Ford did a good job with the Escape. My brother drove a regular V-4 Escape and it felt like a V-6. Great peddle to engine response. Feel of the vehicle is awesome. I recommend this car to those who are looking for a real SUV.

CVT is American. Variable Valve Timing is Japanese. CV-T wins this one.

@tnguyen318 uh...u sure...lol....nissan uses CVT transmission for their automatics....VVT is different (engine related, not transmission related)...do ur homework.

LOL. How come Wikepedia defined CV-T as Continuos Valve Timing when its transmission?? Because Wikepedia still is about 30% error. And thats a lot when it comes to health, cures, the Universe, etc.

@tnguyen318 true...but i didnt refer 2 wiki in the first place...dont kno where u got that from....CVT is continuous transmission (no gears)....vvt is valve timing..for the engine...both US and asian cars have their versions of both...nissan is very popular for using CVT transmissions...with VVT engines..lol
