Wow! A G5! I knew it!!! I knew she could still sing up there. I was searching for one though, glad you found one. Thank you for this vid! I like her new sound, it's different and it satisfies me. Everyone today is trying to follow in her footsteps and copy her...trying to have the perfect voice. Ugh. Lol. It has gotten really irritating, personally.
@XgiugioX1 I know right... That is so funny! NOT!!!!
But you know what's funny, you watched my whole video just to leave a negative comment, and you probably could have just clicked the back button and saved yourself the trouble. AHAHAHAHA!!!! Now that's funny and smart.
@esteban55200 And you watched it because? I'm not stressing. Just going to block your ass and leave this comment to show how stupidity has no boundaries.
@theoriginaldmoney whitney used to have 5 octaves. her highest octave live was in i wanna dance with somebody 1989 at arista awards i belive. it was in the 7th octave. i think that now on good nights whitney can sing up to 4 octaves.
er body whitney aint lost her voice she just using her deeper voice b cuz she change tha keys of all of her songs c she not singing in her soprano voice but dont let her fool u cuz this gur can still sang her ass of but whitney change 2 r and b now i just wish she go back 2 pop cuz thats where her voice fit at and wen she use her soprano
This video is AWESOME! Finally a person who knows the difference between what sounds good from her recent stuff. And what doesnt. Whitney Houston is The Voice. And she will always be the The Voice. Great video.
Whitney's issue now is pushing. The range is there, but she's pushing to access it, instead of easing into it like she used to. Maybe it's harder for her to ease into it due to the vocal damage, so I guess she needs to regain that muscle memory. When she does so and takes her time, she'll be more consistent, 'cos her placement is all over the place. One minute she's throaty, next she's belting in the mask. She just needs to focus, then she'll be fine.

She hit stronger D3s in some performances of I Love the Lord and she hit many Eb3s and E3s on this tour.
