OMG that scene in the movie made me cry so hard! The animators were really good at capturing that emotion, especially with the epic music in the background. And Rhino's little speech lol
yep this scene sure does move people to tears. even after so many months, i still do like this movie because i have never seen another movie that moved me so much.
yea i love this one too, in addition it was done on paint. i might go back and touch-up on it using Gimp and see what i get. i love the dog-tag at the corner cos it's so original haha
Yeah, I do feel sorry for Bolt, because for his whole life he believed he was a superdog, chasing bad guys, and rescuing Penny. Then he finds out that everything he believed was all a lie, but he still knew Penny loved him, and she wasn't a lie like everything else.
Nice work. Just a little bit of advice, if you don't mind. I want to see you really shine in future drawings.
The legs close together do add a degree of tension to him, which ads to the expression. I would work on the ground shadow. His head looks like it's lit from the top, but the shadow comes from another direction. Shadow should be behind him.
You captured the sadness quite well. I would raise the collar a bit, it looks like it's around his shoulders, squeezing his legs together.
wow thanks alot for the advice, i would definately improve on my drawings. there are alot of things which i need to learn before i can control the expressions of my pictures.
*hugs* I love your style. Do you reference a screencap? I usually do but many times the feet are cut off on the screencap and I have to add them in. Funny enough, that happens a lot so I always have to improvise.
i actually wanted to draw the scene where by bolt was looking at the caravan owner. i reference from that picture but the picture just won't let me draw a curious looking bolt. the bolt i drew kept looking down. after looking at the picture for a while, i saw the potential of this picture and drew it to what i have in mind to make it look sad. it was a perfect fit. thanks alot for asking. =)

Sounds good. Just picture where the light source is coming from, and go by that, and you're golden.
