  • AKA: TGS-1 I had one of these back in the day. It was a nice piece.

  • Uller, uller, uller......... uller.

  • This guys must have about 3 Lowrey spinet organs? I have 6 organs as I have a bid for another organ. Lowrey Contempo 80, Hammond T series (Last one manufactured), Wersi Prisma DX-5, Thomas Eldorado 792, Wurlitzer Omni 6500 keyboard computer. (Professional combo organ) Sears Galaxy (Same as the Thomas Keyboard Combo)

  • I collect Lowrey organs & have around 20 including three 'full size' console models. I also have two full size WurliTzers, a Full size Hammond & various others.

  • Do not think ol Blue Eyes would have sung it quite like this, but yours is a great version. It sounds fantastic. purchased a Lowrey Serenade, and am so happy, Ihave had lots of music training various instruments, including accordion, close as I come to organ. The Easy Buttons are my saving grace. But I sure do admire someone with your talent who can skip all that. I am going to tell my fellow classmates at Lowrey Fletcher Music they should tune in to this clip. It is inspirational!!!!!

  • Glad you noticed that I don't use any auto features or chord techniques. Both hands & pedals are played from the music.

  • Hi, is that the d300 you are playing there?

I recently got given one of those (or one that looks just like it :p) and i was looking for the exact make so i can get the manuals and stuff.

    They're great aren't they? :D

  • Yes, it is a D300 Orchestral Holiday.

    Richard

  • Awesome! That's a help.

Erm, one more question if you dont mind 0:)

What does the A.O.C button do? I don't think mine works, but it's hard to tell if you don't know what it's meant to be doing anyway...

  • It's one of the 'easy play' features....that is of no use to me because I don't do 'chords' but play the music as written with both hands & pedals. The Automatic Organ Computer works like this. If you play a chord with your left hand & then play a single note on the upper manual with the AOC on, then the AOC system automatically plays turns your single note right hand into right hand chords.

    Hope that helps!

  • @g0ojf Exactly right on the AOC. Was a big innovation for Lowrey back in the 70s.
