  • Try looking up the word: Pnaci pronounced pen nah` see. Meaning: Descendants of the Old Ones i.e. Indigenous to the Western Hemisphere. The term "Indian'" is a misnomer when referring to Americas Indigenous People. Thanks.

  • Please note: we never called the first Nation peoples "Indians" during our study except when we pretended to be colonials and you will hear that in the first person narration. We aimed for historic authenticity of the characters and taught cultural sensitivity through out our study.
