  • You guys are putting an awful lot of thought into an 80s toon designed to advertise toys...which is one thing it did really well.

  • Possiblity: They could have had meetings and stuff in-between episodes...Happens on TV all the time. Funny though *lol*

  • Good thought.

  • It's just that, well, you know, maybe jumping into a crevasse, regardless of superior gymnastics skills, might not be the best option when you readily have a flying horse available.

  • We need Xena and Shera

  • Yeah, Xena, Gabriel and SheRa all in the bath together, looking for the soap.

  • I am disgusted whatever era spewed forth a cartoon that clearly advertises incest, allows risky gymnastic moves in heels to rescue children without any form of risk assessment. It allows a muscular boy with a circa 1100s haircut and his tranny brother lead roles. I mean the guy is wearing lilac leggings and a pink gillet. Finally that kids hair was blatently shaped like a ladys special place... poor kid i wonder what became of him.

  • Are you stupid???????

  • He went on to do many walk-on roles on such shows like the Golden Girls and Dallas. He currently presides in Detroit and is working as a part-time drag queen and exterminator

  • I thought these characters were raised apart. What gymnastics?

And why is Adam's voice so annoying? He sounds like a creepy summer camp counselor who likes to randomly break into song to teach kids a "valuable life lesson."

  • I think they spent much of their lives apart but not all. Though who knows, you may have found a hole in the writer's continuity.

  • The obvious continuity error set aside (Adora and Adam have never met until adulthood because Adora was kidnapped from Eternia as a baby - so says the pilot episode of She-Ra), it's about time that those 2 did something contributable WITHOUT the need to transform into their super-powered alter ego's. I never knew that either had performed a rescue like this. Always thought they HAD to raise their swords and transform!

  • holy crap prince adam cna be he man without the sword! did you see his muscles?

anyway a possible explanation here...Adam has been trained by teela and Adora was trained by hordak so maybe Adora is refering to seperate trianing they both had?

  • The muscles don't mean much. Every male had the same exact build in this cartoon from the King Randor to Skeletor to Hordak to Man at Arms to Prince Adam to Fisto to He-Man. It always confused me when I was younger how He-Man was so much stronger when they were all built. It was obviously to save costs during the toy productions to only have one build to mold the characters from.

  • which actors did heman's and shera's voices?any 1 knows?

  • He-Man was voiced by John Erwin. She-Ra was voiced by Melendy Britt.

  • Well for some reason they felt they couldn't transform in front of the kid maybe that gymnastics line was supposed to be for the kids benefit. She couldn't just say "You know how when I'm she-ra I can like sommersault over chasms?" It's an "in" joke between super siblings.:)

  • so i want to know what gymnastics they used to do, i mean they were seperated as babies and didn't meet until they were grown up, any one else catch that??

  • Yeah I thought she was erased and hordak stold her young.

  • (remember the gymnastics we used to do)a few months ago when we had these freakish crush on eachother and were making wild love? // What about that possibility huh? Look at the JohhnyDeppish look in his eyes when he answers "sure" to her question. Wasn't this cartoon made in the swinging sixties or so anyway?

  • Maybe they each did gymnastics when they were younger, separately...

    ...yeah, okay, I got nothin'.

    A wizard did it.

    SUPERBOY-PRIME PUNCHED TIME!!

Was neat to see Adam and Adora saving the day. :)

  • Utter rubbish.

  • i am laughing my ass off at these comments!

  • maybe they met up afterwards

  • That's some fancy gymnastics! They don't teach us to jump a ravine in MY gymnastics class!

  • I thought Adora was kidnapped by the horde when she was a baby and never grew up with Adam? I guess the sorceress was lying to her and she and Adam just have SELECTIVE amnesia.

  • u definitely have a point, continuity goof.

  • Pfft. The crap we had to put up with in the old days! Thank goodness for Japanese Anime!

  • Pffft, Anime is living crap. Granted; a solid 25% is kik ass but the dominant nature of anime makes no sense whatsoever and relies on screaming and savage animation w/no dam point. Sad we hav 2 put up w/it. Wut yer lookn at above is Gold, punk. (Naruto's very good, so's Ranma)

  • i think adora kidnapped wehn she was babe.Maybe bad subs or something.

  • I bet off camera, there's a lot of good that Adam and Adora do without transforming. We just happened to see one of those times in an episode. Doing otherwise would be akin to "The phone is ringing! For the honor of Greyskull!"

  • FILMATION?! SCHIMER?! You guys DID NOT consult your series bibles for this one! Certanly not! Unless Adam secretily had gymnastic training sessions with Adora on one of his previous visits to Etheria? Other then that it would be imposible! Babies doing gymnastics?! And a circus boy hanging from a broken bridge? I think we better label this under the catagory 'bizzare'!

  • What, over the years they couldn't have played, hang out, and exchange training practices? They're warriors, they know the groove of what's gotta be done. (Adam not so much a warrior but still familiar and trained)

  • That's true. Adora was raised by Hordak; how could she and Adam do gymnastics together?

  • I miss SHE RA!!!

  • We all do. And while were at it, the world needs a He-man today. What a wretched state cartoons are in

  • I swear I saw a similar looking boy in a few other episodes. Is it just me, or is every second bridge on both Etheria and Eternia terribly built?

    ~Ra'akone

  • I just love the sound effects, they're so weird

  • Audora is so calm hanging of a cliff, brave. It must be so nice to have a brother you can trust.

  • I love all the cute pink fluffy bushes and trees that made up the Whispering Woods. Etheria is so much more girly than Eternia!

  • dam that realy kills it the writes must have been now im not sure how lou could have let theat one slide!

  • "the gymnastics we used to do" WTF??? Adam and Adora were separated a little after they were born! THAT LINE MAKES NO SENSE!!!

  • During the many times Adora has visited Etheria, she could have taken some gymnastics during her time there. In the pilot, it looked as though she did spend some time on Etheria in the episode "The Battle For Brightmoon." If you hear Adora's dialog directly, she stated that the gymnastics was what they used to do and not reference how far back in time they did it.

  • Adora *lived* on Etheria. Adam lived on *Eternia*.

  • He flung her across a frickin' CANYON! Holy crap, if Prince Adam is that strong, no wonder He-Man can push a moon out of orbit when he's in the mood.

  • lol!

  • " Your being very brave " she should give drew some poon tang bet she is still flexible.

  • ...wow they must have been some crazy hyper infants XD

  • Shee ra always has the most hillarious blank look in her eyes XD

  • She always looks to me as though she's passing a particularly flatulent fart, and she's trying not to show it so others around her won't suspect she's the one laying it.

  • OH man, this part is so freaky, at some point the kid is hanging out from the very last wooden piece of bridge, and all of a sudden hes hanging right from the middle! gymnastics we used to do? wheN? they were never togheter as kids! lol and why wouldnt they transform?? yeah i know, cartoons...but still!

  • Those gymnastic skills sure came in handy!

  • Ha! I guess that they wanted to give their alter-egos a break. ;)

  • "The gymnastics we used to do?" When? When they were infants??!!

  • Exactly what I was thinking! But, you know how TV is. Star Trek fans have a fit when something doesn't make sense on the shows (like I should talk... I'm a ST fan, too!) Anyway, it's still a cool show.
