Sorry i disagree. Britain (Shamefully for me) has a far worse problem then Ireland in terms of alcohol abuse, Binge drinking, etc. Hundreds will be arrested across the UK tonight, most of which will be related to booze.

Tonight especially the Gardaí who work the 10pm-6am shift in the big towns and cities will be trying to keep people safe and sound from themselves. It is usually quiet until 2 o'clock when the pubs and nightclubs vomit out (mainly) young people who are barely able to stand up. God knows what else they might have taken along with alcohol. The A+E units in hospital have to try and get them sober and stop them from loosing all sense of humanity as they start fighting or are already bloody.

I am looking at the what alcholism is doing to the Inuit of Greenland and a man who was taken into care because his parents were unable to take care of him. Now a social worker had taken a little girl away because the police was called. The mother was out of it.
