  • This pond duck may harrass this seagull under these circumstances only. The pond duck can move up on the seagull quickly, but in open water where other gulls can swarm and mob, forget it. The gull doesn't get turfy in this situation, and will flee an aggressive duck.

  • the gull does not want to harm the duck, although they are both in conpetition for food presented by human. Usually a female seagull will consume a small bird for the heme, if she is pregnant especially. The gull means no harm to the duck, but the duck know a seagull will scavange so this attack is justified.
