  • R.I.P Laurence Lewin. The creator of La Senza. We the world have lost a one of a kind guy. You will be missed. By your family, friends, and the people who knew you. R.I.P

  • @elementcsm yea it sucks...:( They've completely changed the store now :(

  • If I had a dime for every pixel in this video, I'd be in debt.

  • They cleaned house with this deal! $25,000 and the help of a restaurant chain owner, and all they had to give up was a recipe.

  • go back to bollywood ugly bitches

  • PATELS

  • god damn those people looked burnt...lmao.

  • @fthis1234567 god damn those dragons looked boiled...lmao

  • @SLNightmare god damn ur gay.

  • They just sold a recipe from the public domain for 25 grand AND a 25% stake in Kim's business. I'd say they did pretty awesome

  • What a scam. Steals 75% of there business for peanuts. What exactly can you do with 25k in this day and age to start up a business? nothing you can't do with the change in your pocket right now. 25k buys you nothing. So unless the dragons do something they just gave away the business ..sad

  • @aceshigh8881 They should get 75% because they're not doing anything. It's just a recipe. All the work is on Jim and Arlene now.

  • @aceshigh8881 Technically the family didnt invest much at all into the business so i would say its not bad. I mean, he already had the recipe and considering the Dragons' reach (eg. the boston pizza guy), not bad.

  • @aceshigh8881 There was no business. All they had was a recipe. Jim and Arlene want 75% because they're doing all the work of building the business. Jim was actually being very generous when he first offered 50%. They'll be getting 25% for basically doing nothing. They're getting paid to learn about business, on the job training and own a pretty big stake. May even let them keep the recipe, who knows how that pans out. Jim and Arlene get 37.5% each. Now that's some awesome ass shit right there.

  • I AM A ROBOT!!! KILL ALL HUMANS!!! DIE SCUM DIE!!!

  • who in the right mind would give a 100 gran value to these indian pieces of shit

  • @worldchampionboxer You fucking racist asshole, take that bullshit elsewhere please

  • @CaptainEggSalad

i dint say they are worth 100 grand. Thats just a kid talking, how much more mean could you be

  • @jon0441 fuck off, i will not tolerant racism no matter how old you are.

  • @worldchampionboxer You fucking racist asshole, take that bullshit elsewhere please

  • @CaptainEggSalad hey, i'm just stating facts. who would value a indian soup for 30 gran? doesn't make any sense. it's so damn easy to make that shit. unless your recipe is something superbly new like kfc back in the days or something it's worth shit

  • @worldchampionboxer Are you attacking the kids or the product itself? Because if you are referring to people as pieces of shit, then I take offense to that. I'm a Canadian who was born in India (Indo-Canadian, as people would say).

  • @gooblagoobla i attack both the product and kids who hav the nerve to come up to successful entrepreneurs and think for one second they'd value their shit soup for 100k

by the way, non of the deals are finalized on the show. i can guarantee they did not sign with that shit. if they did, prove to me cuz this ep is old and their crap soup should hav a name by now if they did sign. the only reason they said yes on the spot was probably cuz they're kids and they need say yes sometimes for the show

  • @worldchampionboxer You said "indian pieces of shit". That sounds like an ethnic slur as mentioning "indian" is superfluous. And, either way, it is cruel to refer to kids as shit. But I would agree that the product is not worth anything and they obviously said yes JUST because they are kids. Anyone else would have been laughed off.

  • @gooblagoobla well these indians are definitely pieces of shit. trying to use their age as leverage to get a deal with the dragons. and trying to sell them their shitty tomato soup. lets say the soup was good... it's still tomatoe soup. who the fuck is guna even giv this a value of 10 dollars. i bet i can google a soup recipe that would taste way better.

  • @worldchampionboxer

forget the kids... Dude u r trying to compare apples to oranges... Taste of sambhar indian soup is way different than packaged tomato soup.. FYI

  • @jon0441 it doesn't matter, the recipe can be googled. it isn't something that can go big like fried chicken or french fries or sushi. it is not worth shit. googling recipes are worth more than this

  • @worldchampionboxer

lol ur funny mate... who can not google... Try making the same thing and compare it to your tomato soup...Indian food is a lot different dude...

  • @jon0441 what are u trying to propose here? are u saying their food is worth 100 gran? if u think so, then please go be a mcdonalds employee and never go into business

  • Tomato soup is the Indian chicken soup?

    lol

  • she aint cute

  • @kingacosta28

    You suck.

  • indians are shit, that's all I can think when I saw those animals

  • @KingAcosta28 hahaha looks like ur mom got banged by someone u don't like

  • this kid is in my summer school class...

  • @aliinayat12 no shit?

  • @AndyinMTL his name is vikram patel...

  • ..uh um, o.0 christ get the kids to do this kinda stuff?

  • @mmeasy123 whats so difficult in what im saying???????????????? can you quote exactly where and when i wrote dragons should give the money in return for 0% equity???????? can you????? IF NOT, THEN STOP EXAGGERATING THINGS.

i never said they should give money for 0%.i said 75% is too much, they should have taken less, but not ZERO.1% of a great business can make you a millionaire, 0% of even greater business will get you nowhere.when i say less than 75,i dont mean 0% or nothing!

  • Sometimes i feel my I.Q lowering after reading these comments.

This deal was good. They still hold 25%. They basically had a recipe and not much room for growth. and the kid is amazing

  • @cigiss haha maybe his english wasn't very good?

  • Patil with Rasam hmmm thats something a south indian need to approve :)

  • lol the british dragons den actually sucks dick.

  • It's funny how the Canadian dragons are so fast to say "I'm out" because I don't understand the business... why don't they ask into it like the British dragons? Maybe it's the editing?

  • You wonder why the "Dad" didn't show up.

  • I love when anglos fight XD

  • @mangeunscio says the guy that has never been in combat. let alone you don't have first hand knowledge of whos kicking whos ass... get your facts straight. how would you like some dumbass from the usa talking shit about canada? no honor in that dude, not cool. grow up, despite the political bs that most of us don't agree with... i lost one of my marines over there in my arms... you are a punk for disrespecting why he died without knowing your facts... hope you grow up.

  • @aveteranslife WHY Are you thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ha let me guess you want a help thoses peoples hahahahha usa helping hahahhahaha every country in the world hate usa ..... there must be a reason ....... you are there 4 revenge of 9 11 thats it ....... where are those weapons of massive destruction where is bin laden lol 10 years now hahaha iam sorry for those soldier who died there but you should not be there

  • @mangeunscio to be honest, i joined thinking it was the right thing to do... like i said, the political bs is far fetched, and i doubt it was ever washingtons intention to catch bin laden given the fact we would get pulled out of places he's known to be... what i'm saying is that there are things that i don't like about some other countrys, but i don't go talking shit about it withoutu first hand experience of the matter...

  • @mangeunscio everybody hates the usa because we get our nose in everyone elses business, as far as weapons of mass destruction, there are many countrys that posses them, and again, washington sends us in the other direction.

  • @daveygravey123456 Take a look at the world map... which country is on top and penetrating the other? Oh, it's Canada. Don't worry. Your ass will feel better in a few days... call us when it happens and we'll make another trip to your cell ;)

  • HA i know the kid hes in my science class in gr.9 :)

  • @SuperZanna88 tell him friom me that he is a nigger

  • Alright mates, this American Dragon's Den of yours is absolutely terrible! I'm from Liverpool and we're proud of our businesses ova ere and for the dragons to invest in east indian piss water is the worst idea ever! No wonder all those dragons are bankrupt.Probably homosexuals too.Our British dragons are the tops and would not even give these animals in clothes the time of day.

  • haha this kid does to my school

  • @MrDumpshit south secondary?

  • @fbgfresh yes south seconday school

  • @SuperZanna88 that kid is way too young to go to south, Tecumseh maybe. Thats hype tho that means this kids is from OLD SOUTH

  • @fbgfresh he was in gr.6 at the time or gr.7 NOW he goes to south hes in gr.9 :P

  • @fbgfresh yeah hes in grade 9 right now and i went to mountsfield with him

  • @MrDumpshit somebody better smoke that kid a fat blunt at lunch tomorrow

  • indians are greedy. Kid wanted to sell out his dads soup

  • @sycjoco fuck you that kid is awesome

  • for some reason this whole encounter seemed rlly awkward

  • AT 2:53 did that guy seriously say he doesn't understand soup???

  • @AncientWarship He doesn't understand soup as a business proposition. The marketplace, the competitors, the customers, etc. Basically how to make money out of soup, not soup as a meal.

  • @champalidina you thought indians were better at numbers lol thats a lie spread by your filthy country

  • taking advantage of kids

  • Greedy man !! Nothing more !!

  • 100% of nothing is definitely WAY LESS than 25% of a multimillion income.

  • wtf 25k for a soup?!

  • Have you ever watched the show? It's for an investment

  • @speakerbox123

shutup man it smass production and marketing costs could easily surpass 25 k in like a month

    fucking nooob

  • @speakerbox123 lol what a retard you are

  • @speakerbox123 how much do you think chunky or campbell soup are worth?

  • This guy can't pronounce the letter 'S' properly

  • Lmfao at 2:14, Rob

  • Treliving and Dickinson what a couple of slimeballs

  • What an amazing ten-year old!

  • @vertstylus i was more amazing, I finally learnt how to colour inside the lines.

  • @vertstylus Yeah amazing ! he is completely brainwashed, and will the rest of his life focus on money ! WAUW what parenting !.. why is that people in the west are more based on succes then being happy ?

They make the link : i get to have succes, cause else i can't be happy. And next thing we do is put it in the brains of the innocent kids .. we care about so much... ( allmost throws up* )

LOOK AT THE KID ! he should be playing football instead of learning text based on money

  • @Insane0industry Playing football and chasing money are the same thing: pursuing a goal. It just so happens that its much easier to make a living by doing business than trying out for a football league. People choose to do business, successful businessmen have a passion for it, i know i prefer it over playing a sport, never was much of an athlete myself... It just so happens this kid realizes his passion at an early age. Now fuck off with your emotional bullshit.

  • it's like taking candy from a baby

  • shit, if i knew that i would have given my mom's rasam recipe. lol i always drink it when i have a cold

  • wtf, he tried to take their whole company away 75%!

  • Mmmm, yearning for a nice boona gosht.

  • i perosnally like the uk one better and i am canadian loool but i dont mind this one i just dont like the bald fucker,it would be cool if uk and tese dragons went head to head bids for a whole new dragons den i can see alot of them bumping heads and then pulling out there expertises and bank records

  • the counter offer was $50k for 100% with a 10% royalty

  • your a joke british monkey

  • Not british, or a monkey. Good try though.

  • Uk version is better in my opinion, and they seem more flexiable, plus Uk den is more relating to numbers to put the show together

  • uk dragons den is so much better

  • greedy bastards!!!

  • I think I understand why they accepted the offer even though it was unfair....Because, if they dont except it they will actually loose money that they could have earned from it otherwise. So even if it was 10,000 offered they would still accept...This actually goes back to microeconomics....Economic profits vs Accounting profits....

  • @masterkombat or mabye its because they are naive kids

  • Why didn't they give the money for a less equity - what is $25000 for them? it's just about £12000 - which is absolutely nothing for them aint it?? 75% is like "stealing" the business in a way - those people were the ones that founded the business and the dragtons just took the business away!!

  • @Vahik88

Dude all the kids had was a recipe. They where not manufacturing it or selling any of it. They didn't even have a brand name. What they got offered is crazy I would say, especially with the pizza guy and how he could market it. They got 25K plus 25% of the company just for letting him taste a recipe.

  • @Vahik88

yeah they should giveaway 25k for just a recipe , good deal

  • @TheDevirtue if you dont see difference between lets say 40% of a business and just a recipe, then you're a genius, most innovative businessman the world ever saw.

  • @Vahik88

    they have nothing, like you

  • @TheDevirtue you are talking non-sense. when i said 75% is stealing the business, you said with sarcasm yeh, they should have gave the money for just the recipe. I am telling you a recipe is nothing like 40% of a business. recipe alone does not make money, business does. 40% of the business may bring millions to them, but 100% of a recipe is worth 0. dont you see the difference?

and please stop commenting on my position, im in business as well and you have no idea what i have. ok? now clear?

  • @Vahik88 I think it was steep too, but they'll be doing great and making a lot of dough now I bet. The connections of those two are kinda priceless for a product like that.

  • why is the dad being a pussy and hiding

  • That's what I thought at first. But then I realized that it's because he knew his kids could sell the product better.

  • well i gues that shows wut the dad knows

  • "That's what I thought at first. But then I realized that it's because he knew his kids could sell the product better. "

    They robbed the kids!!

  • no english

  • "i dont understand the product" ?

is this guy a fucking retard ? its a soup, you sell it and people eat it. what a joker

  • lol, retard! my taughts exactly!!

  • dude go fuck your mother's maggot infested corpse

  • What would you prefer, 25% of a thriving business (thanks to their connections) or 100% of a business that makes no profit whatsoever?

  • you mean the guys who are gonna make more money than you when they grow up

  • I kept thinking Jim is gonna add the soup to his Boston Pizza menu...

That was a bit greedy for a guy who sells over $1 billion in food a year.

  • Stupid British ALWAYS comment on our Dragon's Den videos and call it American - have you never heard of Canada? Tards...

  • @graymccarty hahahah word is bond

  • @graymccarty yeah all the british are as ignorant as the few retards on youtube fuck you idiot i can tell the fucking difference

  • @graymccarty yea they have..they own it. lol

  • @graymccarty I think you should learn some history if you don’t think the British have heard of Canada. You should also watch the British version of Dragons Den and see the dragons behave with class, making good investments and offering invaluable advice. The Canadian dragons have no manners; they change their offers and make unreasonable deals, and they have made some of the most stupid investments I have ever seen!

  • @DrivebySerenading

say that when you have a net worth of over 500 million dollars, tool.

  • @graymccarty you'd think we didn't have the queen on all our money...

  • @graymccarty Canada is America's retarded cousin

  • @notat22 that's funny. usually it's the other way round.

  • @crazycookie66 touché

  • hey thats not nice

  • Its rare in the UK version for the dragons to take over 50% of the company. I guess this is why I enjoy the UK version more because I get a genuine sense of satisfaction when I see a business owner retain ownership.

  • The original series from UK wins every day.

  • They did well in negotiating a deal in a situation were they had very little leverage to negotiate the deal.

NB-they went for 100% with royalties, bad move shows they were desprate.

The dragon see great potential here that why they took majority control as a deal.

Problem- With 75% the company is theirs I sense they will be bought out or will have little control over what becomes of their product.

Good job for kids but I don't see a rosy future.....

  • why oh why didnt they just accept the 50% offer in the beginning

  • its CANADA CBC is a canadian channel! shutup!!

  • The secret ingredient is people.

  • lol u just cracked me up

  • I laughed out loud.. That was great.

  • @linagee

    LMAO

  • @linagee reptile meat tastes like chicken

  • thats the worst deal ever!!! they're soo stupid

  • Imagine what happens when the dad comes home and finds 75% of his business shares sold.

  • LMAO

  • No matter how much expertise one has, if the dragons have majority shares in every company they invest in, how will they devote any time to one company. no matter how much expertise one gets it is ridiculously greedy

  • Duh. The dragons are investors, not managers. They hire people for that sort of thing. Yes they do make PR-type appearances to factories for facetime. Stop thinking small.

  • It's not about thinking small the family's deal is rather shit. And the investors have full control of too many businesses when its not going to necessarily be in their best interest to sustain them all. I bet they gained their experince from errors of their past not selling out completely. It just shows how very few people run things. If i'm completely of point i'm just replying this comment can't be bothered to rewatch this and remember why i thought the whole thing was ridiculous.

  • big up dupe16118! i feel ya blud

  • VERY SMART KIDS

  • fucking greedy american bitches

  • even if they got a tenner for it its just soem idea americans are daft as fuck, i can make chicken soup with bits of peacock in it and added herbs n spices, who will give me 200 grand for it??

    thought so....

  • this is the Canadian version

  • this is the Canadian version

  • hiimbarryscott

Never underestimate the potency of Indian spices in just the right combination.

  • Once again the "GREEDY GUTS" Dragons bully their way into a deal uping the percentage from 25% to 75% (200% increase)and for a paltry $25K.

Does anyone with a decent product ever get just what they want from these capitalist vultures?

  • How many assets did the company have besides the soup recipe that they now have control over? LOL. Their computers? Their cars? Their house?
