  • Brilliant! Loved the Wurlitzer style playing on the Conker! I have a request to hear 'On the sunny side of the street' played on the All Saints "Conker' please!

  • @ChrisLawtonorganist Cheers Chris, I have that Music somewhere! :-)

  • Hi Rob

Sounds good - but I was reading the other day that Joplin said that ragtime shouldn't go too fast! This one is easier to play somewhat slower. Keep up the practice!

  • @revtonynewnham Cheers!

  • Rob, I just can't imagine that Scott Joplin would ever have thought that one of his rags would be played on a church organ in Wales - brilliant!

  • I had intended to say, though, that it's not the first time I've heard it played on a church organ. About 20 years ago I photographed a wedding at St. Andrew's, Netherton (Dudley, West Midlands) and Tim Newey (celebrated local organist and Inn-keeper) was playing the organ. Much to everyone's surprise, whilst the registers were being signed, he struck up with 'The Entertainer' ...

  • @kejcolley Cheers Keith - I may do just that in my next Wedding! :-)

  • Lovely! How about the little fugue in g minor, it is one of my favorites. :)

  • @mollymartin42 Thats one I wouldn't mind doing I liking the idea of the Sortie in E Flat at the moment!

  • Great ragtime tune on the ol' Conker!!!

Have you tried any other rags on that versatile instrument?

    Good Job! Rob!!!

  • @oldbear52 Cheers! Ile keep my eyes open!

  • It sounds good on the Conker Rob :-)

  • @007vauxhall I know Cheers Paul!
