Het Tsjechische restaurant bij Expo58 was succes en koploper voor Tsjecho-Slowakije. Het werd verplaatst naar Praag het zelfde jaar. Het werkte boete tot de jaren '80. Het werd veronachtzaamd en werd definitief vernield in 1997. Een paar wijze toeschouwers bewaarden brons een Expo-Prijs plaquette en overhandigden het aan het metropolitaanse museum van Praag.

That exhibition was a trendsetter and success for Czechoslovakia. Oddly, there is little film documentation on official media. The Czech restaurant at Expo 58 was recreated in Prague the same year. It worked fine till the late 80s, then closed. It was virtually ruined due to neglect in mid 1990s. Bystanders saved the original Expo prize plaquette on the day the building, already stripped of its decorations and parts of the structure, was finally vandalized. It is now in Prague museum.
