Where did the impression that people from OSU are hicks come from? Ohio State is in Ohio's 3rd largest city and UM is in a small city. No other school has a campus as large as OSU with over 50,000 students. As with every school, you have some students from the country and some from the city. You do know that Youngstown State didn't even make the D-1AA playoffs don't you? Or that Akron took third to last IN THE MAC. Or even that Washington took dead last in the Pac-10? Or that Kent State was dead last in the Mac as well? Insulting Michigan for playing Notre Dame? You've gotta be kidding. They have a contract to play ever year for the next 20 years at least. No one disputes OSU is playing USC but you played no one, absolutely no one, this year.

I have rivals, they know their shit 10x better than ESPN (in fact ESPN usually get it off rivals, just a few weeks late). He never said 50/50 he waits til after, his high school coach did. Everyone at rivals says he's going to tOSU (and that includes the Michigan ppl).
AND, his announcement time is listed as 12:05pm, February 6th.

you're right, ESPNU's information IS from rivals. How up to date it is, I really don't know. The point is, there is no "lock" until the inks dry. As much as we need/want him in Ann Arbor, signals are pointing to O$uckU, so I'll agree w/you there. But I JUST read an article (dated Feb 1rst 2008)that was posted @ESPNU and it said he may still state at signings, that he's undecalred. Reason being, he may still visit Oregon.
