You're thinking kph, Lance generally rode at about 50-53 kph in individual trials, which is about 30-32 mph. In team time trials they may go a bit faster, but not much.

Discovery Channel team / US Postal is now riding off into the sunset - I heard they are being disbanded - an indirect casulty of all the doping scandals rocking cycling - despite being clean themselves they weren't able to find a sponsor for the upcoming season. I will miss them - I love this video and music - any group of guys that can ride at 35.5 MPH for over 42 miles is definitely a paceline I could only dream of being a part of.
