  • I've gone threw the same with my son. my Happiest days Sept. 25. 2002, when my son was born... when he was 2 1/2, his first steps... age 5 when he first said "I love you"...and still today at age 9, when he wakes up in the morning and smiles then gives me a hug without asking. :)

  • WELL DONE FOR BEEN SO STRONG, HE IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE GREAT PARENTS.

  • such a touching video.... tears of understanding come down my face.... check out the video i did for my daughter...

I swear i wouldnt change her for the world but i sure would change the world for her!

  • My son's name is Ayden too! He developed autism at 4 months old, I wrote the first year of his life here: hubpages(.)com/hub/Autistic_Ayden I would be honored if you could check it out and rate and comment on it. My next article on Ayden will be his second year. I am also going to make a video as well! This epidemic needs to be cured and dealt with!

  • This made me cry. I also have an autistic son

  • I would never vaccinate a child. The threat of death from a disease is minuscule compared to the threat of autism.

  • this made me cry :'c

  • BritishMedicalJournal& The Lancet wedded to Merck CME partnership. wwwdotahrpdotorg/cms/content/view/766/9/Why did the BMJ fail to disclose its partnership agreement with Merck, major vaccine manufacturer--13 vaccines, including the controversial MMR vaccineIs?

  • Your video made some tears fall.... but I am glad youre son is doing better..

  • The MMR vaccine should be banned so that people don't have to deal with this because I got the MMR vaccine and doctors should be sued something has to get done and something has to change

  • What the fuck is this shit? im not being funny but i have asd , asperges and adhd and im high on the autistic spectrome i go to speacil school but i live a very socialiesd life and im happy dont worry that your son has it dude its all okay

  • @Gingog I love the honesty - my son is 15 - asperger and brutally honest, it's good to hear from an AS that it will be ok and it will work out. thank you.. it gives me hope.

  • @lexsis35 Sorry for swearing, it just gets to me i mean just beacuse i have it doesnt make me diffrent :)

  • @Gingog of course you're not different, however - aren't we all different ?? my son now refuses to see his psychologist - his decision, he says that she bores the pants of him lololol and I'm personally very tired of them trying to "fix" him, he isn't broken, would they much rather he is out drinking, smoking pot and having unprotected sex like the rest of the 15/16 yr old around here??? they should "fix" the paedophiles, rapists, murderers etc and leave AS ppl the fuck alone ;P

  • Great video! Made me cry...it's so similar to our story. I'm glad your son is doing so well! You are an incredible mom for getting him help as early as you did!

  • Its insane to think that you say you would "continue to vaccinate" when you saw first hand what can happen. WOW. What will it take for you to wake up? I'm done.

  • i hope all autism children have this kind of parents.... this is the face of innocence, straightness, sincerity...

  • i hope all autism children have this kind of parents.... this is the face of innocence, straightness, sincerity...

  • Ayden your mommy is an amazing and brave person!!!

  • You really have given your son a voice. God bless you. x

  • I'm sitting here crying silent tears because I wrote my comment b4 i watched the video. My son, Ayden was the same way. I miss him so much, I always wonder what his personality would have been like if not for the autism. My poor baby was stolen from me, but I am going to take my son back! He's mine, not autism's, I had him. And everything them damn doctors told you, I've heard it 1,000 times over. I went to the dr. last year to finally diagnose Ayden, and he told me to come back in a year.

  • My son's name is Ayden too, and he's autistic too. I knew what he was back when he was 4 months old, but noone would take me seriously. He is now 3, and he still hasn't been diagnosed yet. Ayden is supposed to see the doctor to diagnose him Feb. 25, 2010...Wish him luck. I want him diagnosed so I can get the proper help 4 him.

  • How did Ayden do? I am praying for him, and you.

  • That's beautiful....couldnt watch the whole thing as it brings it all back to me, the diagnosis, xX Big Hugs Xx

  • thank u for this video it s grow a hope in my soul to brake a glass circuit around my son Aamer to toutch a world again thnk u very mutch

  • Beautiful video..xx

  • This is a beautiful video although it makes me sad the amount of people who think that vaccinations has anything to do with autism.... children who have autism shows characteristics from birth you just have to know what to look for. On a different not can we please use "people first" language? The child has autism.... autism does not have the child. So please say " a person/child/boy/girl/etc with autism (or any other disability for that matter) thanks!!

    BTW I teach special education

  • Videos like this make me a sad but even more mad. My child was diagnosed at 15 months and started therapy Right away. We are not so lucky to have our child helped and its not for lack of love and care, he just is not helped by ABA. I feel as though you're implying my son stays nonverbal and in pain because we aren't trying for him. We recently started chelation, I see subtle changes but nothing to conclude that hes getting better, and hes 5 now. So early intervention isn't the answer for all.

  • Well I am so very sorry to hear that it has not helped your son, but at the same time, I will not be sorry for it helping mine! I never implied anything about anyone, I don't even know you. I stated my sons story, PERIOD! I wanted to put a possitive message out there for people that may need it, nothing more, nothing less. Maybe give someone some hope that maybe they didn't have. On a lighter note, I wish you and your son well, and GOD BLESS!

  • your video made me cry my eyes out..my sons name is ayden too. i have no idea what its like to have a child with special needs, but i have a friend who has a brother with autism. i realize its challenging and can be very hard to deal with. but you have to think about the upside. it could be worse, a lot worse. something i do kno about is cerebral palsy because my brother has it. since he was 2 months he had it. he has never walked or talked. and today he is 22. thank you for your story, god bles

  • @jingleballs7568 Not sure if you have seen this or not but check this amazing story out..........Autistic Girl Expresses Profound Intelligence

  • I have Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy & I am 16 years old plus my boyfriend is 14 years old who has autism. His name is Andrew Hoffman & he is 5'5 tall & I am 4'8 tall.

    I love you Andrew sweetheart

    Love your girlfriend Michaela Schwartz

  • You will come through this.

I just know it. And you know it to.

  • omg this is so sad...made me cry a little.

My brother was diagnosed with autism too, its sad to think about it. God bless you and best of luck for your son.

  • US Patent 7226775-Jun2007 "there remains a pressing need for removing endotoxin from pharmaceuticals. In particular, vaccines"

Is there poison in vaccines? Yes, the antigen mixture and preservatives

Genetically engineered bacteria/yeast make antigens. Cell walls are destroyed to extract them. "Purified" antigens have endotoxins, DNA fragments, cell debris

In a pill the poisons caused immune disorders. Injected toxins are more potent. Autoimmune disorders and Autism are possible

  • In 1989 A pill sold OTC, L-tryptophan, poisoned thousands in Canada & USA. Thousands died or were permanently injured

Genetically engineered bacteria make tryptophan then are crushed. We extract tryptophan from the toxic soup. It's contaminated with endotoxins

The contaminated tryptophan caused Eosinophilia Myalgia an autoimmune disorder, no cure

Antigens in vaccines are made the same way and similar toxins, with mercury/aluminum, could cause autoimmune disorders and/or autism

  • My son name is Ayden too, and he is also autistic. And I STRONGLY believe the vaccinations played a part in his change. I noticed about 4mths old that he was starting to change. I congratulate you on putting up such a moving and personal video of your son, you have inspired me to do the same, spread the word. Did you know autism is the most abundant childhood disease, but we get the least funding to find the cure? BULL SHIT!

  • Thats what i like bout people, they are so supportive around their autistic child, i know its been a disadvantage but in the future, ur child is most likely to become very successful cause alot of autistic people manage to get very successful and very far in life, bless him =]

  • God bless you for making this video. I pray that Ayden will continue to flourish.

  • Your son is absolutely gorgeous! : ]

  • Great! Took me back in time. Made me cry then smile. Thanks. God Bless!!

  • I love your video!!! You are a great family!!! God Bless you !!!

  • i love the song that starts at 5:18

  • That song is by Madison Georgie. You can find it on the Autism Speaks web site. For a small donation (as little as $2.00) you can download it right from their web site. She was 15 years old when she wrote that song for her Autistic brother! I myself LOVE that song. It is just so beautiful!

  • The photo at 2:06 is fantastic

  • Thank you so much. I also love that picture. I feel that it says so much without saying a word!

  • LOVED THIS!!!! My son and our family went through the same thing and We fought, we fought hard thank God my son doesn't have a very quiet mommy because I got mad. I screamed and fought and made the Doctors give me the information to Early Intervention before they thought that I needed it for him.

Needless to say my son David got Speech, OT, PT and an Autism Education Specialist at the age of 18 months and now he goes to LIU preschool and he's on the path to great things. Thanks for this video!

  • I don't think that your son would apprechiate the fact that you caused a scene by screaming. It's one thing to fight for your child, but making yourself look like a spoiled child by making a fit isn't the best way to do it. At least you know the treatments that actually make progress in speech and communication.

  • I'm sorry but your wrong. I needed to make a point to get my son the treatments that he needed and still needs and if that means that I have to make a scene and piss people off then that's what I will do, and I know that my son did and will always appreciate whatever it is that I do to get him the help that he so desperately needs at least he can grow up knowing that his mom didn't just sit still and keep quiet to make everyone else happy, I did and do what I do to make HIM happy!

  • Isn't that what we all need. The education system is so screwed up along with almost everything else in this country. However, just be civil and don't be like Jenny McCarthy when you do. She doesn't use facts and she is a complete idiot when she speaks. She doesn't speak in facts and rationalization, she speaks using nothing but emotion and debunked information from quack doctors. You should really see my video on autism.

  • I find it rather sad that anyone should have to fight for treatment for their children. I was lucky, it was just given to me. I hear all to often that parents have to fight and scream and cry to get what their child deserves. I had a few run ins with the school district, but for the most part it all came pretty easy. I do agree though, I would never just stand by and let them tell me that my son can't get what he needs. I know him better than anyone. It just shouldn't have to be that way.

  • This is almost a mirror image symptomatically of what happened with my nephew. You might enjoy his videos "austin and autism" parts 1,2 and 3. All of you moms with autistic children are absalutly amazing.

  • this is very sad an d makes me think twice

  • You have a very handsome little boy. I hope he continues to improve his skills. He is amazing!

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful video. Have never seen any other with so many trues you say. I know with a mother like you Ayden will make it. My best wishes...

  • What a great video, whoever made it is very talented. What a beautiful little boy. My son has been immunised up to his 6 months it was only after those injections that i started researching this whole business of vaccinations... he will not be recieving any more shots in the future. I am not totally against vacs, but they certainly need more research as does autism. God bless you! xox

  • wonderful video! love it!

  • What in the world are you talking about? I never said anything about him not being whole or damaged, or that he didn't turn out the way that I wanted. My son is a beautiful person w/ or w/o Autism. I never said that I lost him either. My point was, that you obviously missed, He was not born with Autism, something changed & now he is Autistic. & let others know that help is out there, and it does work. But even if it didn't, he is stil my baby, I will always love him & I am always proud of him!

  • I don't vaccinate. It's about qualitiy of life not quantity.

  • Beautiful video!

  • that is my cousin my aunt made this video luv it!

  • Aw Ayden is beautiful such gorgeous eyes, great video, my cousin has Autism, he was rushed into hospital with suspected meningitis when he was 2 he's now 8, all his hair fell out he has no hair, eyebrows or eyelashes and they will never grow back, picture fester from the adams family, but he is gorgeous and is doing brilliantly, love the vid!

  • This video took me back in time. Very inspiring. Great job thanks for sharing such heartfelt emotions.

  • very beautiful video and a great message.

The one thing I would point out is that you talk about a world where he is not judged and a world where he is accepted.

    That is a GREAT goal.

And one thing to think about is in the sidebar you refer to autism as a life sentence.

I think using negative symbolism to describe autism creates a mindset in society that says are children are less than equal to theres and therefor dont deserve equal treatment.

  • I think us parents need to use more positive words when we describe autism so that society doesnt view are children in a negative way.

I think thats where a lot of the judging comes from...viewing are kids as unequal.

Just something to think about and once again GREAT video with a GREAT message.

  • My daughters not vaccinated. Heard immunity's been working great for us.

  • Your video touched me. Very inspirational!

  • So sorry I removed my video and redit it, myspace freaking rejected it so I removed all my vids from there and they are here now. I hope you will let me post a vid response to you again. I'm just waiting for them to approve it here. I love your video, hits close to home. Great song too! ~Shay

  • If he's had an obvious vaccination reaction I cannot see why you would continue vaccinating? Sure some of the diseases we vaccinate for can be deadly but so can damage from the vaccines like your son has obviously experienced.

  • what a gorgeous little man! And you are a great mom for getting him help as soon as you did. Sounds just like our story. I'm glad he is responding to therapy as well he is. Keep it up, it's stressful and exhausting but ow great is the payoff? Good luck!

  • Beautiful job you did on this picture video! You can give other parents hope as they see in your video that Ayden went from a "typical" little boy then to "his own world" but he's coming back again and all that you have done for him with the early intervention & all Ayden has accomplished with it can restore faith in other families dealing with an Autistic child! Lots of Love, Holly

  • What a beautiful little boy! Very inspiring! Very sad, but gives us hope! Thank You! May GOD bless you and your family!
