  • what a shit singer

  • Who goes to high point, nc :/

  • Rick sounds like crap here.

  • @Ilovewyatt01 Rick Nielson rocks allways has and will.

  • damn that guitar puts KG's guitar during Master Exploder to shame...

  • that has to be one heavy mother humping guitar

  • lol you cant even play the bottom 2 necks on that guitar

  • dude he's been playing that guitar for over 30 years, saw them on "All Shook Up" Tour in Columbus, Ohio in 80 or 81...had a red one then

  • who cares how old they are. when you are that old folks, you'll be saying... gosh... they had something to live for and are gonna outlive me. cheap trick forever!

  • @goodygoody23

    not in Rick Neilson's hands

  • theyre guitarist is hilarious hahhaha

  • I saw Cheap Trick, two years ago at the Tweeter Center along with Heart and Journey!!!

  • Cheap trick Rule

  • talk about compensating lol

  • holy crap, u can definitely tell that rick nielsen is getting old by watching this

  • @g3onktm Neilson's about ten yrs older than the rest of the guys in the band, which would place him in his early 60s here. He was in a few bands during the mid 60s and already somewhat of a "veteran" when he hooked up with Robin and Tom in '75 to form Cheap Trick. They were in their early 20s but Rick was already pushing 30 by that point. I think he looks pretty damn good for 60 something. Robin and Tom look good too. Bun E looked 45 when he was 25 so he looks the same these days

  • saw them last night.. what a concert

  • check out these guys:

    AllOfTheAbove09

  • Idols of my youth playing at the fucking High Point Furniture Mart party, or whatever it is.........

  • i call that guitar a waste of money

  • why, he has the money

  • yeah thats true but at least two of those necks are wasted since he can't reach them

but he does have the money i must agree

  • if i wasn't a cheap trick fan i'd say the same but he said in an interview that each next is different- the next closest to him is a 12-string, the next a regular 6 string, a 6 string with whammy bar, a telecaster style pickup arrangement, and the next a fretless which ive only seen him hit about 3 notes on in as ling as ive been watching him

  • yeah i figured as much but i still think he could just buy like 2 double necks and a fretless or something

    it does look cool though

  • basically

  • wow. is it possible to reach the bottom neck of that guitar?

  • Whats the song? Sounds familiar... from skate. Isn't it Surrender?

  • look at the title plz..

  • That guitar is digitally projected out of thin air. He fakes it that it seems heavy. It's all a very CHEAP trick.

The actual sound is coming from electronic triggers hidden in his right hand fingers. They're triggering a sample of his favourite guitar of all time...the '57 Stratocaster.

Just thought you kiddies would like to know....

  • you are very high

  • i don't know what you're taking, but i want some

  • muhahahahaha nice man...

  • dAMM GOOD !!!

  • omg soon rick nielson is gonna get to old to hold that guitar....... good job tho for even being able to play that!

  • That thing must be heavy as hell and has to sustain like a motherfucker.

  • 40 pounds

  • Furniture Market party ????

  • los 5 cuellos es lo unico que les da publicidad

  • Freakin' excessive and 'over the top'! (But cool!)

  • never seen the 5 guitar in action before.....

  • Hey Rick, for heaven sake ! Care about your back!!! Great Cheap Trick! they are gonna save the Earth !

  • omg does every neck on that guitar work and have strings??

  • I wonder how Rick's back is fairing? Haha

  • fukin lve!

  • I hate the fact that Cheap Trick and Heart didn't play with Journey at Kansas City.

  • I never though that a guitar like that ever existed O_o

  • yup,and theres on with 10-12 necks

  • the guitar necks were supposed to be in a circle with 6 necks 6 bridges and 6 sets of six strings

  • when it said nc did it maean newcastle city nashville

  • North Carolina

    USA

  • LOOK AT HIS FUKIN GUITAR

  • kinda hard to miss, haha

  • @strum21 fuckin a

  • Classic

  • Why does Robin wear the hat? Same reason as Rick? Is there any You Tube footage of Rick without his cap?

  • maybe because he has no hair

  • I heard Cheap Trick for the first time in 1978and saw them for the first time, in Nashville, in 1980. 30 years later....still proves these guys are the greatest band the good 'ole USA has ever produced!

  • Still classic as ever. these guys make my life awesome. I see Robin is still sporting that god damn cowboy hat, he really needs to lose that shit. lol

  • I had no idea they were still going! Great stuf!!!
