  • LOVE you Alison! This song means so much to me. I have been to Atlanta, a great city!

  • Funny thing about central Illinois native Alison she has said in many interviews that while she plays a folk/country style, many are surprised she listens to a ton of hard rock. LOL!

  • Alison was only 6 yrs old when Desolation Angels came out and this Bad Company timeless album with this song stormed the charts in 1979 powered by Rock and Roll Fantasy.

  • I have never heard her miss a note. She is absolutely amazing.

  • im 16 and remember my mom always playing Alison Kruss all the time even when i was a baby i know all of her songs!! she really has rare sounding voice its very hard to find now days she is such a inspiration to me!

  • God, I love this woman. She single-handedly redeems country music for me.

  • Love the Feats. But this song is written by Mick Ralphs, of Mott the Hoople, Bad Company, and more.

  • Hey I am deaf...in one ear but none the less I love this song. And Alison is AMAZEING!

  • Feats ride again!!

  • georgiture

  • OMG...she is amazing.....as they all are. But that voice....dang!

  • seen them in warren, ohio a couple of months ago and it was the best live performance i have ever seen. i like hard rock and have been to ozzfest and lolapalooza and they were crap compared to these guys.

  • I broke the replay button. One of my all-time favorite singers, no auto-tune needed!

  • Great angelic voice, great band

  • Geoguhjuh?

  • 6 persons wish they could sing like her!!

  • Always amazed by her and the Union Station band. <3

  • she sounds even better live and i love the twisting hing at the begining!

  • Yum!

  • I'm falling in love with Alison. I'm just an old hound dog! What an angel voice, magical musician, and looks oh so hot with those green eyes!

  • Fabulous!!!

  • Knew of Alison years ago and still love her so much!!! God Bless you Alison!!

  • I just discovered this woman and her band... holly smokes... so so so good and I'm a metal player. I am a FAN!!!!! Great great stuff.

  • I just discovered this woman and her band... holly smokes... so so so good and I'm a metal player. I am a FAN!!!!! Great great stuff.

  • Does it get any better than this! Alison ROCKS!

  • Thank you, for posting, I added to our playlist, :)

  • She says Georgia so oddly...that for a while I though she was saying something else

  • @elara55 I think it's supposed to imply the sounding of a train chugging along.

  • @clitasaurus1 There's only one culture that would consider the way she dresses provocative and that's the Islamic religion. For us true Patriotic Americans they don't count.

  • On my way, back to JURRR-GA-JUUURRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

  • Geor-gu-jah

  • RIP George Lowell.

    Great cover.

  • How did Taylor Swift get to vote five times?

  • How is it that Alison looked like she was 40 when she was 20 and now at about 40 looks like she is 20. Her Golden voice stays the same. Born July 23, 1971.

  • EVERYTHING about her is hot.

  • 10 or so years ago, before I threw out our TV, I was flicking the remote control and caught a bit of one of the finest voices I'd ever heard. Went back to CMTV and first saw AKUS. It has been love for me and my entire family since that day. We live in Brooklyn NY, native New Yorkers, mixed race, Yankee fans. Doesn't matter, real talent crosses all borders and differences.

  • Great song by an amazingly talented TRUE artist. Somewhat of a rarity these days. Thanks for the video. xx

  • Ever been to Alanta folks? Used to be a great town about 10 years ago. Don't know about now. But when Alison sang this it was a nice place to visit. Ted Turner blows now, but back then he was just a typical CNN wacko.

  • LoVe Alison

  • I'm in love with Dan. He is So HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she does have a great voice!

  • What an attractive voice costs.

    Amazing

  • I could kiss Alisson Krauss for 72 hours straight.I lover er

    when she sings.........goodness

  • Incredible! A slow jam is and all these guys are amazing, tho my personal favorite is Jerry D on the DoBro he came to see us in Bangor Maine at the American Folk Festival and a train actually rolled thru when he was doing "Oh Brother" it was unbelievable. Keep this beautiful art coming, there is not enough beauty in this world.

  • What a way to end the show! If you like AKUS, the DVD of this concert is worth having; the sound quality and video quality are excellent, great song variety, well done all-around.

  • why do they swing theyre instruments like that in the begining??

  • @da324. I thought this was a Little Feat song.

  • @musicphan1 Seems to be a different song.

  • Has this woman EVER hit a bad note in her life?

  • Great voice....great music

  • That's it. I'm moving to Atlanta!!!

  • 3 people are clearly insane.

  • Angelic voice!

  • I love this Alison as well as this song, but the way she sings Georgia bugs me a bit. I know, I know, it's her technique - I'm just saying. Please no nasty comments - does this bug anyone else?

  • @PiggiesAndPens I know what you're saying. It is kinda funny, but hey, it got her there:P. Then again, try and listen to the original by Bad Company, a lot less accentuation throughout the entire song:P.

  • L-I-V-E is the ONLY way to see / hear them ...you`ll never forget it ..

  • @HighMaintenance2099 I could not agree with you more. Love them... and love them more live:) Cheers

  • i do not wonder she got 26 grammies when I hear this ...

  • She is absolutely beautiful! Her voice is so smooth... A studio vocal machine would butcher such amazing talent. I love how she sings, so clear and pure, I absolutely adore Alison Krauss!

  • I wonder how many people know this is a rock & roll song from 1979 by Bad Company, who were on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song record label. I still prefer the original, but this is one fine version. On a side note, it was Zeppelin's singer Robert Plant who performed with Alison on Raising Sand.

  • @da324 I saw them in concert on the Raising Sand tour. Phenomenal.

  • The first time I seen this I posted on facebook good song.

  • I love this song.

  • what a band

  • I love Alison! A great singer...makes chills

  • I love that guy yelling at like :30. :D LOL.

  • The one person who dislikes this must be deaf, and isnt liking the video, silly deaf person, what a nice video. hahah xD

  • Awesome1

  • ......Geooorrrrr-iggi-juahha. How do you spell that amazing word!! Oh well anything from those lips needs no explanation.

  • This is for you, Mary! Have fun in ATL!!!

  • She has the most beautiful voice.

  • @rexforth this is the real thing..alison and union station are amazing

  • Dolly must be so proud of Alison.

  • i have the cd, that they taped from this concert. (:

  • She's a Beautiful Woman Inside and Out and is Overflowing with Grace and Class all while being one of the most Feminine Women who Ever Lived.....WOW The Song ain't bad either....LOL

  • at 2:57 their drummer really feels the rythm of the song.. lol. I really love Alison Krauss. so difficult to follow her style in "geor-eee-gia". even through words, i am not certain with the pronunciation. lol

  • CHILLS CHILLS CHILLS Alison Krauss has the most fluid and beautiful voice!!!

  • I love her music.

  • A 'prophet' I AM NOT, thus my post-commentary here: Globally-speaking, this has been shown (via non-scientific polls I've conducted) to greatly reduce tension and stress, thereby lengthening persons liv(fe)s....An 'independant lab' has concluded not only is this song beneficial to your health, it also (harbors) the potential to create deeper love in an individual for whom there was no tangible expressions of love...

  • @botbagel OMG!!!! YOU TOO ~?~

  • She is so awesome.......and so hot now.

  • Hell f@$kin' yeah

  • I fell in love with Alison while listening to This song about 15 years back.

She makes my ears and brain Happy.<3

  • my mom used to play this song!

  • really AWESOME !! a definite 5* for sure !!

  • Alison Krauss, best-o-the-best..!!..!!.. .. incomparable vocals... only big name that sounds as good live as she does in the studio.....

    aa-may--zzing!!!

  • @vv7 awesome share !!!.. just wonderful...thank you.

  • love this song reminds me of when i was in atlanta on my way to new orlean, memphis and nashville, loved every min of it x

  • God I love this Women!! And her voice sends chills up and down my spine!

  • @MrShaneRon haha I just posted that same sentiment!!!!!

  • I love this song it makes me soo happy!

  • class act all the way great tunes tyakaus

  • For years I thought she was singing On my way back to Chug-a-Choo (like a train?) untill I read these Joja comments, still baffling though, hah.

  • me to i have the c.d and thats how i sung it like that whats the real words??? i dont know them!! lol :) help mee

  • actully cooga choo is a real town she dose sing chooga chooo

  • @cloemcbowey She's saying "Georgia" only like "Geor-G-gia." I don't know why she emphasizes it so weirdly (especially in this video). Makes it very hard to sing/imitate.

  • @ashawn203 Hahaha....You, ironically and paradoxically, figured that out!!!

  • I think she does this song much better live than in studio.

  • I really love the sound of Union Station - this incarnation expecially - great players and I generally love Allison's voice and the great ensemble ethic of the band. However, when I saw this on Soundstage, this song stuck in my craw - what was she singing? "Jor-ga-ja"? Made no sense. Someone told me what the song was but the over-enunciation of Georgia really got to me. It's the only thing in the show that I stumbled over. Now I know, but still don't get it. Great otherwise.

  • hahaha "jor-ga-ja..." i've always called it "joja," but what the hey.

  • @DrAznmuff .....Responding w/o an ounce of malice or guile, I'd spell it 'JawJa'...Remember it's so hot down in the deep south that no one finds reason enough to open their 'sweet jawls' any wider than necessary...I strictly speak for myself and everyone else in the third person...

  • @smithfieldfair .....You've 'inexplicitively' 'GOT IT' 5/5 for your 'unwittingly-known' wit !!!

  • I was there jaw dropping beautiful knee slapping times.. I went with my brothers/uncles/grandpa n dad.. we was so smashed.. hooting and hollering before we made it in.. such good music..

  • She is also proof that dressing like a slut isn't necessary to play kick ass music.

  • @nuggetlush YOU GOT THAT RIGHT !!!! Real artists are all about the music ~~~

  • @nuggetlush I don't think dressing "slutty" would be appropriate for this style of music...

  • @nuggetlush yeah funny how there was a video hating on her.

  • @nuggetlush Tell that to the 5 people that disliked this. Or any other of her videos.

  • @nuggetlush Or do dumb stuff.

  • this chick is proof that women's voices get better as they age...

  • Best version ever.

    I love AKUS, dammit. :D

  • Alison is the shit!!! Beautiful voice!! Love Union Station. Don't go nowhere guys. We need the 'greats' to stick around!!!!!!!!
