lol who voted in this poll union members that were in the capital or the paid people by obama? rofl your morons if you think this is the truth. notice how they don't show a non biased slanted liberal poll they all are. MSNBC? are you serious if they arnt liberal then america is in no debt. 14000000000000... gj unions do it keep it going lets it get to 20 before obama is phrased "the worst president of american history"
We were required to hire union carpenters for this one job, but they sent us a pair of damn rastafarian pipefitters! Nothing against those guys, but they're just not carpenters. Fuck Unions.
Yep, support fire fighters, police and teachers right to having healthcare and all these other benefits that come with your typical government job. BUT I DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THEIR SHIT SO FUCK THEM
These protestors are the epitome of greed, not "the corporations".
Coporations actually earn their money through the willful exchange of commerce by creating things for which there is a demand, such as cars, computers, medical equipment, prescription medicines, etc. They don't get taxpayer money like these parasites do. Heaven forbid they should actually have to pay a whopping three percent of their premiums like those of us in the private sector do. Oh wait; PS employees pay ALL of theirs.
go anti-Union Governor Walker! starve them communist teachers! notice how he discounts the polls that don't support the leftist position, then touts the ONE that does?
How do you idiots not understand that if Obama makes it in again, Our Country will most likely belong to China? What good is getting tax payers money beyond that of the private sector, WHICH IT IS, if the country goes down the tubes?
HEY Young Turks anyone who LIKES collective bargaining are either benefiting from it or DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY ARE BEING RIPPED OFF FROM IT. It might as be a poll on intelligence on the subject matter. GO WALKER; HE'S ON THE RIGHT SIDE - YOU ARE IDIOTS YOUNGTURKS
PART I OF Eleven: Even President Franklin Roosevelt, a friend of private-sector unionism, drew a line when it came to government workers: “Meticulous attention,” the president insisted in 1937, “should be paid to the special relations and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the Government….The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service.” (Continue to Part II)
PART II: The reason? F.D.R. believed that “[a] strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to obstruct the operations of government until their demands are satisfied. Such action looking toward the paralysis of government by those who have sworn to support it is unthinkable and intolerable.” Roosevelt was hardly alone in holding these views, even among the champions of organized labor. (Continue to Part III)
Part III: Indeed, the first president of the AFL-CIO, George Meany, believed it was “impossible to bargain collectively with the government.” In WI collective bargaining has earned well over $700K in Viagra & workers calling in sick, then coming in that day anyway to work in some other capacity, then collecting over-time pay. (Continue to Part IV)
PART IV: It seems that unions get politicians elected and the politicians have no qualms about paying off their supporters by granting them their demands, especially since the politician uses tax payer dollars to do so. Is it ok to bargain from both sides of the table? (Continue to Part V)
PART VI: By law the government can employ workers only on the terms negotiated by the union; it cannot hire non-union workers to do the job. That means the government must reach an agreement with the union to get anything done. The voters’ elected representatives do not have the final say.This gives unions enormous power over government budgets, which they use to get more of the budget spent on them: (Continue to Part VII)
PART VII● Collective bargaining is the reason taxpayers in Wisconsin cover almost all the cost of government pensions and 94 percent of government workers’ health-care premiums.● Collective bargaining is the reason most Wisconsin school districts buy health coverage from a company created by the Wisconsin Education Association — even though their premiums cost far more than competing carriers. (Continue to Part VIII)
PART VIII:● Collective bargaining is the reason Milwaukee Public Schools spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Viagra instead of on educating students.
If unions have the power to force government to hire on their terms, they have the power to press for more tax dollars. Unions might make concessions now, but tomorrow is another day. (Continue to Part IX)
PART IX: And if they keep their monopoly, unions may not make even concessions today. Wisconsin union leaders publicly insist they accept Governor Walker’s proposed increases in employee contributions, but it looks like their municipal locals didn’t get the memo — they are locking in contracts that make none of those changes. (Continue to Part X)
PART X: If collective-bargaining reform gets taken off the table, unions will go right back to demanding that taxpayers cough up more. Letting government unions keep their monopoly ties the hands of voters’ elected representatives and forces them to spend enough to keep the unions satisfied. (Continue to Part XI)
PART XI: Collective bargaining is all about taxpayers’ money. That is what government unions bargain for.— James Sherk is a senior policy analyst in labor economics in the Center for Data Analysis at the Heritage Foundation.
Germans are known to be conservative here in America when they build anything. Bush loves conservative catholic hispanics as well to bring down wages because of overflooded immigration. Does anyone see a trend anyone? Which group is actually being led into extreme socialism and don't even know it? Who really mimicks Hitler the most? Religious groups put strict policies to force more less socialism secretly on the state and local levels
The "Solidarity" is not so solid. The news is making it look like union supporters are coming together in a big way in all 50 states. But they are only showing footage from union strongholds such as Wisconsin, Chicago, and New York. The "50 state protest" had pathetic results in other places. I was there.
in the end the only thing the unions lost was the ability (not right because collective bargaining IS NOT a right) to negotiate their pensions.No one has lost their job. no one currently receiving a pension is getting cut.So.that being said.now is the time for those of you in the unions(and yes I am a union member not by choice) to reassess your finances and join the real world..the public tit has been sucked dry and now the onus fals on YOU to plan and pay for your retirement.Now it's your turn
I had a private sector job for many MANY years and it sucked, Very low wages, I was forced to work overtime for no pay and they forced retirement on me at age 45 because they did not want to pay my "HUGE" salary of 45k . Unions protect workers from having that same shit that happened to me. Anyone that does not agree woudl have worked well side by side next to Hitler.
@TheLittlelamb3 what the fuck are you talking about?..forced into retirement? how?..why?..if you were so dissatisfied with your pay and working conditions you had the option to look for a better job and quit..but no..you CHOSE to stay and then blame your employer...and please don't use that lame excuse.."there are no jobs out there"..bullshit..if you have to move the farthest ends of the country to improve your lot in life so be it..if you're not willing..shut the fuck up!!
Also: Unions defeated Communism in Eastern Europe in the late 1980s, and private unions were one of the first things the Nazis destroyed when they took power. Free societies invariably have strong unions.
@sutircomed Actually it was the Pope that defeated the communists.John Paul Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher together brought down the "EVIL EMPIRE"....Tehy were not nearly afraid Of Solidarity as the were the Holy Father..why do you think they tried to assassinate him?
A little right-wing caricature of unions shows us nothing about how unions have secured workers' rights and combated the worst excesses of capitalist exploitation (e.g., the old Robber Barons). Professional athletes, such as NFL players, form unions, so do firefighters, policemen, teachers, etc. Even hypocrites like Limbaugh and O'Reilly belong to the broadcasters union. Unions simply help workers to obtain better conditions and pay.
@sutircomed Limbaugh and O'Reilley are forced to join the union...the hypocrite is you who bashes capitalism yet reaps the rewards it bestows upon you..and by the way..we are not workers..we are employees members and associates...if you want to be a worker..go to communist China..They have workers..here we have individuals partaking in the greatest economic system know to man...CAPITALISM!!!
@chrycohauler The same system that has resulted in a massive global recession with millions losing their jobs, homes, healthcare, possessions ... ? Yeah, that's a great system. It may be the best of a few bad systems, but it still sucks ass.
@chrycohauler Did you mean "take this system OVER the redistributive ..."?? I assume so. Even a country as capitalistic as yours has income redistribution. It's what's funding your kids' educations (plural - I don't know if you've got kids or not). What's the alternative ... tell kids "sorry, you were unlucky enough to be born to poor parents, and we don't believe in redistribution, so it's a crappy education or none at all for you ... unless you can pay for it"?
@leizuoer your point holds a small amount of truth..my beef is not with taxes going for education..it's the end result of unionized teachers who work 180 days a year for full time wages and benefits..the solution is obvious..VOUCHERS..Teacher's union have done nothing but dumb down our kids..kids that can't read or puit a sentence together..teachers who incompetent and cower under the union blanket and don't want to be tested themselves as to their own abilities to teach.unions protect the lazy
@chrycohauler It's very important to emphasise ... unions. whether private or public, all protect some lazy people. But the vast majority of teachers aren't lazy bad ones. We've got a standardised national degree program for all teachers ... so only teachers that are qualified and competent actually become teachers // maybe you should try that? Anyway, the unions in Wisconsin aren't arguing with the cutbacks, they've accepted them. They are however against ending collective bargaining ...tbc
@leizuoer .... end collective bargaining and you end all workers rights to negotiate together for pay and conditions. It would take you back to the nineteenth century. Remember, the major capitalists, less than 100 years ago, had to be legislated against to get them to stop using child labour ... that's pretty disgraceful, but sadly true. How quickly would big companies destroy their employees' rights if you started chipping away further at protective measures like collective bargaining? Fast.
@sutircomed Unions were a still could be a positive force, the problem is they have over reached. The same problem with them is the one were seeing with corporations, they have bought the politicians and has caused our government to be nothing more than an illusion set up to help the elite.
Unbelieveable some of the hate-filled comments here on youtube against public employees...you know the people who keep you safe, put out fires, babysit and educate your kids day after day, fix and build roads, drive buses, operate trains, control airline traffic ... in other words, things you could never trust the private sector with because they'd cut costs at the risk of your safety... and THEY'RE the greedy ones? Fuck off! Turn your hatred on the white collar crooks who caused this recession
@leizuoer Seriously? Compare private sector schools to public schools and than talk about how bad it is. Private sector is better than public in almost every comparison. With that said, have we really come to the point that asking for someone to buy their own healthcare and retirement is heartless? Whats next? If I start saying teachers should have to feed and house their own families, is that taking it too far?
@Culture261 Yes, seriously. Private sector = Profit. Full stop. It's all they care about. Every public service that has ever been privatised in my country has been an unmitigated disaster. Price hikes, service cutbacks regardless of who is dependent on those services. Ordinary workers (public and private) didn't cause this recession, yet we have to pay for it at the same time as banks are being bailed out? There's government money for them but not for public servants?
@leizuoer Is profit turning into a curse word, will it start being referred to as the "P word"? If your expecting people to start buisnesses to help others out of the goodness of their heart, its a pipe dream. With that said you are correct that private sector is more expensive than public in some instances, but better in quality in all. I also agree that the stimulus and bailout money have been poorly spent.
@Culture261 No I don;t expect people to start businesses to help people, and no, there's nothing wrong with profit. However, when it is placed above the well-being of people or public safety then it is very wrong indeed. That's why we need a public sector, i.e. one that's not dependent on making surpluses to be divided among shareholders etc...
@sutircomed not likely..only in your diseased liberal mind will that happen.Madison is not the center of the universe in Wisconsin..People are sick and tired of whiny pusst union members feeling so hard done by..join the real world like the rest of you socialist pimp
Why do right-wingers hate firefighters, policemen, teachers, paramedics, and electricians so much?
Why do they kiss the asses of plutocrats such as the Koch brothers, who inherited their wealth from their daddy, who in turn built oil refineries for Stalin?
@sutircomed we don't hate them, we hate the union bosses that rape you for dues, protect the useless and lazy, indoctrinate your views, do not compensate on merit, use extortion tactics, protest on people private property (home), use thuggery,....I could really go on and on.
and why do you libs kiss Soros or Michael Moore, you know that fat man that DENIES union work on his films! You know, that same man protesting with you - LOL
@sutircomed You are a fool if you think right-wingers hate firefighters, policemen, teachers, paramedics, and electricians. If you had a clue you would know that most right winger have never heard of the Koch brothers.
If you knew anything about history you would know that there was this thing called World War II and durring the war Stalin was an allie of the USA.
@sutircomed Read my Part 1 to Part 11 post and you will understand reality, perhaps for the first time. Hating unions is not hating the worker. Pay for performance is the way to go; not collective bargaining which has cost tax payers thousands for Viagra instead of education; I list a host of other collective bargaining abuses... compete like the private sector does..
Collective bargaining is the reason Milwaukee Public Schools spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Viagra instead of on educating students.
If unions have the power to force government to hire on their terms, they have the power to press for more tax dollars. Unions might make concessions now, but tomorrow is another day.
YoungTurks you need to quit your job; you don't have the education talk about what you're talking about. Collective bargaining is the reason taxpayers in Wisconsin cover almost all the cost of government pensions and 94 percent of government workers’ health-care premiums.● Collective bargaining is the reason most Wisconsin school districts buy health coverage from a company created by the Wisconsin Education Association — even though their premiums cost far more than competing carriers.
USAToday analysis published Tuesday, which is based on Bureau of Economic Analysis data, shows that public-employees in Wisconsin earn about $2,000 more in salary and benefits than their private-sector counterparts.
Read more on Newsmax.com: Outrage: Government Workers Earn Up to $18,000 More Than Private Sector Counterparts
Important: Do You Support Pres. Obama's Re-Election? Vote Here Now!
HEY IDIOT YOUNG TURKS, IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, THE MORE $ THE GOV GETS, THE MORE THEY SPEND, THEY DON'T USE IT TO PAY OFF DEBT. DID YOU NOTICE HOW MUCH THE GOV WASTES OUR MONEY; RAISING TAXES DOESN'T HELP THE ECONOMY, NOT WHEN MORONS JUST SPEND IT AGAIN ON BULLSHIT... CUT TAXES LIMIT MONEY GOING IN TO GOV AND YOU FORCE GOV TO STOP SPENDING WHICH IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL HELP OUR COUNTRY MORONS
Bullshit. The people do not support public sector unions. They are completely different than private sector employees, but public sector parasites are now trying to disguise themselves as "working people".
Where were all these teachers and university employees, who loved to proclaim how great nafta and free trade are, while driving Toyotas, during the last decade when 42k factories closed in the US?
If you are a private sector worker and support these parasites you are a fool!
@EconCat88 "the people do not support public sector unions"
March 2, 2011
The Wall Street Journal -
"Americans strongly oppose efforts to strip unionized government workers of their rights to collectively bargain the latest Wall Street Journal poll shows. Eliminating collective bargaining rights for public-sector workers over health care, pensions or other benefits would be either “mostly unacceptable” or “totally unacceptable,” 62% of those surveyed said. Only 33% support such limits."
@Lodatzor How is Fox stealing my money? Please explain. BTW I usually only watch Neil Cavuto on Fox....and he lies all the time about stocks and what the dow actually closes at, LOL
@Lodatzor did I misread something? I find myself to be quite thorough, considering I did very well this past year in the stock market. You know, that thing that rich people use to make more money cause we are so greedy.
So who is stealing my money? Besides unions, NPR, ACORN, the IRS, people on welfare,......
You gloriously highlight my point for me, and fail to even realize it. :D
Yes, you did indeed misread. I suggest retuning to the comment, reading it, and then comparing its assertion with your response. You'll find they are incompatible.
Though, I think you did ion purpose merely to distract from the fact that you had no rebuttal. ;)
"I did very well this past year in the stock market."
Good for you. Gambling is a skill, for realz, yo. ;)
Of course it's gambling. That's exactly what speculation is, with the added kicker in the financial sector of being able to partly rig the game. So, not only are you a gambler, but also a crooked gambler. If you do not understand this then you are a very silly person. :)
@Lodatzor first off, sarcasm in type is not easy to detect. Without vocal tone, it's difficult to detect.
It's not gambling if you conduct research. When I bought 3COM many years ago, I found out that Palm was diverting funds and just a few month later, 3COM and PALM split and I had double shares.
How am I crooked? For doing research? For playing by the rules, legally, but reading the Wall Street Journal on a regular basis, for looking up stock movements? ...you suffer from wealth envy.
"sarcasm in type is not easy to detect. Without vocal tone, it's difficult to detect."
Yeah, that sudden change in use of vocabulary and spelling acumen, coupled with the fact that I even used a winking emoticon meant nothing at all. ;) Trolly-troll troll-boy.
"it's not gambling if you conduct research."
Yes it iiiiis. :) Why? Because you are speculating on what will happen based upon your estimations of the situation, and what you can ENSURE happens by negotiating. :)
@Lodatzor Yes, believing that Unions shouldnt tax us to death is an exact cause to oxygen taxes. Even if so Ill use the money I saved on taxes and pay for my oxygen, probably still come out better.
No, it's more the fact that you think having unions = being taxed to death.
Unfortunately you fail to realize that you are already being taxed to death by the private sector; being forced to pay whatever prices are set for you by people against whom you have no recourse, no authority and no avenue for reparation.
Eventually some company will engineer the right to charge you for the air you breathe, because you were too stupid to realize that you gave up your only tool to stop it.
Yeah, because everyone hated fire-fighters, policemen, sewage workers, land surveyors, teachers and other public union-driven sectors before Fox News started smearing them at the behest of their billionaire investors.
I actually think the minimum wage should be a bit higher (with an exception for part time teenagers).
Why? Because I am a Christian. It is not possible to raise a family on min. wage. I don't want the bad karma of taking advantage of a soft labor market ...paying desperate people a wage that barely keeps food on the table.
I have family in Germany. They have a strong industrial economy..pay their workers well (with a few exceptions. If Germany can do it, America can too.
@givethemahand Germany? LOL!! They've been running double digit employment for decades. Germany is a failed country. It'll be under sharia law in 2o years when the muzzies take over.
"While the American labor force struggles with nearly 10 percent unemployment, Germany's most recent figure of 7.6 percent unemployment signals more good news for the largest economy in Europe":
"Germans have something to honk about. Germany's economy is the strongest in the world...ts 7.5 percent unemployment rate - two percentage points below ours - is lower than at any time since right after reunification. Growth is robust, and real wages are rising."
@nfwvideo1 "would u as a business owner want to get rid of the minimum wage?
My Grandfather owned a large and successful farm. He said if you "pay you guys a little more, you get better guys". I didn't listen to him.. and was a cheap skate at first, in my own business. Then In the early 90's I started paying a bit above the going rate. The quality of my crew went up and they worked harder for me than when I was paying them low dollar. I wish I would have figured that out sooner.
@nfwvideo1 It's true that "Congress shall make no law" regarding religion. But that does not mean the American people will accept it. It does not mean you will not be regarded with derision and suspicion. You are free to choose whatever religion you like, and the American people are free to hate it.
Reading comments like those from DarrelfromZeeland is like reading a script from a corporatist infomercial. It's all predictable, leaves you feeling icky, and you walk away certain they're selling nothing but swampland.
@DarrelfromZeeland.....I've read your channel. The things you describe there is what is happening now in North Korea, Cuba or wherever. So if that is what YOU want, YOU go to North Korea, Cuba or wherever, because you certainly are Not a patriot.
You say you wipe your ass with the Koran, but in reality you are wiping your ass with the Constitution.
can you imagine the wording of the poll this sandnigger communist came up with??
" should the rich fat cat scott walker cancel bargaining rights for the impoverished unions thereby starving the children of the union workers or not??"
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel "can you imagine the wording of the poll this sandnigger communist came up with??"
You might find this interesting:
"Americans strongly oppose efforts to strip unionized government workers of their rights to collectively bargain, even as they want public employees to contribute more money to their retirement and health-care benefits, the latest Wall Street Journal poll shows."
"Eliminating collective bargaining rights for public-sector workers over health care, pensions or other benefits would be either “mostly unacceptable” or “totally unacceptable,” 62% of those surveyed said. Only 33% support such limits".
" should the rich fat cat scott walker cancel bargaining rights for the impoverished unions thereby starving the children of the union workers or not??"
" should the rich fat cat scott walker cancel bargaining rights for the impoverished unions thereby starving the children of the union workers or not??"
sorry comrade, you dont have a lock on the media anymore thanks to FOX and the internet.
the american people know that walker doesnt want to eliminate coll bargaining for WAGES but for other things
There you go again, citing those facts. Do you not realize how mean you are being to the poor monkey you're debating with? How dare you actually apply reality to anything. Shame on you, you elitist thug.
the republican strategy has been simple. crush the private middle class worker, reducing benefits, stagnating wages, and then turn them on public middle class workers who haven't lost as much. i remember when i first moved to the us one income families existed, one wage earner was enough to pay for housing, save for education, food, health and retirement. as the us lost competitiveness, corporations protected their profits by crushing employees. divide the people, corporatist fascism will reign.
promise everything to everybody especially gov unions.
give sweet heart deals paid for by sucking the life from the private sector to UNION commie thugs and get a campaign kickback election time. hire a bunch of paperpushers who have their jobs because of the democommies and so vote their way and the few crumbs that are left are spat in the direction of welfare recipients who also vote democommie,and illegal aliens and criminals too
Well it's good to see that at least a good number of Americans aren't willing to trade tyrannical gov. for tyrannical corporations. People don't seem to understand that limiting government does not mean we shouold give all the power to corporations. There needs to be a balance. Not to mention the repub say they don't want gov. intrusion, but have no problem intruding on the publics individual rights. They only want gov out of big business, not out of our personal lives.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel No you got that totally wrong. A corporation "has" to make a the cheapest product possible to ensure the most money for themselves. If they aren't regulated by the gov. then you start getting hazardous work conditions hazardous consumer products and/or hazardous toys. A corporation that decides its own safety standards will put money before the safety of the employee and the consumer. Sweatshops and toxic toys.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So you think the courts couldn't be bought out, by the corporations if the government isn't regulating them? You have much faith in the justice system. Notice how many CEOs and politicians commit big crimes and don't actually go to jail, compared to how easy all the "little" people go to jail for petty crimes. Money is the power and corporations have most of it. Especially since most people refuse to realize; those in power only have it so long as we allow them to have it.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel I think you have just made an assertion that is unsubstanitated. Commie? Grow up. I think anyone with too much power is at risk of being corrupt. I think that there should be a balance of power between the two. Neither is capable of true self regulation and it is the job of the people to hold them accountable, but the problem is that the people are too damn lazy or care about stupid celebs too much. Staunch loyalty to either group is naive.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Who said the government knows best. Again you claim I think a certain way and have no basis for it. I think the people can know what is best for them, before someone in power. Let alone with lobbyists, ie corporations, have the money to influence that power.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You call people commies too easily. I am a former soldier and right now my wife, who is in the ARMY is deployed to Afghanistan. Now what you are talking about before you make those kinds of assertions.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Wow Aren't you the silly little troll who lets people think for them. I suppose you are the patriotic one calling people who don't agree with you commies. I assume that you don't like any foreigners either. You stand for nothing of substance. You just want others to think for you while you shout U.S.A. You are just parroting a bunch of BS you read or heard somewhere. Use your brain for once and you'd see that WE have the real power if people would just use it for once.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So you decrease the government and then who fills the power gap created? Corporations that is who you are supporting as a Republican. I'm a fiscal conservative. I believe in limited government not crippled government. Most of the republicna "representatives" today are bought off by lobbyists. They don't have the people's interests in mind. They give tax breaks to the wealthy and some of which don't even pat taxes, ie. BOA, yet when we have financial problems they screw us.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Please don't be so naive. You think they aren't taking checks from tobacco companies? Or oil companies. You know if you only pay attention to one side of the argument you will almost always be mislead. As for the corporations. there should be incentives to keep their money here. Not a free for all standard. They are telling you "Give me everything I want or I'll leave." You then just gave someone power over you. So much for not giving power to anyone. Gullible much?
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You keep calling me a socialist. Explain to me what that entails? I bet you can't without looking like either a hypocrite or a dumbass. You are just some idiot that missed history too many times. If you call everyone who disagrees with you a "red" then you diminish the sacrifice of those that actually fought communists. Nice way to pay tribute to those that kept you from being a red yourself.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Freedom of what? Freedom to be controlled? If not by the government, then by those with money? Which nowadays there isn't much difference. So you call me a red, even though I said over and OVER again the I don't trust the government anymore than the corporations. You just follow the Corp. blindly. You hold them to a level of incorruptabliilty.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You clearly missed the context of what I was saying. The coporations own the politicians through the money that they give for their campaigns. LOL It was quite clear. I don't trust the government so long as corporations have their money in our representatives pockets. Let me ask you. How are the people supposed to fill the gap of power if the government were to fade? The government is accountable to the people, so long as we utilize that power. THE CORPORATIONS are NOT.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel If we were to suddenly diminish the government and started to try to hold the corporations accountable through some imagined power, even under your own logic, all they would have to do is threaten to leave us high and dry. How do we have the power then if we don't have it now? You think the government takes away our power over the corporations? That is asinine. They are supposed to represent our interests and act on them. Though that has proven to be crippled lately.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So how do you account for corporations that involve necessary needs. ie food drugs and healthcare? Who holds them accountable and prevents them from having monopolies and charging outragous nearly unaffordable prices for things we have no choice but to buy? How do you boycott things you need. Yeah that'll show them. We'll starve ourselves to death or die from preventable illnesses.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You claim that I have a nationality beyond America. Why? Where do you get this? Nowhere. You are as dumb as your ideology. Who enforces the illegal monopolies? The very government you say shouldn't involve itself in corporations. Ever heard of corporate takeovers? Dumbass. "The government shouldn't regulate the corporations, but the government makes it illegal to have monopolies." ROFL. You paint yourself in the idiot corner and wear a dunce cap.
1) no , i claim you arent an american because you would support freedom if you were
2) teddy roosevelt first stopped monopolies
3) corporate takeovers are the VOLUNTARY sale of stock
4) the gov should regulate monopolies, it shouldnt tell them what to do as comrade obama did as a senator when he and the democommies forced banks to make unsound loans
5) go back to moscow or havana or wherever you come from
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Freedom from what? Again you give no example. Are you a corporate shill? You fight like one. I have fought and my wife is fighting right now for your freedom to be an idiot. If it weren't for us you'd be speaking another language that you seem to despise. Corporate takeovers are not always voluntary. Dumbass. Ever heard of Hostile takeovers? Born and raise in America thank you. And proud of it, but I would be more proud of it if people like you weren't in it.
1) freedom from communism,socialism,marxism,etc..
2) i dont work for a corp but obviously you are a gov shill, i believe in freedom for all
3) hostile?? so what, if the stocks are on sale there is no such thing as an illegal sale unlike gov confiscation.it is hostile to the company that doesnt want to be taken over. are you a pro business guy now
4) AGAIN!! if the stocks are for sale all sales are voluntary.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel What does that actually entail? I am pro business and pro government. I want both to succeed, but not letting them forget who they are responible to. The citizens. The hostile takeover becomes illegal if doing so creates a monopoly. Again. Who stops them from doing so in your "Defeated Government" world? Who holds them accountable? No one. They'll just threaten to leave like you already said they would. Then who holds us together when we aren't producing anything?
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel It doesn't matter how old the laws are. you are trying to cripple the government's ability to enforce the very laws you condone. You want change? Call for reform of the structure not the abolishment of the body. You want to prevent the government from doing the very thing you want it to do. You are only fighting yourself on this.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Who said laws shouldn't be obeyed? You just assume that because there are laws there that people will automatiucally follow them. HA! The laws are there as a standard for ethical behavior. Only when they are broken will it matter, but the problem is that you want to diminish governments ability to enforce the laws. ie. Enact justice when the laws are broken.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You diminish ANY part of the oversight and corruption reigns. We see that now. The final oversight commitee, the American people, are too busy concerned with celebs to really care what the government on either political side is doing. Except for a selct few that have a couch potato support of them.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel AGAIN:!!!!! What does it matter how old the laws are. You want to limit the government's ability to use that oversight to keep the other branches in check. On one hand you sound like you like the way government IS, but just don't want the certain politicians in office, but on the other hand you are railing against the government and want the corporations, by default, to have all the power.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Not only do they care only for their bottomline, but they don't care about the people who make their bottomline even possible. They make people like you care about BS politics to make sure you don't care that they are scewing you in the long run.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel If you don't like the representatives that you have. Don't just bitch; Vote. That is the real democratic process, but if your candidate don't blame the system. That is DEMOCRACY. "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find . You get what you need.!" Good words to live by. You may not always get what you want, but as long as you stand up for what is right, you'll get what you need.
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel No! Don't hide now. I don't think that the voting system is tyranny of the masses. I think voting on INALIENABLE rights is the tyranny. Your precious repubs were voted in on jobs. How much time have they actually spent on jobs? If you are all about following through on reform of the way government handles corporations then tell me how satisfied are you on their JOBS building? They've spent more time on useless social issues to get you pumped and voting for them. Not on jobs
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You are a conundrum. Not only are you racist, but you SEEM to support the system we have, yet you rail against it like you have a vested interest in fighting it. Is it as simple as Obama is black? I know you are trolling mostly, but you seem to have something to say and something you are trying to figure out. Almost. That is the only reason I have continued this conversation. What is you number one fear?
No to public unions, yes to private....corporations are the problem,remember.

Coporations actually earn their money through the willful exchange of commerce by creating things for which there is a demand, such as cars, computers, medical equipment, prescription medicines, etc. They don't get taxpayer money like these parasites do.
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART II: The reason? F.D.R. believed that “[a] strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to obstruct the operations of government until their demands are satisfied. Such action looking toward the paralysis of government by those who have sworn to support it is unthinkable and intolerable.” Roosevelt was hardly alone in holding these views, even among the champions of organized labor. (Continue to Part III)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
Part III: Indeed, the first president of the AFL-CIO, George Meany, believed it was “impossible to bargain collectively with the government.” In WI collective bargaining has earned well over $700K in Viagra & workers calling in sick, then coming in that day anyway to work in some other capacity, then collecting over-time pay. (Continue to Part IV)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART IV: It seems that unions get politicians elected and the politicians have no qualms about paying off their supporters by granting them their demands, especially since the politician uses tax payer dollars to do so. Is it ok to bargain from both sides of the table? (Continue to Part V)

PART V: What Collective Bargaining Gets You By James Sherk
When someone says, “It’s not about the money,” you know it’s about the money.
Unions in Madison insist that their protests are really about collective bargaining. But collective bargaining is about the money.
Collective bargaining gives a public-sector union a monopoly over the government’s workforce. (Continue to Part VI)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART VI: By law the government can employ workers only on the terms negotiated by the union; it cannot hire non-union workers to do the job. That means the government must reach an agreement with the union to get anything done. The voters’ elected representatives do not have the final say.This gives unions enormous power over government budgets, which they use to get more of the budget spent on them: (Continue to Part VII)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART VII● Collective bargaining is the reason taxpayers in Wisconsin cover almost all the cost of government pensions and 94 percent of government workers’ health-care premiums.● Collective bargaining is the reason most Wisconsin school districts buy health coverage from a company created by the Wisconsin Education Association — even though their premiums cost far more than competing carriers. (Continue to Part VIII)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART VIII:● Collective bargaining is the reason Milwaukee Public Schools spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Viagra instead of on educating students.
If unions have the power to force government to hire on their terms, they have the power to press for more tax dollars. Unions might make concessions now, but tomorrow is another day. (Continue to Part IX)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART IX: And if they keep their monopoly, unions may not make even concessions today. Wisconsin union leaders publicly insist they accept Governor Walker’s proposed increases in employee contributions, but it looks like their municipal locals didn’t get the memo — they are locking in contracts that make none of those changes. (Continue to Part X)
WingThaiJ 10 months ago
PART X: If collective-bargaining reform gets taken off the table, unions will go right back to demanding that taxpayers cough up more. Letting government unions keep their monopoly ties the hands of voters’ elected representatives and forces them to spend enough to keep the unions satisfied. (Continue to Part XI)

Unions simply help workers to obtain better conditions and pay.
sutircomed 11 months ago
@sutircomed Limbaugh and O'Reilley are forced to join the union...the hypocrite is you who bashes capitalism yet reaps the rewards it bestows upon you..and by the way..we are not workers..we are employees members and associates...if you want to be a worker..go to communist China..They have workers..here we have individuals partaking in the greatest economic system know to man...CAPITALISM!!!

leizuoer 11 months ago
@leizuoer There is no perfect system but I will take this system of the redistributive policies of any socialist country.
chrycohauler 11 months ago
@chrycohauler Did you mean "take this system OVER the redistributive ..."?? I assume so. Even a country as capitalistic as yours has income redistribution. It's what's funding your kids' educations (plural - I don't know if you've got kids or not). What's the alternative ... tell kids "sorry, you were unlucky enough to be born to poor parents, and we don't believe in redistribution, so it's a crappy education or none at all for you ... unless you can pay for it"?
leizuoer 11 months ago
@leizuoer your point holds a small amount of truth..my beef is not with taxes going for education..it's the end result of unionized teachers who work 180 days a year for full time wages and benefits..the solution is obvious..VOUCHERS..Teacher's union have done nothing but dumb down our kids..kids that can't read or puit a sentence together..teachers who incompetent and cower under the union blanket and don't want to be tested themselves as to their own abilities to teach.unions protect the lazy
chrycohauler 11 months ago
@chrycohauler It's very important to emphasise ... unions. whether private or public, all protect some lazy people. But the vast majority of teachers aren't lazy bad ones. We've got a standardised national degree program for all teachers ... so only teachers that are qualified and competent actually become teachers // maybe you should try that? Anyway, the unions in Wisconsin aren't arguing with the cutbacks, they've accepted them. They are however against ending collective bargaining ...tbc
leizuoer 11 months ago
@leizuoer .... end collective bargaining and you end all workers rights to negotiate together for pay and conditions. It would take you back to the nineteenth century. Remember, the major capitalists, less than 100 years ago, had to be legislated against to get them to stop using child labour ... that's pretty disgraceful, but sadly true. How quickly would big companies destroy their employees' rights if you started chipping away further at protective measures like collective bargaining? Fast.
leizuoer 11 months ago
@sutircomed Unions were a still could be a positive force, the problem is they have over reached. The same problem with them is the one were seeing with corporations, they have bought the politicians and has caused our government to be nothing more than an illusion set up to help the elite.

Fuck off! Turn your hatred on the white collar crooks who caused this recession
leizuoer 11 months ago
@leizuoer Seriously? Compare private sector schools to public schools and than talk about how bad it is. Private sector is better than public in almost every comparison. With that said, have we really come to the point that asking for someone to buy their own healthcare and retirement is heartless? Whats next? If I start saying teachers should have to feed and house their own families, is that taking it too far?
Culture261 11 months ago
@Culture261 Yes, seriously. Private sector = Profit. Full stop. It's all they care about. Every public service that has ever been privatised in my country has been an unmitigated disaster. Price hikes, service cutbacks regardless of who is dependent on those services. Ordinary workers (public and private) didn't cause this recession, yet we have to pay for it at the same time as banks are being bailed out? There's government money for them but not for public servants?
leizuoer 11 months ago
@leizuoer Is profit turning into a curse word, will it start being referred to as the "P word"? If your expecting people to start buisnesses to help others out of the goodness of their heart, its a pipe dream. With that said you are correct that private sector is more expensive than public in some instances, but better in quality in all. I also agree that the stimulus and bailout money have been poorly spent.
Culture261 11 months ago
@Culture261 No I don;t expect people to start businesses to help people, and no, there's nothing wrong with profit. However, when it is placed above the well-being of people or public safety then it is very wrong indeed. That's why we need a public sector, i.e. one that's not dependent on making surpluses to be divided among shareholders etc...

The Wall Street Journal !
Of-course WSJ are well know communists. (sarcasm)
givethemahand 11 months ago
@givethemahand
except that isnt the issue, they can still bargain wages but not merit pay or dumping incompetents comrade!!
and the american people are for that!!
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel
03/02/11
The Wall Street Journal:
"Eliminating collective bargaining rights for public-sector workers over health care, pensions or other benefits would be either “mostly unacceptable” or “totally unacceptable,” 62% of those surveyed said. Only 33% support such limits".

sorry comrade, you dont have a lock on the media anymore thanks to FOX and the internet.
the american people know that walker doesnt want to eliminate coll bargaining for WAGES but for other things
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@givethemahand
There you go again, citing those facts. Do you not realize how mean you are being to the poor monkey you're debating with? How dare you actually apply reality to anything. Shame on you, you elitist thug.
Lodatzor 11 months ago
the republican strategy has been simple. crush the private middle class worker, reducing benefits, stagnating wages, and then turn them on public middle class workers who haven't lost as much. i remember when i first moved to the us one income families existed, one wage earner was enough to pay for housing, save for education, food, health and retirement. as the us lost competitiveness, corporations protected their profits by crushing employees. divide the people, corporatist fascism will reign.
tyrannosaurusinf14 11 months ago 2
@tyrannosaurusinf14
THE DEMOCOMMIE STRATEGY is simple.
promise everything to everybody especially gov unions.
give sweet heart deals paid for by sucking the life from the private sector to UNION commie thugs and get a campaign kickback election time. hire a bunch of paperpushers who have their jobs because of the democommies and so vote their way and the few crumbs that are left are spat in the direction of welfare recipients who also vote democommie,and illegal aliens and criminals too
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
yeah, like the sandnigger communist cenk is going to tell the truth!!
LOL!!LOL!!
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
Well it's good to see that at least a good number of Americans aren't willing to trade tyrannical gov. for tyrannical corporations. People don't seem to understand that limiting government does not mean we shouold give all the power to corporations. There needs to be a balance. Not to mention the repub say they don't want gov. intrusion, but have no problem intruding on the publics individual rights. They only want gov out of big business, not out of our personal lives.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
why not??
a corporation has to make a good product while inept gov. simply jacks up taxes
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel
Name one federal tax increase that has occurred in your lifetime.
Lodatzor 11 months ago
@Lodatzor
is that a joke??
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel
No. It's a simple request.
Lodatzor 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel No you got that totally wrong. A corporation "has" to make a the cheapest product possible to ensure the most money for themselves. If they aren't regulated by the gov. then you start getting hazardous work conditions hazardous consumer products and/or hazardous toys. A corporation that decides its own safety standards will put money before the safety of the employee and the consumer. Sweatshops and toxic toys.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
that is what the courts are for, comrade!!
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So you think the courts couldn't be bought out, by the corporations if the government isn't regulating them? You have much faith in the justice system. Notice how many CEOs and politicians commit big crimes and don't actually go to jail, compared to how easy all the "little" people go to jail for petty crimes. Money is the power and corporations have most of it. Especially since most people refuse to realize; those in power only have it so long as we allow them to have it.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
no,because of the jury system.
PS why is it that you commies think that government isnt corrupt as well as any other group??
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel I think you have just made an assertion that is unsubstanitated. Commie? Grow up. I think anyone with too much power is at risk of being corrupt. I think that there should be a balance of power between the two. Neither is capable of true self regulation and it is the job of the people to hold them accountable, but the problem is that the people are too damn lazy or care about stupid celebs too much. Staunch loyalty to either group is naive.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
the gov knows best??
GROW UP!!
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Who said the government knows best. Again you claim I think a certain way and have no basis for it. I think the people can know what is best for them, before someone in power. Let alone with lobbyists, ie corporations, have the money to influence that power.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You call people commies too easily. I am a former soldier and right now my wife, who is in the ARMY is deployed to Afghanistan. Now what you are talking about before you make those kinds of assertions.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
yeah sure, you reds are all patriotic soldiers
LOL!! LOL!!!
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Wow Aren't you the silly little troll who lets people think for them. I suppose you are the patriotic one calling people who don't agree with you commies. I assume that you don't like any foreigners either. You stand for nothing of substance. You just want others to think for you while you shout U.S.A. You are just parroting a bunch of BS you read or heard somewhere. Use your brain for once and you'd see that WE have the real power if people would just use it for once.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
i dont believe in giving power to anyone, that is why i am a republican.
stop letting gov think for you and grow up
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So you decrease the government and then who fills the power gap created? Corporations that is who you are supporting as a Republican. I'm a fiscal conservative. I believe in limited government not crippled government. Most of the republicna "representatives" today are bought off by lobbyists. They don't have the people's interests in mind. They give tax breaks to the wealthy and some of which don't even pat taxes, ie. BOA, yet when we have financial problems they screw us.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
1)the people fill the gap and the y dont or wont get bailouts
2) the republican position and tea party support low gov, not corporations
3) can you prove a payoff as we can prove the democommie payoffs from unions??
4) "give" tax breaks?? so according to reds like you, we should "soak"the rich??
did it ever occur to you that if you squeeze they take their money and leave?
i guess you are like michael moore, private property doesnt exist??
that red fuck doesnt give away his cash
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Please don't be so naive. You think they aren't taking checks from tobacco companies? Or oil companies. You know if you only pay attention to one side of the argument you will almost always be mislead. As for the corporations. there should be incentives to keep their money here. Not a free for all standard. They are telling you "Give me everything I want or I'll leave." You then just gave someone power over you. So much for not giving power to anyone. Gullible much?
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
so you say, but we peoved tat democommies payoff unions for sweetheart deals
no, they are saying we will run businesses where we can make a profit, COMRADE!!
PS if your socialism worked then ronald reagan wouldnt have bitchslapped the USSR out of existence
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You keep calling me a socialist. Explain to me what that entails? I bet you can't without looking like either a hypocrite or a dumbass. You are just some idiot that missed history too many times. If you call everyone who disagrees with you a "red" then you diminish the sacrifice of those that actually fought communists. Nice way to pay tribute to those that kept you from being a red yourself.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
a socialist believes in extensive gov control of economy
1) i dont , i call reds, red
2) i pay tribute to those by advocating freedom
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Freedom of what? Freedom to be controlled? If not by the government, then by those with money? Which nowadays there isn't much difference. So you call me a red, even though I said over and OVER again the I don't trust the government anymore than the corporations. You just follow the Corp. blindly. You hold them to a level of incorruptabliilty.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
funny, the gov has more money than anyone, glad to see you agree with me
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You clearly missed the context of what I was saying. The coporations own the politicians through the money that they give for their campaigns. LOL It was quite clear. I don't trust the government so long as corporations have their money in our representatives pockets. Let me ask you. How are the people supposed to fill the gap of power if the government were to fade? The government is accountable to the people, so long as we utilize that power. THE CORPORATIONS are NOT.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel If we were to suddenly diminish the government and started to try to hold the corporations accountable through some imagined power, even under your own logic, all they would have to do is threaten to leave us high and dry. How do we have the power then if we don't have it now? You think the government takes away our power over the corporations? That is asinine. They are supposed to represent our interests and act on them. Though that has proven to be crippled lately.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
i dont trust anyone , that is the point.
defund the red gov !!
as for corporations, they have to make a profit or die, if they screw with people, then no one buys and they die.
a profit motive makes a corporation alot more honest than a government
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel So how do you account for corporations that involve necessary needs. ie food drugs and healthcare? Who holds them accountable and prevents them from having monopolies and charging outragous nearly unaffordable prices for things we have no choice but to buy? How do you boycott things you need. Yeah that'll show them. We'll starve ourselves to death or die from preventable illnesses.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
1) is that a joke??
if a corp charges too much then competition enters the game lowering costs
2) there are no monopolies , comrade rretard, they are illegal
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You claim that I have a nationality beyond America. Why? Where do you get this? Nowhere. You are as dumb as your ideology. Who enforces the illegal monopolies? The very government you say shouldn't involve itself in corporations. Ever heard of corporate takeovers? Dumbass. "The government shouldn't regulate the corporations, but the government makes it illegal to have monopolies." ROFL. You paint yourself in the idiot corner and wear a dunce cap.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
5) go back to moscow or havana or wherever you come from
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Freedom from what? Again you give no example. Are you a corporate shill? You fight like one. I have fought and my wife is fighting right now for your freedom to be an idiot. If it weren't for us you'd be speaking another language that you seem to despise. Corporate takeovers are not always voluntary. Dumbass. Ever heard of Hostile takeovers? Born and raise in America thank you. And proud of it, but I would be more proud of it if people like you weren't in it.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel What does that actually entail? I am pro business and pro government. I want both to succeed, but not letting them forget who they are responible to. The citizens. The hostile takeover becomes illegal if doing so creates a monopoly. Again. Who stops them from doing so in your "Defeated Government" world? Who holds them accountable? No one. They'll just threaten to leave like you already said they would. Then who holds us together when we aren't producing anything?
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
i am pro freedom
1) the gov stops monpolies, the laws are 100 years old
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel It doesn't matter how old the laws are. you are trying to cripple the government's ability to enforce the very laws you condone. You want change? Call for reform of the structure not the abolishment of the body. You want to prevent the government from doing the very thing you want it to do. You are only fighting yourself on this.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
so, laws arent to be obeyed??
then what good are they?? COMRADE??
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Who said laws shouldn't be obeyed? You just assume that because there are laws there that people will automatiucally follow them. HA! The laws are there as a standard for ethical behavior. Only when they are broken will it matter, but the problem is that you want to diminish governments ability to enforce the laws. ie. Enact justice when the laws are broken.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You diminish ANY part of the oversight and corruption reigns. We see that now. The final oversight commitee, the American people, are too busy concerned with celebs to really care what the government on either political side is doing. Except for a selct few that have a couch potato support of them.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79
oversight is different from control.
the antitrust laws and labor relation laws were enacted along time ago.
AGAIN:!!! comrade obama enacted laws FORCING banks to make unsound loans
ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel AGAIN:!!!!! What does it matter how old the laws are. You want to limit the government's ability to use that oversight to keep the other branches in check. On one hand you sound like you like the way government IS, but just don't want the certain politicians in office, but on the other hand you are railing against the government and want the corporations, by default, to have all the power.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@Thayer79

ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Not only do they care only for their bottomline, but they don't care about the people who make their bottomline even possible. They make people like you care about BS politics to make sure you don't care that they are scewing you in the long run.
Thayer79 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel If you don't like the representatives that you have. Don't just bitch; Vote. That is the real democratic process, but if your candidate don't blame the system. That is DEMOCRACY. "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find . You get what you need.!" Good words to live by. You may not always get what you want, but as long as you stand up for what is right, you'll get what you need.

ObamaIsAMarxistTowel 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel No! Don't hide now. I don't think that the voting system is tyranny of the masses. I think voting on INALIENABLE rights is the tyranny. Your precious repubs were voted in on jobs. How much time have they actually spent on jobs? If you are all about following through on reform of the way government handles corporations then tell me how satisfied are you on their JOBS building? They've spent more time on useless social issues to get you pumped and voting for them. Not on jobs
Thayer79 11 months ago
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You are a conundrum. Not only are you racist, but you SEEM to support the system we have, yet you rail against it like you have a vested interest in fighting it. Is it as simple as Obama is black? I know you are trolling mostly, but you seem to have something to say and something you are trying to figure out. Almost. That is the only reason I have continued this conversation. What is you number one fear?
