  • i got vietnam stuff too check my vids i also have1/5 stuff

    a lil self advertisement

  • holy crap, nice machete. thats one intense knife right there! And where did you get the m16 mag? the smaller one, thanks!

  • @RonDarling12

sorry it took so long to reply. i got it at a flea market

  • nice video i liked the opening it was funny

  • is that big shell with the blue bullet a 20mm?

  • yes got it at a surplus store

  • @kellikel13 yes picked it up at a surplus store

  • Good job Wizart you've got a VERY detailed uniform! I have a Williams name tape too!

  • Great video, and GREAT items. I wish i had an expert sharshooters pin like the one you got. that's so sweet!!!! I like the grenade too!!! Very very nice items :) :) 6/5

  • thanks, the pins are the ones i got when i was in the army. you should be able to find them at the surplus store or e-bay.i seen a lot of pins at flea markets where the person sells army stuff but never really loked at the pins.

  • Awesome! nothing else!

  • thanks

  • I also heard that many of the soldiers were kicked and spit at when they returned, did that ever happen to u?

  • i was called names and spit on. over the years i did not talk about vietnam because of that.only since i got on youtube i started to talk about vietnam.thats because people started to ask me about what it was like. a lot were making films on vietnam and wanted to get it right. the only problem i have is remembering .when you do not talk about it for so long you forget.

  • Well what do i know, i'm just a WWII expert lol not Vietnam, i might just be hearing criticism than fact, but i am also old fashioned i love the M1 Garand!

  • there may have been some that did not like them. there were a lot of G.I. over there.

    i also liked my 303 that i got .

  • I heard the M16A1's were a piece of junk back in Vietnam, in fact the army actually tried to make Eugene Stoner look bad when he was presenting his M16 to the army. There was one time were a round actually exploded and shattered a side of the foregrip almost taking out a soldier's fingers. The M16 is supposedly supposed to be better now a days,

  • i can not remember any problems with them in my unit. i had no problem with mine as long as you kept it cleaned and oiled it never let you down. it is still my all time favorite rifle. if i could afford one i would have one. i know there are better weapons out there but i still like the M16A1. i guess you can call me old fasion.lol

  • I heard troops liked the M14 better because it was more reliable, & could go through the brush & take out the VC. But it was heavier & you could carry more ammo with the M16.

  • ya ive never used or shot either one, but i like m14s better bcuz more stopping power and penetration.

  • I'd choose my M1 over an M16 if I was in Vietnam, & the M14 is better than the Garand, so obviously I'd go with the M14.

  • WOW very cool collection!! If

you don't mind me asking, did you ever shot anyone in the Vietnam War?

  • that i do not know. when we were shot at we all fired in the direction they were shooting from. sometimes we found a body but i do not know if my bullet hit them. most os the time they would shoot at us and run.

  • Oh ok.

  • i really badly wanna' see the finished project

  • hope to have everthing in the next two months.accept the radio. that is hard to find and when i do find one it just cost to much

  • Is that an condom on 1.16

  • no, that is a pair of green (od) socks

  • They look so.. brand new i'll buy 'em for 50 bucks..?

  • hi don.how many ammo were you carrying on you in vietnam?did you use m1carbines,thompsons,m1garands too or were they realy fully replaced with m16 , m14 etc?i do ww2 reenacting, german GBJR and when i'm in MG34 team-it's unbeliveably heavy stuff and i'm carrying just blanks which are lighter than live rounds

  • we carried the m-16,some carried the m-79 and the m-60 i carried 2 m-16 ammo poutches and 2 bandeliers that had 7 pockets each. so i carried 18 m16 clips at 20 rounds a clip plus the one in my m16.they were not that heavy but the m60 rounds were.most of us carried them cris-cross on our chest and around our waiste. we had 4 m60s

  • thanks don.have you seen any thompsons and other ww2 stuff in vietnam?cheers

  • being that i was in the field most of the time all we had were the m16,m-60,m79, the m16-m79 over and under.thats what we called it and the a few had the M1911a1 45.i can not remember what machine guns if any were on L.Z.center .we had 155mm and mortor company i believe.

  • what gun? i know its a m16 but is it toy or airsoft o.O? when u say "screw this"

  • its a cheap airsoft m-16 till i can get a real one. its just for show.

i do have a b.b. pistol also, but that one shoots steel b.b ,pellets, and darts.

  • cool

  • how much did all this gear way when you were carrying it

  • about 100 pounds.what made it that heavy was the c-rations and the radio i carried. i guess packs are not near as heavy today.

  • lol the begining made me laugh

  • cool xD
