In 1970, when environmentalists were making predictions of man made global cooling and the threat of an ice age, what kind of government policy should we have undertaken to prevent such a calamity?
When Ehrlich predicted that England would not exist in the year 2000, what steps should the British Parliament have taken in 1970 to prevent such a dire outcome?
Finally, what makes us think that environmental alarmism is any more correct today than yesterday?
Global warming is a hoax. Yes we need to cut down on pollution and such but this G/W stuff is a catalist for extreme taxation in the name of saving the planet. Even you tree huggers along with the rest of us are going to get taxed, screwed and loose some of our freedom if they pass some of the new laws and regulations that I have been reading about. Carbon credits, what a load of crap. Melting ice, happens every year. Climate change, changes day to day. Co2, required to keep plants alive.
