People I Really like LP and admire Chester as a singer , BUT he is NOT perfect live ... you're probably tone def but he doesn't hit properly 30% of the notes ... the funny thing is , that these notes are in verses ... and verse is pretty easy , that's funny cuz he hits high notes pretty good ... maybe he is tired ... but he sounds like this in a lot of shows ... so being tired is a lousy excuse ! Out of everything in this Genre along with the radio friendly stuff. i have to say this is one of my favorite bands. they can actually play what they write live.(Usually in other bands the vocals suck but the rest is on key, seriously some bands seem like the singer doesn't practice... ever.)
