  • The fireballs original drummer was Eric Budd I beleive. Later a new drummer came named Doug Roberts, from Farwell, Tx area. I wonder if Don Allen of Plainview is pictured in some of the above photos?

  • This my least favorite of the Fireballs! But I am a #1 fan of this group which originated from Raton, NM. Jimmy Gilmer was from Amarillo, Tx and joined them in the early sixtie, I beleive. Gilmer had originally recorded in Clovis with his Amarillo band. I once played/recorded with his original drummer, Gary Swafford.
