@zw0ecool Im not sure if the guy would appreciate that, propably not, but, "stupid comments" that show my appreciation for someones effort of making and uploading a series of useful tutorials for the benefit of others, is what seperates me (and others like me, of which there are scores if not hundreds on his videos) from the asinine, vacuous, and needlessly insulting comments that clowns like you seem intent on passing on other people from behind the anonymity of youtube. Grow up.
@nothinbutgreenlights Looks like someone has been reading his dictionary LOL. You called him king, you may as well just blow him, get off of his nuts.
Hi, just had a quick query - to see if I understood correctly. The video used the paste function feature to find out the average for number of rentals and incomes. Could it have been done by simply dragging the earlier calculated cell - average price? (from the bottom right of the cell). would appreciate the answer either by the video creator or a viewer..
Thanks for excellent tutorial guide...indeed best use of youtube, and thanks for your efforts to teach millions through this media. awesome! just went through 4 tutorial its very nice and easy to learn.
You have just given this 56 year old, ready to reneter the job market, a true gift. You have the best tutorials and I am grateful you share with so many people. Much Cheer, Many Friends and a Calm Life to you.

Absoultely Awsome! I'm something of a novice computer guru.I'm the one all my friends come to with their computer issues begging for help, but for some reason Excel was always my Kryptonite. No longer after watching through your guides a few times and commiting this to memory. Thank you so much. I even tried Excel for Dummies and it can't hold a candle to your guides.
I am presently job searching and have not used excel in several years, The job I'm trying to land uses this program. I am presently unable to take courses on it to refresh my memory so I am watching all your videos today. I go on my 2nd interview tomorrow for this company . I feel I will be more confident due to your wonderful videos, thank you in advance for taking the time to help so many people.
Thanks for all these videos...i am getting used with this program.I have to be ready for a excel test in two months...i mean...i will apply for a job. Please pray for me .
Thank you so much for posting these videos. You are very thorough in your explanations, and I really needed to learn this for one of my college classes. I appreciate the time you take to help people like me out :)
@BlushingMocha741 Hi. Which version of Excel do you have? The features in this video should work in all versions. There are other spreadsheets that don't work the same way - like the one in Microsoft Works. For example, the Average function in MS Works is entered as =Avg instead of Excel's =Average.
@MotionTraining I have MS Works. I'm going to try it again and see what happens. But what about the other functions that I have to find. I only have one toolbar going straight across..no (fx) or center etc....
@BlushingMocha741 Hi. For help on using the MS Works spreadsheet just Google 'MS Works Spreadsheet' and look for zisman on the first search results page. I'm not a user of MS Works so I can't be much more help. Hope you get it working OK.
@MotionTraining I have just watched 4 of your videos, and found them really helpful, thankyou very much. I will be using them in my new Job. And I strongly agree you are the best excel tutorial on you tube. Excellent will reccomend.
MotionTraining, when finding the max, average, and minimum, I use the "Autosum" feature instead of doing it manually or using the auto paste feature. Are there any flaws when using the autosum feature? Such as any miscalculations? I'm just curious why anyone would use the autopaste/manual feature if the autosum feature is so easy. Thanks!
@Femicide09 Hi. In Excel 2003 & 2007 there is a drop down menu on the Autosum button that gives you quick access to the main functions (average, max, min etc) which I'm guessing is what you refer to. This tutorial uses Excel 2000 which does not have that feature, so I show the other ways of creating functions. But the main thing is that they all work just the same and they all give correct results! Thanks for the question.
I rashly applied for a job earlier which requires a knowledge of Excel. I had never even heard of it before then.
No problem, I thought, I'll look it up on Wikipedia. I couldn't really grasp what it was for there.
Then I had a lightbulb moment - YouTube!!!
I've watched your tutorial up to #4 and I think I am now an Excel expert. You are an excellent tutor - everything is explained in crystal clear terms at a nice pace and recapped.
What a pleasure it is to view this video. It is concise, well-formatted and presented in a clear and logical fashion. Thank you very much. You really know your material and you have a gift for instruction!
For the past 15 years I thought I knew Excel and you have already taught me many things I never knew were possible. I hope to breeze through the Temp Agency tests now.
