obviously below 32F) and they freeze and fall to the ground and shatter.
Man, I've been there. But at least overindulgence in water doesn't hit you quite as hard as overindulgence in, say, cake. Although cake is good too. I really want some cake...
I can never get the proper chips to salsa ratio. I always run out of chips before salsa and if I grab another handful of chips it never fails that I grabbed too many and have to eat them plain. Our lives are so hard.
@tetsubo57 makes sense, but I'm going to be honest here. If I see a full bottle, I wouldn't be surprised if I drink the whole thing. Water is just so goooooood. I can't stop myself. And then I have the stomachache :-P
Will you please explain to me how pouring away water is a waste? There is a finite amount of water on the earth, and it is not your fault that the country you where born into has access to it. What you sure should say is, "It is a waste to pour water down the sink, as the amount of money I have paid to pour it away would have bought some people easy access to water." I'm not trying to be rude, please correct me if I am wrong.
@sophsincolour On one level it is a fiscal waste. You paid for that water. By running a well, paying a water bill or taxes. So pouring it down the drain is a tangible waste.
But on another level it is a resource waste. Even though 70% of the planet is water, very little of it is drinkable. And some 1 BILLION people lack access to potable water on a daily basis. Waste not, want not.
@tetsubo57 Yes but pouring it away doesn't really effect those who don't have easy access to it. If you where to send money for a well in Africa, you are not physically sending the water, you're sending money so that they are able to reach & filter water that is already there.
@sophsincolour But you would still not be wasting a resource that is *here* right now and useful as potable water. Down the drain, it does nothing useful.
@sophsincolour But it just goes through a cycle and is reused. is it not technically a waste of electricity to have the water filtered and refined, and not a waste of water?
where did you get the bubbles from!!!! I must have!!

Mint scented bubbles? Now I've seen everything.

i would recommend a nalgene or similarly functioning bottle that holds water for you to drink or not drink at any time.
also thanks for the bubbles.

I once had a plastic cup that was, I kid you not, one quart. It gave me some intense water belly many a time.

Why not just put the glass back in the fridge? And drink it next time you're thirsty?
Daniellexplosion 3 months ago
Does finishing the water help those that don't have any? No. Just dump it out. Don't drown yourself. I rather like you.

I keep my water in a Nalgene bottle. I drink what I want and store the rest for later. No waste involved.
