I work with medical insurance all day at the Ft.Worth county hospital. We treat everybody equally whether they're legal or not. It's simply not true. Many illegals do pay taxes; many of their children grow up and pay taxes (i.e. me).
If you work in insurance then you must know that very few if any illegals have medical insurance (only their anchor babies-get Medicaid which is paid for by US taxpayers). When the hospital sends them the bill (assuming they give a real name and address) they don't pay. They don't have to worry about it being on their credit report cause they dont even have a SS#-or they are using someone else's and screwing up their credit. They don't have to pay and WE DO.
We can be tracked down and sued and our credit ruined if we don't pay. But they write it off and usually can't and don't try to track illegals. Why do you think so many hospitals are being forced to shut down due to non-payment by illegals? Especially in CA.
Citizens do the same exact thing. There are too many cases of non-payment to pursue legal action from citizens. We hand it into collection agency...nothing gets done. Maybe this is news to you, but having illegals coming in here by the millions living off our system not paying taxes, etc., puts an increasing strain on the taxpayers. I work with medical insurance all day at the Ft.Worth county hospital. We treat everybody equally whether they're legal or not. It's simply not true. Many illegals do pay taxes; many of their children grow up and pay taxes (i.e. me).

If you work in insurance then you must know that very few if any illegals have medical insurance (only their anchor babies-get Medicaid which is paid for by US taxpayers). When the hospital sends them the bill (assuming they give a real name and address) they don't pay. They don't have to worry about it being on their credit report cause they dont even have a SS#-or they are using someone else's and screwing up their credit. They don't have to pay and WE DO.

And yes, America is the land of opportunity-for all those who come here legally and follow the laws. America may be a young country, but it is one with laws like every other country. You are fighting for better treatment of illegals..hell they get better treatment than US citizens..free medical care, don't have to pay taxes, everything in their own language and lots of other free benefits all paid for by the US taxpayers. Can't get better treatment than that!

A society with major language barriers becomes paralyzed because people can't communicate, and it shouldn't be our job to hire translators and learn their language! If they want to come here, the responsibility is on THEM, not us.

And with your scary language barrier, like all barriers there's a way around. Learning to accept and adapt to Spanish(vice versa english) will allow people to become more intelligent and being bilingual* can help people make more money in businesses and has made more jobs as translators. And federal beats states anyday, since some have made english offical and not all then they can still speak spanish or w/e language they plz and languages you unite us it's people like you who divide us.

-many states have made it their official language, and there is legistlation trying to make English the official language. If we have everybody speaking different languages, that's called a language barrier and it paralyzes society. Surely many of the immigrants come for a better life, but this doesn't change the fact that they do have to come legally, or they have no right to be here living off our system, simple as that.

Continue-The U.S doesn't have an official national language, and YES it's true look it up it's just assumed since we all speak English, so they can speak whatever language they want here so stop crying. Some Immigrants (most of them that I know are Mexicans) come to this country to have children by dozens just like rats, they enjoy the welfare, food stamps etc, benefits that the rest of us pay in taxes. If I was one of those thousands that are in that protest, I would not bother to be marching with the stupid "si se puede phase". Fresh people!, no offense for all hard worker immigrants, they deserve my respect. So insult me if you are one of those.

We don't have the funds for massive deportations, and they will never happen. If we had all this money to spend we would've built a fence to keep immigrants out, or bolstered the security on the boarder. But we haven't because America is broke.

I don't know what your definition of "basically free labor" is, but sure the illegals can work for less than Americans. After all, they don't have to pay taxes, they get free medical care from any ER so they don't have to pay for health insurance. They drive with no auto insurance. Once they start having one after another anchor baby, they get food stamps, WIC. All kinds of free services all paid for by the American taxpayers.
