My PC cost only £500 and games better than any console and I can also do way more than just game on it, not saying consoles are bad iv owned loads over the years dating back to the Sega Master system I just love how console people are like you have to spend shit loads to play games on a PC when that's not true at all.

When game companies release games that are only able to do things that the current generation of consoles (which is five years old) can do, what do you expect? PC gamers hate consoles because they hold back the true potential of games that could be doing a lot more if they were PC exclusives.
@afropaladin That's the developers to blame, not the console. They find it's easier to just simply make their game the same for all systems and the lazy part is not putting in the work to bring out a game's full potential on the PC. Battlefield 3 managed to make itself more dominant on the PC.

Plus a pc is never as expensive as people say. A very good pc will only cost you $1000. A pc with the same power as a console is about $400.

I like computer games (dat Elsword baBY!) I just find consoles to be more...practical. When I buy an Xbox or PS3 game, I'm guaranteed it will work on it's respective platform. But you need to update PC's on a regular basis for most games to work. Graphics cards, processors, ram, occasionally operating systems. It's just a lot of money I can't invest. And a keyboard is hard for me to use. I always hit something other than what I want.
I'm a PC gamer and PC fanboys really annoy me, especially the ones that insist you need to build your own PC. Consoles are good for some things, PCs are good for others and I'm perfectly happy to leave it at that.

One thing that really aggravates me about PC gamers in general is how they review games. When I'm looking to buy a PC game on Amazon.com and I check out the reviews, I don't see them talking about the actual game, but instead I see them bitching about some DRM and Installation issues. -_-
alot of the "greatest PC exclusives" you listed arent even exclusive to the PC. like the later unreal tournament games, sims games, and nearly every single one of the star wars games you listed.

There were two thing's you said that are wrong in this video;
1. Console gaming overall tends to be dearer. Subscriptions, dearer games, broken hardware having to be mended, and add-on features you have to pay for.
2. PC gaming is not in decline. Actually the PC is seeing record sales, and Steam announced a huge profit for 2010.

F'ing hate it when people say consoles are better because a pc is expensive sure it may be a little more expensive, but a lamborghini is more expensive than a toyota but that doesn't mean toyotas are better (you get what you pay for. Plus a pc is never as expensive as people say. A very good pc will only cost you $1000. A pc with the same power as a console is about $400.

I do agree about how some PC fanboys can annoying (PC gamer myself).
But nowerday we PC gamers are getting a having a quite big annoyance. Which is that multiplatform games and game series are being dumbed down to the same level of their console counterparts.
2007 Most PC FPS games had actions like leaning and they moddable and usually came with a map editor.
But nowerdays we see simlified player actions and no modding ability in multiplatform games.

I like computer games (dat Elsword baBY!) I just find consoles to be more...practical. When I buy an Xbox or PS3 game, I'm guaranteed it will work on it's respective platform. But you need to update PC's on a regular basis for most games to work. Graphics cards, processors, ram, occasionally operating systems. It's just a lot of money I can't invest. And a keyboard is hard for me to use. I always hit something other than what I want.

I'm a PC gamer and PC fanboys really annoy me, especially the ones that insist you need to build your own PC. Consoles are good for some things, PCs are good for others and I'm perfectly happy to leave it at that.

One thing that really aggravates me about PC gamers in general is how they review games. When I'm looking to buy a PC game on Amazon.com and I check out the reviews, I don't see them talking about the actual game, but instead I see them bitching about some DRM and Installation issues. -_-

There were two thing's you said that are wrong in this video;
1. Console gaming overall tends to be dearer. Subscriptions, dearer games, broken hardware having to be mended, and add-on features you have to pay for.
2. PC gaming is not in decline. Actually the PC is seeing record sales, and Steam announced a huge profit for 2010.

Eventually USA stopped caring about how North Korea runs their government, and until console developers take an even bigger shit on the PC, we should just lay off for a while.
Plus, a lot of people think consoles have more money going towards their games, that is partially true, but we have monthly subscription games, I mean, hell.
Blizzard is making over 15 million USD per month.
If only they would spread that money to benefit PC gamers.

So you guys admit that the reason why we got a "sequel" to L4D less then a year later is because of consoles gamers... that's brave.
.... As for the controller, it's like a scientific calculator vs a regular one... one is obviously superior, but tends to be overkill when you only nee to do some basic math, and the simpler one allows for bigger buttons, which has the advantage of being easier to use... and that also applies to consoles...
