    hmm yes i get older...but i rember allways this...its a music from the heart...and its true..every word..in this song...hmm maybe i lose to often..LOVE...i dont wanna lose..but i lose all time...thx alot mr.FJ

  • @BRENDAROBINSON56 You said a mouthful. The bible even says God is love, and in him is life. So ergo life is love and love is life. It also warned since iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold. We are living in an increasingly hateful and cruel world, because of it a "dying" world. Subsequently it affects and infects an art form like music. Good music is a gift of God. Giving to and to be imparted from the inner soul of human entity and experience...

  • @tightend4 I hear you....

  • ooh my god, that s awesome. i luv that music and im only 18

  • Remember when videos told stories like this one?

  • @gdwmontg10 Yes I do remember when videos told stories like this one just did. As far as I am concerned, if videos don't tell a story [even today in 2012] then they are not videos and I am not even interested in them.

  • Does a instrumental version of this exists?

  • reggie jackson people freddie hit a home run with this old jam

  • this is my jam.......i luv it

  • Freddie Jackson had to be the smoothest nigga on the planet back in the day!

  • Ahh, Michael Michelle the fine brike skinneded honey with the guy's name. Young and dender back in the day just right before New Jack and N. Y. under-cuv...

  • @tightend4 LOL!

  • Ghetto Fabulous!!!

  • Truly, if this was a real situation, then Freddie wouldn't have to be too worried because he left his lady in good hands. His friend is very handsome, and seems trustworthy, and very capable of pleasing (and caring for) the ladies. So, if he goes away for a long stretch of time, she'll have the perfect man to begin a new relationship with. And, with the way that one guy was looking at Freddie Jackson when he walked into prison, seems that he won't be lonely for long...

  • @jarbon5 LOL, thats messed up.Lose your prime cut grade A-1 light-skinned red head honey. Then "Go in the "Pen" Don Juan. And come out Quan." Like Slick Rick sang back in the day. COOOL-BLUDDED

  • @tightend4 Gotta good laugh off of this:)

  • the 80's DAMN!

  • @dariusdynamite, that is Michael Michelle Not Vanessa Williams in this video :)

  • Duh that is Michael Michelle in the video. On Vanessa Williams best day she doesnt look that good!

  • @joifant SIKE!

  • @joifant I don't know chief Van-ness in her prime circa 1985. Was smoki'n. Remember she was the first Black Ms. Amerikkka...

  • I looooooooove this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • who's the chick?

  • Our love grows beyond measure it flows endlessly.

  • around the 3:44 mark, from the time I've listened to this song growing up, I thought he was saying (and it still sounds like) "...they can scandalize my name, take off my p%ssy shorts, but I don't wanna, lose your love...." LMBO, I laugh every time I hear that part of the song.

  • @akamizzT lol You are too much lol!! It does sound like that but damn...you have a dirty mind! lol

  • @akamizzT and why would Freddie have pussy shorts?? rotflmao

  • @akamizzT LOL!!!!You stupid, shawty!!!! LOL!!! It does sound like he sayin' pussy shorts, but he actually said "possesions". But it did sound funny, though.

  • "They can take all my money" just leave me good music!!!!

  • i dont wanna lose it

  • sorry this song came out in 1988This is hard core love jams..This brotha is prepared to give up every ting/anything for this loveYoungsters today never explore love and therefore don't appreciate musiclike this

  • yes in a very different way, sadly that means love for themselves FIRST then onto impressing a girl, sort of my offerings to you are materilistic are you interested,

back then it was more about pleasing your new love and being humble with what you have to give.

so many of my male friends are single because there bank accounts are empty, girls are more shallow nowadays, i blame beyonce type stars. in the 80's singers were easy to copy and afford to dress like them, love is now just throwaway.

  • I'm 32 y.o and all i play is throwback cuts in the house, car everybody call me a old man but this is good music this kind of music was made for LOVERS

  • Oh my, this used to be my song...still love it!

  • This song makes me wanna grab that special someone and slow dance.....yes yes

  • Freddy,Teddy,Luther they dont make them like this no more The Worlds Greastest!!!!!

  • still be jammin

  • Love Freddie Jackson. It's was greats like Freddie Jackson, Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Shalamar and Barry White that changed music forever and they still sell albums like no tomorrow. You can listen to their songs today as if they were still brand new even though you've heard them a million times.

  • thats the big freddie jackson right their

  • this is the music I have listened to all my life I just can't seem to let it go, it just apart of my whole soul, and this music will die with me

  • This is real R&B music it is so sad that we do not have this type of music any more on the radio.

  • thats that FUNK!!!!

  • that kat has a guitar in jail...

anyone know who the lady is?

"i don't wanna lose it, i don'wanna lose it.." this is R.E.A.L Music right here...Freddie can teach these youngsta's what it is

  • that kat has a guitar in jail...

  • @listeningKyng Her name is Michael Michelle. She had roles in New York Undercover, Homicide and one or two other things.

  • @vincee10134 She played Nino Brown's (Wesley Snipes) girl in NEW JACK CITY too if I'm not mistaken....

  • @dariusdynamite You're right, I forgot about New Jack City.

  • @dariusdynamite That's Vanessa Williams in the video. And yes she wore that same hairstyle in NJC.

  • All time classic if you aint got Freddie Jackson in ya blood you aint got no soul for music!!!!

  • Such a funky smooth bass line in this jam. Love it. I sing my heart each time i put it on. "I don't wanna lose your love."

  • well well.. this is a nice mellow groove. very nice. i like this track. i heard that .. they can have all my possession and scandalize my name. wheewww... heavy. they can have it. I like this jam.

  • one of my favs...this was a good cd.

  • MONEY, POSSESSION, PRESTIGE.....NOTHING TAKES THE PLACE OF LOVE....IT IS A POWERFUL AND ADDICTING......LOVE HAS THE CAPACITY TO REJEVUNATE THE SPIRIT AND IT ADDS YEARS TO LIFE....WITHOUT LOVE....WHERE IS THE PLEASURE OF LIVING LIFE

  • music like this have to cum back

  • This Is That Real R&B Juss Comes You Down When Your Sad -DJ Blendz

  • So true.

  • Yo man,Freddie Jackson is a bad boy,he has 9 #1, 3 #2, 4 top 9, lots of top 50 and 100 hits people sleep on him but he is the truth.

  • this song makes more sense after you see the video, and haven't you notice that the same woman is in all his vidz, he must be hiting that.

  • She just might be his beard.

  • @spinosaurusXL Not the same woman...Michael Michelle Williams in this video...not in other videos.

  • @crysjumar1 well this girl look like the girl in have you ever love somebody

  • str8outtatexas1 you could have not said it any better!!!!!!!

  • great song.......does anyone remember gregory abott?????

  • Where is Freddie when we so desperately need him?

  • classic R&B you don't hear good music like this anymore. Only garbage these days. What happened to music you can listen to with your lady?

  • you rock str8oultatesas

  • Wow That woman is actress Micheal Michelle

  • i'm getting ready to hit the club all you old school heads, anybody wanna come? hah hah damn this was the music that we jammed to back in the day.this is a slow jam boys and girls of today.the clubs you attend today does'nt play this kind of music or slow jams period.you know why?because today's music is about their dick,bitch,money,car,bling,9mm,beef and other redundant senseless, repetitive bullshit in every song.where's the love, passion, creativity, substance, and performances of yesterday?

  • str8outtatexas1, I am in TX too. I love old school music. Many are classics. I grew up Gen X, and the music of my generation is quick, fly by night, trying to make a million, and none of it I would ever call classics. The old school jams are timeless. This was music that made you feel something.

  • @str8outtatexas1 tru dat

  • @str8outtatexas1 So True

  • @str8outtatexas1

too bad that now in the club they play only wack rnb

  • @str8outtatexas1 And those are the very people young blacks look up to and want to emulate... Where's the love?

"None but ourselves can free our minds." - Bob Marley

  • @str8outtatexas1 Amen to that! Although I still spin ballads when I play places., especially stepper shit like 'loves gonna last' ya dig?! Big ups to you for pointing that out!

  • @str8outtatexas1 (Hey How are...) LOL. I was reading this comment and I was like "Oh my God". But you aint saying nothing but the truth. You called it like you see it (laugh). Thumbs up!!

  • @str8outtatexas1 Illuminati took over the majority of music thats the ONLY reason why

  • @str8outtatexas1 Ha, you dam sure told the truth! I'am still lauging!

  • OH YEAH, Nice job thanks 4/posting

  • never I wish it was my choice

  • dedicated to kaylen

  • Sing Freddie.....you know you must love someone, I mean really love when you are willing to put everything behind you to pursue what's important to you...the love that you hold for another! Love will carry you like no other feeling.

  • never rated as he should have been,a classic tune by a classic artist

  • 5 Stars to you! I agree 100%. This one leaves "You Are My Lady" in the dust. LOL. (I guess talking about taking all my money turns some people off. My dad used to say "Now wait minute Freddie. They cant' take all my money... Then he and my mom would get into a fight.

  • I didn't want to lose my exgirlfriends love. Yes she meant everything to me.

  • This 1986 R&B song is one of my favorites from Freddie Jackson, and it's one of his best imo, I had forgotten about this video, his lady is being played by actress/model Michele Michael, who is absolutely gorgeous. This song has a smooth, mellow groove, nice melody, and Freddie sings this song with such feeling and soul, it's definitely a song I can relate to, quality 80's R&B from an equally quality R&B singer.

  • I agree. This is my favorite freddie song. I like Rock You Tonight and Tasty Love, but this one is jammin!

  • isnt that th ewoman from that "have you ever loved somebody" video?

  • I really liked that year, that year I was only about 2 or 3 years old. And I really do love this video a lot though.

  • this is it!

  • I wonder freddy and this girl were really dating becus i've her alot of his video's

  • isnt she michael michelle the actress?

  • I wonder too because she looks exactly like her.

  • it is her... i didnt realize she was up there age wise

  • yup its her..:)

  • Heck no! He doesn't like girls, she's just good for the video.

  • Freddie is the MAN!!! High school days with the honies for me!!

  • Yes he is, Freddie was sooo smooth. No 1 could touch him back then, not Luther or Alexander O'Neal. He is a bad man!!

  • What year did this song came out?

  • It was in the year of 1987.

  • @LegalSaiga what a good year for music!

  • 1986 i think
