  • I also like your post. it's well written. One more point I would like to make is that again in my opinion, for a father to engage a lawyer with younger children for example 1 to 10 years old is a total and utter waste of money. The likely outcome will be to make the proceedings even longer and more costly with the same or worse outcome.

  • @darkside9129

    Thanks for the supportive comments.

You are right and I don't think a lawyer would do men any good in most custody cases. It's to the point where the courts don't even attempt to hide that "child" support is really just another form of alimony. I recently read about an actor who has 96% custody of his children but is still forced to pay his ex wife child support.

The reasoning behind this? Because she has no job and can't support herself.

Misandry is law in the west.

  • @Jmnzz Thanks, I'm from Australia but family law is screwed up in most places if you ask me. Causes more harm to society than good as you've already expressed. I was told by my neighbor that even though he gets 50% of the time he has to pay 12% of his income. It's a business and it's about time children were not abused in this way. Another form of child abuse totally ignored. Okay, thanks and good luck.

  • The best interest of a child is a term loosely used by Family Law courts to hide behind. Each case is first and fore-mostly about money and the division of assets. If there is no money, then and only then will courts make decisions based on children's issues. BUT if the child is young then money again will be seen as the driving point in the decision, ie; most courts will assume the father can earn more money and so he should have less time with the child.

This is from my personal experience.

  • Paul Elam has posted your vid on to Men's News Daily. I knew that he would like your stuff.

  • Sure did. I already thanked him.

I am writing over at MND now and what an honor that is.

  • Another fantastic video! As a men's rights activist I appreciate your objectivism toward both our movement and feminism. You have a clear understanding of the issues on regarding gender equality and are very articulate. I will introduce your vids to as many as I can.

  • Thank you.
