@knightguy11 jjgretz23 is right. Florida had some down years in between Spurrier and Meyer with Ron Zook. Every team has cycles of ups and downs. Miami was a great team in the 80s. My team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, was down from 1997 all the way through 2007, with only 3 10-win seasons those years but we made it back and have been back since 2008. Tennessee (except when they played your team) had years of success under Fulmer, but they are down now.

@knightguy11 jjgretz23 is right. Florida had some down years in between Spurrier and Meyer with Ron Zook. Every team has cycles of ups and downs. Miami was a great team in the 80s. My team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, was down from 1997 all the way through 2007, with only 3 10-win seasons those years but we made it back and have been back since 2008. Tennessee (except when they played your team) had years of success under Fulmer, but they are down now.

Ya know, it sucks to have lost this one like we did.... but dammit we came close. VERY close. Now, I admit we lost, but we didn't get our asses kicked like some fans will say. It was close, and we lost. It was a good game though. A VERY good game.

Another MIA vs.FSU nerve wrecker, what is with these two schools? Being a CANES fan I have to tip my hat to the NOLES for showing every year. Out of all the great games they played this one was my favorite. That last play switch our emotions in under a second, at the 2:27 - 2:28 was joy and pain for you and pain and joy for us. As a Nole fan, I admit Miami had the better team, offense and defense. IMHO, FSU did very well just keeping up.
