OMG! I could so relate to your panic attack when you considered going for another interview. Years ago I experienced the identical on having left my clothing designer position within Lee Jeans ~ S. Africa, & been head-hunted by their biggest opposition, supposedly paying double the salaries we were used to. Whilst sitting at reception waiting for the director to call me to his office, I experienced my 1st panic attack, apologised via the receptionist, left, never to return to the industry again!
