I don't have to watch a fight with the volume down, I like to hear the sound of the punches, and I also like to hear what the commentators think. Now, with that said, I scored it 9-3 for Marquez.. There could have been two round that could have gone to Manny, but that would still make it 7-5 for Marquez.

Manny looked lost at time.. and couldn't think fast enough while trying to be the technically sound boxer.. only when he reverted back to the old Manny was he effective..

if u watch the fight u would see that most of jmm blows falls on pacs forearms coz he was covering most of the time except for the body shots thats why he has a cleaner face than jmm. if u check jmm face then compubox will show that it is correct.

That fight was rigged. HBO/Bob arum/Roach all saying manny landed more punches which is a line of shit. Compubox was biased/inaccurate pacquiao got his asswhooped and it's sad the phillipinos really think that manny won. Lets be honest fans... the judges were paid off and marquez was robbed.

boxing is scored by rounds. the 4 rounds jmm won he won big. the other 8 rounds could have gone either way. so in this case u have to give those 8 rounds to the champion if it is scored closed or u can go to compubox stats who get the better of whom and from there u can see pac won 8-4. Now if boxing can be scored 10-10 then maybe jmm won 4-0 rnds but boxing is scored 10-9 so pac won 8-4 rounds.

@jcsuae I disagree. For one when I watched the fight, I really thought Pac missed a lot of shots he got credit for. Its amazing but confirmation when I hear and read so many comments stating the same thing. HBO commentators compounded the issue but clearly calling out shots in favor of Pac when I and many other felt didn't land. To make matters worse, the first 4 to 5 rounds, Lampley didn't comment on the number of times Juan landed clean shots. It was incredible and disgusting at the same time.

Forget about Roach and Manny's wife. The look on Manny's face was that of a loser. Not that he is personally but a loser that night in the ring. Good summary, HBO was shocking coverage, i had it 9-3 Marquez but can see 8-4 aswell, but cant see anymore than 4 rds at most for Pac, watched it 3 times now.... was a disgraceful decision, felt sorry for JMM.

Coletrane you summed it all at 13:08 - 13:16. Pac had one style..to come forward and when he couldn't land that power punch he couldn't make the adjustment to what JMM was doing. It's crazy how Pac fans think because Pac came forward he controlled the fight. When you fight a southpaw, circle to your right, away from southpaws left hand. JMM neutralized that left hand, and neutralized the right hand because when JMM shot the straight right, he followed it with a hook to the body. Brilliant work.

extremely difficult fight to score at times...great fight...i'd like to see a forth fight...people are suprised to see when pacquiao isn't completely dominating an opponent...they get cought up with the hype before the fight...but in actual fact...this was very close...don't forget that boxing is still a fight...if you can use movement and skill to put damage on your opponent then so be it...people forget much of the positives to pacquiaos game in this fight...marquez got caught also..

hey bro, you are in title to your opinion. yes, you are right, Pacquiao got hit hard multiple time, but so did Marquez. If you don't believe me, check out his face after the fight. Pacquiao hit him with lots short hard punches. He didn't do it with the 5 to 6 combo punches that we are use to. He did a lot of 1, 2 and than counter one punches after Marquez counter him. A lot of those one short one punches were hard (actually all of them were hard). my point is Pacquiao landed as much as Marquez.

@minott6 i watched it a 2nd time and came to same conclusion. it was close fight. you can't really say the Marquez dominated, because he didn't. i would be okay with a draw, but really, i have Pacquiao winning by at least 1 round (easily 2). don't get me wrong, i understand why most have it for Marquez. he was an underdog and brilliant performance. Just because Pacquiao didn't dominate like he had for a couple fights and Marquez with an awesome performance doesn't justify Marquez winning.

I disagree. Pacquiao landed as much punches as Marquez did. it was close, I believe that Pacquiao won. Marquez was backing up the whole fight, a fight that close you have to give it to the one who's was bringing the fight. And Manny wasn't even the challenger.

The fix was in. Marquez was suppose to lose but he didnt sell out like Mosley, Clottey, Margarito and Cotto. Manny is more athletic but give me skill over raw athletism any day. Manny ran through the light weight divisions because he was more athletic. Exposed as the champion fighting for belts at catch weights. There is none more steady than Floyd. He will walk Manny down just like he did Ortiz and Mosley. Patients and poised. Floyd murders Manny and the lights go out in the Phillippines.

JMM vs Pac 3 opened alot of eyes. I dont think there is nearly as many people thinking Pac can beat Mayweather now.

I feel bad for JMM. The guy beats Manny at least once out the first 2 fights then has to chase Pac for years for a 3rd fight. Moves up in weight to try & make a point against Mayweather & gets beat up. Finally gets his third fight & gets horribly robbed.
