  • In my opinion, Elena Mosuc's "Rossignol et la rose" is the best one. Mosuc sings very softly and slowly, adding exquisite ornamentations.

  • Elena Mosuc has a beautiful voice and is giving a very dreamy rendition of this song. I personally think it is to slow. I've listened to Rita Streich's version and think that her tempo is just perfect and still have that dreamy quality. Mimi Coertse has a more exciting and virtuostic approach.
