  • Quick update. Arizona allows concealed carry without CCW license now!

  • you have the junk clips on your crossbreed holster.the newer holsters have the solid clips the cross is not cut out and thats were they bend all the time.have crossbreed send you the good ones i think they will do it free

  • just wondering, why get another crossbreed for the same gun when it's got a lifetime warranty?

  • @MelonJMusic lifetime warranty for workmanship defects, not for being worn out.

  • If you carried a Springfield XD you wouldn't have to worry about the safety coming off. I have a full size XD Tactical .45 with a 5 inch barrel and carry OWB, but the vest gets really hot. The XDM in 9mm would also be a good choice for IWB with the Crossbreed holster. Thanks or the great review!!!

  • @noelsingletary I really love the XD pistols and plan to get one in the near future. As for the moment, I am carrying a Glock 26, but it feels a little chunky at times. Still, better to have something than nothing. Thanks for watching.

  • @chanderson1 do I need to buy bigger size pants to comply with wearing this holster ?

  • Respond to this video... In the winter time i carry my full size 1911 in an Alessi bodyguard shoulder rig cocked & locked with alessi's pull through snap retainer great holster also.

  • you got the bad clips on yours you have the open cross. they weaken right at the cross bar the updated ones have solid crosses much better. i bet they willsend you theclips just for the shipping cost

  • Too bad their site is down as of today. Lame :(

  • Great video! Thnx dude.

  • I am liking that el paso holster! When you said it does not carry very close to body, you meant because it;s an OWB, right? Or are you saying it's even moreso away from the body than other OWB holsters like that galco?

  • @snappydoodad Well, when the gun is in the holster it kind of is top heavy and the top of the grip angles outward and away from the body. I like the gun to stay as close to the body as possible. Its a great holster for open carry though.

  • If you want a good holster for 1911 open carry the blackhawk serpa holster is top notch i carry my colt defender 1911 every day as well as my glock and xdm 3.8 best open carry holster and great retention so i dont ever have to worry about some one trying to take it as I had a experance with a drunk trying to unholster my side arm

  • do you think this will work well for small of back carry? i like wearing my gun there, but cant find too many good concealable holsters for SOB carry

  • @duke3oh8 Hi, I really dont think it would work well at all in an SOB position. I used to carry SOB with a Galco designed specifically for SOB carry, but find that a crossbreed at 4:00 to 3:00 is the most comfortable and concealable.

  • @duke3oh8 CHECK OUT GALCO'S SOB HOLSTER

  • I have several crossbreed only problem is sometime I forget I am wearing it when entering palce that dont like CC

  • @rmeken LOL, I've done the same thing. That just proves how comfortable they are.

  • How strong is the Kydex?

  • @MrBladeDude Its very rigid. No problems with it so far.

  • Yeah, I have this Cross breed holster and I would agree it is very comfortable. I carry an Officers size 1911 in mine. The only down side to this and any IWB carry holster is if you gain a little weight, you will find its not so easy to carry in those old pair of blue jeans anymore. You either have to lose the weight or buy a bunch of new trousers.

  • does the crossbreed able you to go condition three

  • @mykidrome "Condition 1" Locked and cocked with a round in the chamber and the safety on. Yes it does. It works very well, with no concern for the safety coming off.

  • great video, does the holsters color bleed out on your clothing?

  • @jaymbolane Nope.

  • Nice vid. Question. So I have a springfield xd40 subcompact 3 inch barrel. I'm planning on buying the 5 inch barrel model in 9 mm. When i order my crossbreed Should I tell them to make the kydex to fit the 5 inch model xd? Will my subcompact 3 inch fit in it as well as the 5 inch model? Thanks. Please reply here or pm me. Thanks a million

  • @MedicBikers2007 If the only difference is the barrel length, but the frame size is the same, it will fit since the crossbreed's open ended design allows you to fit any length barrel in it.

  • @MedicBikers2007 Assuming you haven't ordered it, I would make sure you note that you want it to be sized for the 5-inch -- the difference is that the standard holster is sized for the 4-inch, and those sized for the subcompact have more of the leather cut off.

I threw together something on photobucket to illustrate it, but youtube won't let me post it publicly.

The 5-inch would extend below the bottom of the leather in a CBST made for a 4-inch XD Service.

  • hows your finish holding up

hows the cross breed (kydex) on the gun

im trying to decide if i wont a stainless slide

  • @bigdaddyitalia22 the finish is not bad at all. The only side i see a little wear is the portion that is made with leather.

  • hows the gun waring

hows the cross breed on the finish of the gun

  • Do you notice abnormal as far as tge gun goes with this holster

  • @bigdaddyitalia22 As far as abnormal wear, I dont notice anything on the gun.

  • John browning designed this gun without a thumb safety, the military added it when they adopted the gun. The 2 internal safeties will prevent an accidental discharge as long as the trigger is not pulled, unless you are concerned about the gun going off in your holster (which would never happen) the thumb safety being knocked off while in the holster really doesn't matter.

  • @jimlp Yes I understand this, but its comforting to know that when I carry one in the pipe and cocked, the thumb safety is just gives me a little bit more confidence.

  • I don't use a holster with a thumb brake but I do carry a 1911 and that's scary.

  • Your 2 videos on the Crossbreed SuperTuck Holster were spot on. I've bought one for my brother for his Glock 19 and another for myself for my Glock 30. Excellent workmanship, quality and a product that really is comfortable! Keep up the videos and stay safe.

  • @morgandewolfe Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Take care.

  • I know many Americans like their guns, and I understand why your constitution is written to make gun ownership legal, but the thought of people walking around on the street with guns in their pants makes me glad I live in Canada.

  • @SlaughterMeister Most likely the only ones carrying guns in Canada are criminals with bad intention preying on unarmed, honest, hardworking, innocent Canadian citizens.

  • @chanderson1 That's probably true, but it doesn't make me any more comfortable with the thought of Joe Blow walking around with a 9mm down his pants.

  • @SlaughterMeister Well, I feel more comfortable knowing in the united states that my fellow american has the firepower to stop any insane lunatic that is determined to kill innocent people. Also there is a mis-representation of the "average" american. We do believe in our constitution and our rights to bear arms, but in a country that has had that taken away from them already, I believe that their cititzens do not know any better or have never had the feeling of being able to be free to own.

  • @chanderson1 Well, like I said before, I understand it. But here in Canada we have barely any gun crime, and it's usually organized criminals who get into shootouts here, if anyone. I don't even remember the last time there was a shooting in my city.

Gun control works, and I support it. If I need to rise up against the government, I'll just walk my ass over to Canadian Tire and pick up a rifle. Until then, why bother? I live in a quiet neighbourhood, and I have a baseball bat in my room.

  • @SlaughterMeister your on crack bro, I use to live in Canada and I think its nuts that I couldn't legally carry a gun on me to protect my self, with your school of thought you will be a victim your whole life.

  • @SlaughterMeister The funny thing being, in many areas of the US law-abiding citizens are not allowed to carry guns in any way, shape, or form. There are even cities where private ownership of guns is completely outlawed. Guess what the common characteristics of those regions are... That's right, higher crime rates, gun violence, and a veritable playground for criminals to choose unarmed victims to prey upon.

To chanderson1, thank you for the video. I am buying a crossbreed iwb now.

  • @devastateurface And that's because in OTHER areas of America it's so easy to acquire and own a gun. You get a stolen gun somewhere else and sell it in an area where it is difficult to get a gun. You can resolve this problem one of two ways: allow everyone to buy a gun, regardless of locale, or disallow everyone to buy a gun.

We chose option B, and we have a fraction of the amount of gun crime that you do. And guess what? The guns in those crimes come from your country.

  • @SlaughterMeister Well I do encourage Canadians to buy their stolen guns from America, we need the economic boost. If you ever need one, get a Colt 1911 and the Crossbreed holster like the poster suggests. Looks like a great combo. ;-)

  • @SlaughterMeister

Good. Stay there, and rely on the state to protect you.

  • @SlaughterMeister Just so you know its not just some joe blow walking around, to be able to cary a firearm legally you have to attend a safety course, qualify with the gun that your gonna carry, and pass a federal background check to make sure your not just some crazy who wants to carry a gun those people are called criminals

  • Thought you would like to know that I bought the horse hide version for the glock 17 and I carry my Glock 26 with it and it works great. I can carry both guns without any problem all day. Thought you would like to know as I did it based on the strength of your review.

  • Just curious, Why would it matter if the safety gets clicked off if the strap keeps the hammer from being able to drop? Plus you need to depress the safety on the back of the grip for it to shoot. Just my $.02

  • @glockfan86 would you take that risk?

  • @chanderson1 No, I suppose I wouldn't if I didn't need to. I actually stopped carrying my Kimber because I couldn't find a comfy holster ans started packing my g27. The crossbreeed looks like it may be the answer.

  • Blackhawk hands down makes the best open carry holster for a 1911. Great video!

  • great vid.. i have about the same holster (horsehide though) but yeah its really good forms to the body well..........

  • Hi. I own a full size Glock 17 which is about the same size but weights a little less. You have the kimber cdp Pro? I think they are approximately the same size aren't they? any insight would be appreciated as I was going to buy a smaller glock but would prefer not to.

  • @EnduringEagle Hi, they are very similar in weight, but I think the Glocks are much more bulkier with added thickness. My Pro CDP is closer to the size of a Glock 19 than a 17. I carry a G26 on most days and notice a big difference when I switch to a 1911 pistol. The 1911s are very popular for carry due to how slim they are, which makes it that much more comfortable.

  • Outstanding video (especially about the Galco holster).

  • I'm pretty sure this is the holster I want. I have a FN FNP-40, and the only thing I'm worried about with it is the gun falling out if I ever have to do more than simply walk. There are other videos on Youtube where Glocks fall out of the holster easily, although yours seem well made.

  • @AmyLeesPetWookiee When I first did my research on the CB holsters, I had the same concerns. When you are actually wearing it with a proper gun belt, there is very little chance of the gun coming out even under full sprint. The holster will have more tension once you put it on and securely fasten your belt. I would almost say you could do jumping jacks with it and not worry about the gun coming out. It may be a different case if you did handstands though.

  • do you think it would be a faster grip aquisition to have a left handed holster in the small of your back for right handed draws or keep a right handed holster on the right side of your body? how does it feel when you sit down or sit in your car?

  • Why buy a new one? Simply keep the hardware and replace the leather if it rips, but it should last for many years to come. Great Video, Thanks!

  • Not that I have a 1911 but I thought Galco was the best bar none-thanks for opening my eyes looking for a holster for my PT92 I like to carry it cocked & locked wouldnt want mine to go off on me that would sure sting

  • i have had a crossbreed for 2 weeks and i really dont like it. i used to carry owb and it never bothered me comfort wise. but i wanted more concealability so I got one of these cause i havnt heard anything bad. but when i were it on my hip the bottom part constantly digs into my leg. and when i sit down it feels like there is a knife blade in there. the only way i have found that is berable is behind the hip which i have never liked. i have been trying to train with it there but im so used to

  • carring on my hip instead of behind it. im a pretty average size guy. so idk if they were designed to be worn behind the hip only or what. this is just my personal preferance to carry on the hip instead of behind it. if your like me i wouldnt reccomend this for on the hip.

  • Wow!! You won't believe this but you may have just saved my life! or at least saved me from from seriously injuring myself. Thank You! I have the same exact gun with the same exact Galco holster and have inexplicably found my safety in the "off" position while carrying. I think back on it and now I feel stupid for never putting the pieces together. This holster is now useless to me except for keeping the dust out of the gun when in storage. I will be looking into the crossbreed for sure. Thanks!

  • @javy051 Hi, Believe me, it took me awhile to associate the two together but when I did, I thought I should share the info. glad you watched it. Take care and be safe.

  • if u can get back to me i would really like to know how u conceal sitting down no matter wut setting or positoin on my body i have my holster my handgun sticks out like a sore thumb when i sit down its just pokin out my back side its so noticeable can u give me some help? i carry a full size kimber

  • @heiney69 Hi, a full sized 1911 will always be a little difficult to conceal. I have done it wearing a Crossbreed holster at my 3 O'clock position. This may seem a little uncomfortable in the beginning as opposed to the 4.30 position, but I found that it conceals the grip while sitting much better. Also with a full sized gun, you may want to wear a larger shirt that is dark in color or has a pattern to it. This will break up any printing from the grip.

  • Thanks for the info. Great review!

  • Awesome video man, Very informative. El Paso Saddlery makes some beautiful holsters. I have a black saddle sticked Sky Six for my Kimber Ultra Eclipse II their very nice and I dont mind carrying cocked and locked.

  • I understand the appeal of 1911s, I love them myself. But I would rather carry my glock or my xd subcompact than a 1911. I like having the capacity, because I have been trained to shoot but I am not dumb enough to think I'll be shooting out dime sized targets under stress. Great video all and all, I plan to get one of these crossbreed holsters.

  • Thanks for sharing I bought the crossbreed based on your input.

  • Outstanding video!!! Keep em' comin!!!!!!!

  • @MattP12 Thanks, glad you liked it!

  • Thanks so much for this information...very helpful!! I appreciate you taking the time to make this video :)

  • @ridekrisride Thank you! comments like yours is what keeps me making videos. Glad the video helped out and appreciate the time you took to watch it!

  • Thanks for the video. Just ordered another CrossBreed holster.

  • well made video

  • @LeonardoDaCollin Thanks for watching!

  • i have been using a 1911 as my ccw weapon for 10 yrs and my father has also carried a 1911 as his duty and ccw weapon and it is well known that most if not all snap holsters click off your safety especially if you have ambi like i do beign a lefty we just get used to the fact the safety may be off and when we remove our weapon we give the safety a quick touch to make sure it is still engaged

  • for a Kimber ultra carry ii, the super or the mini stuck?

  • @joallavina unless its something like a ruger lcp or keltec which require the mini tucks. The rest of the firearms would require the supertucks

  • @chanderson1 thanks

  • @joallavina Marty can also modify the holster for your 3" barrel 1911.

I have a Kimber Tactical Ultra II I carry in a crossbreed - fits perfectly.

  • @misconfiguration thanks

  • Great video. I have this holster for a Glock 17 and it's great. Can conceal under just a t-shirt without anyone noticing. Great product.

  • THANKS FOR GIVING THE PRICE. I THOUGHT THEY WERE OVER $100. I THINK THEY ARE MADE IN MO. ORDERING AFTER THIS COMMENT. EVERYBODY SAY THIS HOLSTERS BUT THEY JUST LOOK SO BIG. SEMPER FI.

  • @sgt79lachance they are very comfortable holsters. They look big, but when worn it doesnt feel like anything. IMO worth every penny.

  • love the video man> really well done. But "clip"?????? come on man i know you know better than that!

  • @bigphil562 LOL! Are you sure I wasnt talking about the "clip" on the holster?

  • @chanderson1 hahahahahaha i cared enough to go back and check. "let me take that clip out" !!! lol. Gangsters use clips. :) love your rig. Hey BTW what are your thougts on making your own crossbreed holster....?? some leather and a sheet of kydex and your good....plus crossbreed sells the belt 'clips'.

  • @bigphil562 I think the holster would be quite easy to make if your use to working with kydex. I know I would make a few minor changes if I were to make my own. Would be worth attempting though.

  • i like the look of those inbred supertucks.

  • great video..

  • @honky105 Thanks, glad you liked it and hope you enjoy the other vids!

  • For hunting I open carry a SIG P220 in a Blackhawk Serpa. The only drawback to leather is moister retention. I'm going to look at purchasing the Crossbreed for CC though. My primary CC is a Tuarus 651 (.357) in a Galco Belly Hugger. But may switch if I like the Crossbreed. Thanks for the video and good info.

  • @SouthernKudzu I guess I should have said "when hunting I carry the P220 as backup". I don't hunt with it though. :-)

  • @SouthernKudzu The crossbreed is a great choice for CC. Thanks for taking the time to watch.

  • if there are no guns in the world there will be absolutely no harm done upon humanity. there will be complete peace and harmony. every one will get along and have a good time

  • @bank4fun Sorry to inform you, but people have been killing each other way before guns were invented

  • @chanderson1 Thank You!!!! These anti-gun tards should just stop talking.

  • @Lightuprockclimbing Did you wish you spent the extra 15 for the horse hide feature?

  • Nice video! Great info!

  • With the Crossbreed, doesn't that large leather piece get in the way on your body and hinder movement? That's what I'm imagining. I've considered the mini-tuck for my Sig .380 but wonder about all that leather across the side of my body making it uncomfortable to wear. I have a Kydex belt clip holster for another gun of mine and it's perfect.

  • @MediaWire Hi, the extra leather really does not affect your movement at all. As a matter of fact, the extra leather actually helps maintain the stability and keeps the holster in place all day long without shifting on you.

  • I noticed that there is an indentation in the leather where the magazine release sits. Have you ever had a problem with the magazine being released from the mag well from daily wear of the holster? I am also looking at the kholster iwb holster that is similar to this and in one of the reviews someone did he stated that he had that problem so he cut his down so the mag release didnt touch the leather. Nice vid!

  • @donnieb767 Hi, never had any issues with the magazine coming out unintentionally. The Crossbreed is very comfortable.

  • Did you get the Combat Cut option on your crossbreed holster? If so, What is your opinion on it?

  • @muzz3256 I did not get the combat cut. I did it myself and you do get a better grip when drawing from the holster. I will definetly buy the combat cut next time I get another crossbreed. I would highly recommend it.

  • I have a Springfield XD-40 5" Tactical. I'm considering the Crossbreed but wondering how well my pistol will be concealed due to the barrel length. Do you think the extra inch will make a lot of difference?

  • @donnypauling I carried a full sized 1911 (5"barrel) for awhile in the crossbreed. There is not much of a difference between carrying my 4" kimber compared to the 5" taurus1911.

  • Do the clips on the Crossbreed holster clip over the top of your belt or over the top edge of your pants?

  • @RemMan700 Hi, the clips go over the belt. I think they do make clips that go over the pants and behind the belt though.

  • What holster would you recommend that will not cause wear on the slide? Does kydex cause the same amount of wear as leather? What about nylon holsters any experience with them? Thank you this video was very informative.... 5/5

  • @anarchyrealm ...Both leather and kydex will wear on the finish of a weapon, over time. If you have a safe queen, its best to keep her in the safe.

  • Nice video. Thanks. Also that's a beautiful 1911 you have. I've never shot one, but want to.

  • Very rarely does one whom is carrying with a crossbreed or a comptac will he/she know they are carrying a firearm. These types of holsters are the best on the market which make it hard to even tell if you, youurself is carrying a weapon.

  • I tried to buy a Crossbreed holster and was told by an employee on the phone how to get a discount for being an NRA member. Doing exactly what the employee said got me banned from the discount and the owner of Crossbread canceled my order because I wanted him to correct the mistake his employee made. He says he's a Christian??? Some Christian screwing people.

I then bought the KHOLSTER for about half the price while it's infinitely adjustable with a huge future discount you can actually get

  • @tylerdog111 You get what you pay for, Sorry about your luck, but until you wear one of these, you will never know what you are missing!!!!

  • Often you do get what you pay for, I agree but not in this case. The KHOLSTER is functionally the same as the Crossbread and every component is of the same material and thickness. Frankly I like the larger backing of the KHOLSTER since it keeps ANY part of the weapon from touching your skin in any position. I just got back from the range and compared the Crossbread and I am totally satisfied that all I didn't get is a much bigger bill.

  • Never heard of Kholster. I'll check it out. I'm always in the market for a better concealed holster! Thanks for the input. By the way, anyone who puts the cross on their product is looking to sell more product. It is a sin. Putting a cross on a holster is like putting a cross over your neck while having sex with a prostitute! They just don't mix!

  • Great information on the cocked and locked situation. I never thought of that. Again, thanks! By the way, I have a crossbreed on the way.

  • I really like the crossbreed. Also got me a CompTac Minatour, it is also a great holster.

  • @chanderson1 I have a Glock 27 and let me tell you, after many holsters I've tried, this is the best most comfortable holster I've ever owned. Most of the time, I can barely tell its even on my person. And I wear it EVERYWHERE. And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE!!! I even wear this little bastard at home and can barely tell I have it On.

  • Thank you very much for the information! You've just clinched my next purchasing decision.

  • You wont believe how comfortable it really is until your wearing it. Thanks for the comment!

  • Thank you for posting this video!!!

  • Your welcome. Let me know if you have any video requests.

  • Since you offered... :-)

I'd actually be curious to see the Crossbreed and how it reacts when seated, or even more importantly, while driving in a car. If you sit down at the wrong angle, does your pistol pop out of the holster?

  • I hear what you are saying about the thumbreak deactivating the thumb saftey, i have had it happen to me, even though there is still the grip saftey, I always think about what if the grip saftey failed for some reason, can you imagine an accidental discharge!!!??? I would hate to have that happen. Chances are it wont happen but it could i guess. So anyway, i opted to carry my ultra carry II in a non retention holster, it works good, and the saftey stays on. Just scary to me when safety is off!

  • 1911s are very safe guns to carry cocked and locked. It just eases my mind to know that the thumb safety will stay put. Thanks for the comment.

  • Great video. I'm going to order a Crossbreed today. Do you worry about the Kimber being cocked and locked with the Crossbreed? Also, I have the Kimber Pro Carry II - do you think there will be any issue with the laser fitting in the holster (the laser is integrated with the grip)?

  • Thanks. I was a little weary at first with carrying the Kimber cocked and locked so I just carried it the first week without anything in the chamber to see if the safety would come down. It never did and it never has, so I feel very confident carrying it cocked and locked. It is still a great holster. I've got a CompTac Minotaur on order. When I receive it, I will do a comparison between the two. I dont think I've seen a video on this yet. Thanks for the comment!

  • @chanderson1 Do you think I'll have any issues with the integrated laser or will it fit ok?

  • Hi, sorry I forgot to answer that. I really dont know since I've dont have the intergrated laser on mine. I just put my kimber in the holster and mine has the hogue panels. From what I am seeing it looks like you may clear that. I would really suggest calling crossbreed just to make sure though. Really hard to say since I cant physically check it for clearance.

  • @chanderson1

Thanks again for all the information -- you really do a great job. I'll give Crossbreed a call and see what they say.

  • Dude i love that Kimber. What model is it and where can i get one of those grips? I have a Ultra carry II and i love it. Please let me know. Nice review. im about to get a crossbreed myself. Thanks

  • Thanks, its a great little gun. It's a Kimber PRO CDP II with a HOGUE finger grooved grip. You can find the grip easily on ebay. I still have my crossbreed and I still think it is the most comfortable holster out there. I've got the CompTac Minatour on order and I should be recieving it shortly. Once I get it, I'll do a comparison between the Crossbreed and CompTac. Thanks for the comment!

  • Just got my supertuck on friday...best holster ever....i acutally forget im wearing it.

  • I agree, it ls a very comfortable holster.

  • is that combat cut?

  • No this isn't the combat cut. I was wearing it this way for a little while. I cut it myself and made my own combat cut.

  • I'll back up everything you said on the crossbreed. I use it to carry an all steel government model.

One thing, I cut off half of the flap so I could get a better grip.

  • Thanks! Yeah it has served me well. Although its funny that you mention that you cut the flap for better grip because I did the same thing to mine. I found out in time that its better to get the combat cut after all. I still wear it daily but I've got the comp-tac minatour coming in soon. I just wanted to try out another similar product and maybe compare the two. Appreciate your comment!

  • Thank for the video! very informative. I am between the crossbreed and comptac minatour. wondering if you received your comptac and what you thought of it compared to the crossbreed. the one thing i like about the comptac is that you can switch out the shell for different guns for roughly $38. Thanks again.

  • Hi, what a wierd coincidence because the videos about Comp-Tac are just loading right now. I've got three vids loading and should be finish shortly. First vid is the initial thoughts on the Comp-Tac, second is showing how well it conceals and the last is the comparison between the crossbreed and Comptac Minotaur. Please be patient and all three videos should be up by tonight.

  • Do you find that the bottom front of the holster digs in to your leg,i got my saturday in the mail and the few hrs i worn it was digging some. ?

  • when i wear it at 3 O'clock it does slightly, so i just move it back a few inches and that solves the problem.

  • is there a good SOB holster for the G19. can this crossbreed be canted enough to use as a SOB and have the pistol nearly inverted?

  • Hi, the crossbreed does have some adjustments for canting, but no where near to the point of a SOB though. Sorry, I've not owned any SOB holsters, so I couldnt really give you any suggestions.

  • You shouldn't need an "advanced handgun course" to know to carry a sidearm in condition 1.... that's with a round in the chamber for you civilians out there.

  • I like taking the gun courses offered at my local range. It helps you develope some very fundamental shooting skills, plus the advanced courses are quite fun. Practice, practice, practice

  • Don't sell Crossbreed short. If it fails or breaks they will fix it free, it carries a LIFE TIME guarantee

  • Yeah your right. They have a great warranty and excellent customer service!!

  • I've been carrying mine for 4 months now and still love it. Being a big guy, most holsters ride bad on my and show the handle of my gun poking out. This thing is great and I cary a heavy Sig P229.

  • I've experimented with different positions of carry and found that at the 3 o'clock position works out great for me. Even while sitting or bending over the grip does not print. Also that position is quite comfortable while driving or if you get in and out of your car often throughout the day. Thanks for the comment!

  • GREAT REVIEWS!!!!! I am looking to get a Crossbread for my XD 9 SC and this and the 1st vid helped me out THANKS>>

    oh,

    3:05---MAGIZINE! not CLIP!!!

    Just busting your balls!

Keep up the great reviews. Just got a Subscribe from me.

  • Thanks man!! Yeah, I still use the crossbreed and it is my most favorite holster. You wont regret it!

  • love that kimber man it's beautiful

  • Thank you! thanks for your comment!

  • With the CB Supertuck, ( i carry a Kimber Pro Crimson Carry II) what is your experience with as far as wear and tear on your kimber? I realize that with ANY weapon, CC wear is bound to happen, it gives the gun character i think :), But like i said i cc a Kimber Pro Crimson Carry II (the dual tone slide is flat black) and was just interested on weither or not the kydex makes a difference on the wear and tear.

  • Hi, I've had mine for awhile now and carry everyday. As far as I can tell, my gun shows absolutely no wear at all. The first time I got it, the holster was leaving marks on the slide from the kydex, but it was easily wiped off. After a month or so the marks disappeared and no longer leave marks on the slide. Kydex will rub the blueing off your gun where it makes contact, but not as severely as leather. Mine is a stainless slide and I have had no issues with wear as of yet.

  • not too familiar with 1911s, but at 4:25 i gather from what your saying is you cannot have a round in the chamber hammer down and safety on?

  • I carry mine with one in the chamber, hammer cocked and safety on. This holster was designed to carry zero in the chamber, hammer down and safety off. This is not the prefered carry method. The first carry method is prefered, but only if you are familiar with the 1911 and trained properly.

  • I just put in a order for my Kimber Ultra carry.12.06.09. How long did it take to get yours in the mail?
