  • ohhhhhh what sexy sound!!

  • Hey you need to upload some more videos of your beaSSt. I'm getting mine ready for spring I need a new fuel pump and exhaust work and a few suspension parts replaced. Other then that its ready to cruse Cedar Lake Rd. ;) btw I live in Country Walk RLB too seeya around

  • okay thanks and i have 4.3 which im guessing it sucks.. i will upload a video maybe later today of my caprice n maybe u can tell me what you think i bought it and only had it for a couple of months.

  • sounds nice man i have a 94 caprice classic idk if its 9c1 or Lt1 how do i find out i also am going to throw flowmaster on mine

  • @israel512texas Well first off all the "9C1" is the police package and has nothing to do with the engine, check the SPID sticker on the inside of trunk lid. Thats a 5x7 roughly sized sticker with many lines of 3 digit codes. Look for "9C1" for the police package and "LT1" code for the 350/5.7 engine, the only other engine was the 4.3 with "L99" code. Cop or regular cars can have either engine. Also 8th digit in vin will be "P" for the LT1 or "W" for the 4.3/L99.

  • sounds good 4 summit...fuck slowmaster...i put borla on my 76 4 quiet but nice tone

  • Check out the Impala SS forum, look up "home depot" cold air intake, 'swiss cheese' the stock air filter box.

Also a Walker cat back system with turbos.

    Look up "$215 Walker exhaust".

You can also by-pass the coolant line where it goes through the throttle body.

Finally AFTER all the above send out your computer to have it reprogrammed, MadZ or PCMs for Less are two of the best, that'll run $100-$150, by FAAAAAR better then Hypertech and a lot cheaper.

  • what year is ur chevy

  • '94

  • is it the ex cop car

  • 9C1 is the police package

  • nice

  • God Damn. That`s sounds beautiful!!!!

  • THAT BITCH SOUND GOOD !

  • i just love that freebreath LT1 exhaust

  • I just bought a '94 9c1 Caprice, it already has 2.5" mandrel bent duals and cat delete, but it has flowmaster 40 series on it. I think I'm going to put different mufflers on it eventually because I hate flowmaster. Is there a turbo muffler you recommend?

  • Any normal turbo like Summits or Walker.

Flowturds are a joke as are all these other johnny come lately "new" designs like spintechs, just a bunch of silly ideas trying to reinvent the muffler and hyped up by stuffed shirts in marketing departments.

  • Cool, I'll probably go with Summit because they're cheap. I've also considered the Cherry Bomb turbos, my friend has them on his monte carlo and they sound pretty good.

  • do 1994-1996 lt1 caprices have four wheel disc brakes?

  • Mine does. I think all the 9c1's do.

  • Yes, all 9C1s do.

  • Hey nice pipes What else have you done to it?

    C-ya around town Dave

  • Home Depot CAI, PCM and all the usual cheap or free mods.

  • Can you only buy these Victorias. What about if you want a 9c1 instead oc a P71. Full equipped car. With lightbar, police scanner and lacquer...??

  • Does anyone know where yo buy one of these fancy 9C1 cars

  • Look anywhere else you'd look to buy a car.

  • The cop cars are very unusual. And I live in Sweden. You think i can ship one.

  • hey are these the same as the dynomax mufflers? I am so lost when it comes to these.

  • I don't know who makes the Summit turbos but the Walker Dynomax are made almost exactly the same way internally. Thus they should sound the same (in the same car) and flow the same.

  • Thats what I am looking at getting. I mean I love my straight pipes. But it is kinda loud when it set off car alarms. lol I wanna get all new piping done and my tips put on at the same time.

  • since it seems u dont live in us your best choice is ebay and get it shipped but please make sure u get a 5.7 1995 caprice they are the fastest trust me i have an impala ss and those are only caprices that can almost keep up ive had a 95 and a 94 caprice

  • Yeah I´ve heard that they are the best. But the number of them are limited right.. Like two years from now they wount be easy to find right?? If you don`t got the right kind of money in the right time..

  • honestly there are so many places to find them and stock in the us there pretty cheap in two years they still will be popular but u will mostly find them with more miles expect to get a motor with at least 100 k the thning is u can run them into the ground its a strong motor but just dont stay stock im not sure what resources u have over there but order slight mods for it like intake exhaust headers and a hypertech programmer and u should be fine

  • Thanks REAL2MELO

  • I had this exact Exhaust on my LT1 Fleetwood, and I loved it. For Less than $200 in parts, its hard to beat!

  • Does anyone know what sort of police package, That goes fastest and is the strongest. P71 or 9C1..

  • Well, the 91-93 9C1's had an (optional, over the LO3, 305)LO5, 350. That had 335 tq, 205 hp. The 94-96's had an (optional, over the L99, 4.3/265)LT1, 350. That had 335 tq, 260 hp(most will agree that it's a bit under rated).

The 94/95 Caprices were rated at about 15.0 in the 1/4 mile. The 96's at 15.2(slightly smaller cam, heads thet flowed different). I've had my 94(Almost 100% stock, TB coolant Bypass, no posi, on slicks) go 14.86 in about a 1000' DA.

  • Any LT1 equipt 9C1 (94-96) will beat any P71 to date. Now in '08 the P71s are almost, ALMOST as quick as the 12 year older Caprices.

Youd think with 12 more yrs development it would be a superior car! The LT1s also have more potential to mods like exhaust, CAI and PCM reprograms, with just that mines running high 13s on normal street tires

  • holy shit man nice sound.. not crackly at all =D

  • Wow, beautiful note at lower RPMs and screams at higher throttle. Usually LT1s sre high toned and crackley.

  • how much do glasspacks costs? and how much do u think a caprice costs cause i was thinking about getting one

  • Usually a couple of decent glasspacks will run you about $20-$30 each. Where I live, you can pick up a retired 9C1 (police spec) Caprice in good shape for around 3 grand. I would aim for a '94-'96, make sure it has factory dual exhaust because those are the ones that came with the 5.7 LT1 (corvette based) motor.

  • alright preciate it

  • I have purchased a few 94-96's, with the 5.7. All of them running and driving, needing less than $200 in parts to be up to par. Paid $500 for a 94, 176k, but only 90k on the engine and trans. Rusty, but otherwise a great car. Paid $500 for a 95, 130k, a badly dented in rear door, otherwise a perfect rust free car.

Paid $550 for 94, 200k, dents, ran great, but needed a trans. Clean ones go for near $3,000 sometimes. But a decent car can be had for less than $2,000.

  • Sounds good man!

  • Yeah, and the bracket too! <rolls eyes>

  • Someone stole your license plate.
