What I think the story goes that Xianghua is the 'true' wielder of Soul Calibur vice versa for Nightmare wielding Soul Edge. Seigfried holds a Soul Calibur that's in weapon style

in Sc1 Xianghua is 17. In SC2 and 3 she is 20. They didn't stretch the timeline out on those 2 games. I heard in SC4 it will be a few months after 3 so again there not really stretching the timeline out. Guess they don't want to make the staple characters too old. I think Namco learned from their mistake from stretching out the timeline in Tekken too much.

I love Xianghua's voice. Don't see why people hate her VA and line so much. She's cute and i love her silliness. There's the sterotype that chinese girls have high pitched voices so I think that's why her voice is like that. Her voice fits her personality and I think it should stay the same. She hust needs better lines. In fact the entire English cast needs better lines. SC does have weak English and Japanese VA.
