I was going to say as an alternative to this style with pretty much the same outcome for the winter months you can do a two-strand twist out

two-strand twist the hair at night

spray the twist with a mix of oil and water.

let dry over night and then untwist the hair in the morning.

if you can imagine my hair is about twice as thick and long as yours. unfortunately. Would this still work for me? Your curls look amazingg and i'm trying to go natural-natural..i dont have chemicals but i straighten it.

Have you ever tried the clear Eco Style gel for the front? It's a God-send! It keeps my curls down in the front ALL day but not flaky at all. Love that stuff! =D

I do it often in the summer/hot months. Not everyday but often.

LOL as far as the movement. I haven't gotten that down to a science yet. Some days it gets very stiff other days it does not. I will see if I can figure out the difference.

I'm not sure I heard her correctly, but I think I did... Ice clear gel is an Ampro or Proclaim product. I am leaning more towards Proclaim. Check when you go back to the beauty supply store (bss).

To get your hair to stay slick in the front after applying the QP gel. Tie a satin or silk scarf around just the front of your hair were you applyed the QP then in about 30 min or so take the scarf off and your hair will have dryed slick just like you want it. Most of the time i leave my scarf on until i get to wear im going then i take off just before i go inside! Hope this method works for you God Bless!

One more thing....can you manage to get 2nd day hair after styling day 1 hair? I cannot.... :-( At ALL. My hair MUST be re-wet to reactivate the curls.

Also...you said that you used a different gel than the Fantasia I.C. Did you not like the Fantasia I.C. as much? And if not--Why not? Very curious....

U sounded like u were talking about my hair...LOL!! My hair DOES shed by the clumps too...but I STILL have a ton of healthy hair sitting on my head--just like u! :-)

Also...I've found that I am STILL not applying product right. I don't know...I get scared to use too much product for some reason. If you shake and flip your head around, really fast, you'll get the same effect as using the blow dryer. And as far as how to keep the front sleek with the Elasta QP, you could try tying a skinny scarf just on the front. I think that may help. I think I may switch to another clear gel, like yours, b/c the IC Fantasia has protein in it which makes your hair hard and break in the long run (when used too often).Thanks for the vid....can't wait to see more :o).
