  • ken runs like a fairy

  • Big whoop, that's an easy shot to any of the pros...Climo just makes it look easy.

  • The 3 dislikes this video received were numerous accounts that Kenny made in disgust that the disc didn't shatter after being thrown beyond a discs maxim kinetic potential, which is incomprehensible to the petroleum industry as a whole

  • "One time" he says... And then you hear the chains and the witnesses!!! Love that sound..

  • Runs like a fairy

  • this is about as long as my only ace ever lol

  • sssooooo.... the title was a misprint?? Cause this isn't an "ace" it even says it in your description "Watch "The Champ" Ken Climo hit a over a 200 foot eagle on the par 4" that means he's already thrown it once...

  • @iTwitchAlot1 *Also in the description.. "Fairway Ace"

  • @BattleScarGigantica There is no "Ace" after you've teed off ya tard.

  • that wasn't an ace... definitely a bird. buuuuut ok. seen this video along time ago.

  • @freddie719 Actually, it was an eagle. He just 2'd a par 4.

  • That's his one time, Lon, and Im keeping track!

  • His mommy should really stop letting him dress himself.

  • There no such thing as a fairway ace.

  • I hate these ads. I'm trying to watch Climo, not learn how to drive a golf ball.

  • im loving the swooshi pants

  • My bad on the comment. I didn't realize that was his SECOND shot. Sorry about that!

  • A 200 foot open downhill hole ain't a par 4. He is barely throwing too. A great shot none the less. But stretching the truth doesn't help the sport much.

  • Shouldn't he be saying "12 time?"

  • That is a KC Pro Aviar, not a ROC.

  • His Green Zulu bag is HUGE. I feel bad for his caddy :)

  • @ShawnBoucke the hell do you need that many discs for

  • @ShawnBoucke the hell do you need that many discs for?

  • Perfect advertisement placement.

  • What did you throw there Ken? It was a me pro roc.

  • Strong, the force is with this one...

  • he must have had a pretty sick drive because this hole looks pretty fucking raceroll for a par 4

  • ive never heard of anyone calling anything besides the first throw an ace. "fairway ace" "jump putt ace", thats just ridiculous, especially the jump putt one. it has the word PUTT in it. the only kind of ace is off the tee pad, everything else is just a really good shot

  • @banginchains "fairway ace" is a common expression in ball golf and it's been around for many years, so you need to be quiet and learn.

  • @hyzercreek You've obviously never played REAL golf before.

  • @hyzercreek thats a whole lot of help since i dont see a single golf ball in this video.

  • it says fairway ace, and its his second shot

  • How is this a par four??

  • these guys dont know what an ace is...

  • It's because he said "one time."

  • who is the 1 guy who disliked this?

  • @cawney the guys on his card

  • I've played that hole a few times during the BSF and just to get it where he did off the tee shot is no small feat. A lefty would have a better chance of getting it further than that but for a righty its a great tee shot.

  • Thanks ad..

  • @HAEM0RRHAGE I know dude, I had to rewind the clip so I could see it haha

  • Caddies for frolfing.. is this a joke?

  • @Boarderforlife32 Seeing as you call it frolfing still, you wouldnt understand

  • that shot was ssswwwweeeeeeeeet.

  • @Sahtrump - maybe in your neck of the woods there are only par 3 holes. Real courses for Pro play all have par 4 and 5 holes on them. Par 6 also exists in the PDGA guidelines. U may want to check this out: Par Guidelines Based on Skill Level, Hole Length and Foliage Density (can't post link in comment, search it).

  • A very impressive shot nonetheless.

  • I thought all disc golf holes were par 3 no matter what.

  • @Sahtrump so you would go into a 800ft or 1,000ft hole with the mentality that it's a par 3? People do that to keep track of their scores easier.

  • @jspaulding91

Sure. But how many 1,000 foot holes do you come across?

  • Comment removed

  • @Sahtrump there is one at my local course in northern virginia, its giles at laurel hill hole number sixteen, only a 915 footer but still

  • swish!

  • excuse my poor typing... I ment deuced for an eagle.

  • I just hit a shot just like thus one today. 639ft hole I drives for am eagle. I ain't no Climo though... Yet

  • Why does it say "ace" in the title?

  • @Culture261 ....exactly. There's no such thing as a "fairway ace". It's merely an eagle from the fairway (albeit a nice one). Point being, an ace is a hole in one from the tee box. Speaking of which if one hits an "ace" from the tee on a par four.....it's what?....yes....a double eagle. And then there's the goal in two shots from a par five.....alos a double eagle.....same thing only different. Okay class....now get back to warming your arms up.

  • @GahDub A "double eagle"? Are you sure it isn't an albatross? Thats what it is in ball golf.

  • @viper34j2004 Yes...."albatross" is the same thing as a "double eagle" a slang term mostly used in the UK. ; )

  • @GahDub K COACH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GahDub your out of control

  • @thachronking ummmmm not really. Just being "American correct". ;P

  • @GahDub hahaha naw pretty out of control who cares what its called it was an amazing shot. enough said.

  • Ruined the shot by wearing trackies.

  • By far the best shot I've seen.

  • TREE TREE TREE..basket...BASKET!!!!!!!!

  • sick shot

  • O.M.G

  • OMG that's never been done before!! And I LOVE the guy behind him with 842 discs....gimme a break.

  • @colinprevost9 it's called a caddy -- you get one when you're that good.

  • @colinprevost9 whats your beef with lots of plastic?

  • The shot was awesome, but give it up for the video quality. Fuuuuuck yeah!

  • Fairway aces rule. Especially when they look like they were effortless. Thats why he is the 12 time champ. Climo owns.

  • brilliant toss

  • no way this was an ace on a par 4......seriously.....

  • @puckdevil8 it was his second shot

  • @puckdevil8 That's why they called it a "fairway ace". I don't like the term, though. They should just call it a "long eagle" or something, because it isn't an ace.

  • @Benso87 how about eagle. that sounds just fine lol. We have 3 holes on my local course that are over 500 ft, impossible to park the drive inside 100 ft because of obstructions, and we play them as par 3's in leagues, and its like if you have a bomb drive and your 100 ft or more out and you sink it, it should feel like an eagle.

  • daymn son

  • 3,427 people missed the like button...

  • LoL they have disc caddys

  • @ryand111 wow lol i missed that.

  • @ryand111 do you not get to play much? You see caddie at every tourney, Am and Pro

  • anyone know what kind of disc? looked stable...a roc i'm guessing...but looks like a aviar...best part is having to run and get it outta the basket.

  • @quantumcahill it says in the description its a roc

  • It's called an "Eagle"..that's golf lingo!!! Fairway ace is not accurate...If it is, then there is such things as, "aces"...."fairway aces"....and "putt aces"....an ACE is an ACE..which means, 'In one shot"......any throw from the fairway is an upshot or a drive...no such thing as a fairway ace, I don't care what anyone says...:) cheerio!!

  • Can's fairway ace FOR EAGLE...I love it..."Can's EAGLE", would be better. He definitely didn't get an ace there!! Please correct

  • @ohsofly101 Fairway ace is making a really long shot with a disc on a throw other than your first. So the title is accurate.

  • @Ericxwink a ace is a hole in one. in ONE. This was not a ace.

  • @saemj Its a disc golf term. Similar to a "Cubby Ace" which is named for the youtube video maker that throws one after another until he gets it. Fairway ace is infact a term used to describe the situation in this video.

  • @Ericxwink oh so thats what a cubby ace is hahah great

  • @Ericxwink Yuppers, its one of my favorite kinds of aces. Jump Putt Aces are also pretty weet, my favorite is when you shank one into the woods off the tee and then end up hitting a 50' "gotta save my par ace". Whats really sweet is when you hit one of those fairway aces for a bogey. I mean you sucked balls, but at least you got a ace. Booyah!
