Christians, the idea that we will not be here during the tribulation is a nice thought, but study scripture. We very well may be here with the wicked until the very end, when the Lord returns and takes us away. If the rapture is post-tribulation, will your faith stay strong?

I've been listening to billy for the past 2weeks. I want you to know that I drank every day for 30 YEARS!! Even 2 weeks ago I drank till I couldn't stand up! I quit about a week ago. Praise God for another good testimony, thank you for sharing this. I was in the same position 3 months ago, I was drinking, swearing, smoking cigarettes (smoked for over 10 years almost a pack a day), and God delivered me from all of this, I don't even miss it. I even grew up in a christian home and called myself saved of all things, until I realised I was on my way to hell, I was decieved. I repented for my sins and I put off the sinful nature which was taken on the cross.

Anyway, in regards to the rapture, there's too much to get into by way of text argument, so I've made a video. Ask yourself this though - why would a God who demands faith and obedience, suddenly reveal himself to us in this manner during the last days? Just be aware that God does not return twice for mankind. The rapture comes at the end, not in the beginning or the middle. Scoffers will mock rapture believers, who have been misled by this false teaching, and many will turn from the faith.

And they will mock them saying, "Where is the promise of His coming?"

Christians, more than anyone else, need to wake up - the wool has been pulled over your eyes as well. Do not stand still in these days awaiting rescue while hell swells up around you.

Believing in the Pre-trib rapture is not something that will change your Salvation. No matter when you believe the Rapture is coming, if you're a Bible believing Christian, you will not fall away and you will be taken in the rapture. I'm firmly pre-trib and if by some error of mine I am wrong, I will still know the antichrist when I see him and look forward to the appearing of our Lord.

I am absolutely sure of my position and would advise you to rethink your's. The rapture is a myth constructed by Jesuit priests during the reformation. Later a man named Irving would translate the false teaching and adopt the theory. He stated, by the way, that the rapture would occur in 1847 - this according to a teenage member of his congregation who dabbled in witchcraft. John Darby was an acquaintance of Irving - later credited with the theory. It is a false belief less than 200 years old.

The rapture is cited in 1 Thessalonians. I assure you the rapture is scriptural. As for a pre-trib rapture; it does take study, but it's there and very distinct from the second coming. Still more, it's not less than 200 years old:

What is cited therein is the 2ND coming. There is no 3rd coming, which would be necessary for the false teaching of the rapture. Such a 'rapture' event would be specific; it would be named & it would not be open to interpretation.

The distinction of last trump, puts the 2nd coming at the end of the tribulation hour, when the7th trump is sounded.

If you look at the Jewish customs of marriage the husband leaves for 2 yrs to build a house and comes back to get his wife who is waiting anxiously for him then they go on a honeymoon which is symbolic to the rapture and our honeymoon as the Bride for Christ

I've studied all three views. The link, if you put it all together and replace (dot) with an actual dot and (slash) with an actual slash etc. you can find a wealth of information about the pre-trib rapture. The idea of the imminent return of Christ can be found in early Christian writings.

And a pre-trib rapture calls for us to do the Lord's work. It teaches that the rapture is imminent, so you must live for, and lead others to, Christ before it's too late.

The rapture could have occurred in ANY generation because nothing is needed to take place before it happens. The only thing that needs to happen for it to take place is the "fullness of the gentiles", meaning the last person to be saved. The God tells Jesus to return for His Bride. Actually, this too is incorrect. The Second Coming, (again, the rapture does not exist), but the Second Coming, is something we are called to watch for, and specific signs are given to tell us the nearness of this time, "not the day nor the hour", but we can certainly know, and are commanded to watch for, the season.
