The point of that wasn't to say whether you went out fairly or not it was :
A) to say that you would have gone out no matter which way you look at it
B) to point out that Italy had ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to bennefit from scoring that last
goal because even with a tie they were in a qualification spot. Why would they care if Scotland was eliminated anyways?
